I've only just beaten the King knight stage but the plague of shadows dlc is glorious, Plague Knight (amiibo pls) himself is just a joy to control & even though the levels don't have big twists or much new to them his move set makes fun to go through them again. The new challenge mode is also rock hard.

The answer to The Question has become "No, but I can blow it up". As Jas says, there isn't much difference in the levels on a Plague Knight campaign, but it's sure going to be fun playing through the game again as the beaky blighter.

I also like how they have added his own collectibles to the levels along with the traditional ones.

Ah, I'd totally forgotten this was due out! I'll get this downloaded again and tuck into the expansion.

| - Spoiler:
Feel weird - just been genuinely moved by part of Plague Knight's story. I'm still a fair way off finishing it, but, yeah. Odd.

Had the amiibo on pre-order but cancelled it when the last credit card bill came in. I wouldn't get much out of a co-op mode or challenge mode but that it's happening makes me giddy. I'm almost tempted to get it for Super Mario Maker, to be honest...

Ahh that's a shame though it does sound like he won't be super rare to find at a later date, I actually can't wait to see what levels people make with SK in SMM.

The game that keeps on giving... is set to give again. New character campaigns coming! Seeing as the Plague Of Shadows DLC really lifted the game for me, I'm delighted that the promised extras are still on the cards.

I haven't actually played Plague yet, but the fact it exists is very exciting. I like knowing it's in my pocket, and I can have some more goodness whenever I fancy it.

Oh jeez, I've only just started Plague of Shadows (Plaguey's explode-o-jump is getting the better of me!) - I'm not ready for more yet! But seriously, I'm pleased that this game has done so well.

It seems like ye will have time for Plague yet since no date for Spectre Knight was mentioned. |

What is limited about it? They've only printed enough to sell to Vita owners. |

More Shovel Knight? Yes please! The Specter Knight campaign is coming early next year, it seems. I am more than ready for it.

Seconding Jas - once you've got used to Ol' Plaguey's moveset, it's brilliant. I know I've mentioned it before but I think his story is stronger than Shovel Knight's.

I'm going to be a pedantic pengles but shouldn't this now be in the Switch thread like with Yooka-Laylee? As it did seem a few of us are thinking about giving it ago again on Switch.

The admin team and I had a chat about that very issue, Mr. mas, and we decided we'd move them over when the next big announcement about the game came out. Then we could talk about what was going on and not just move the thread - move it purposefully.
