| Ah, you're all going to love it. It's jostling with Dark Souls II as my game of the year so far. |

| As I remember, you thought DSII was a huge step-down from DSI, am I right? Looking forward to this regardless. |

| Not a huge step-down, but a step-down regardless... but that's more a testament to DSI's brilliance than anything else. I will chime and say that Shovel Knight is pretty short - only about 5/6 hours - but there's replay value there if you end up really enjoying it. I'd bear that in mind if you're still on the fence. |

| DSII did have a different director who's been working on Bloodborne.
But on SK, I will be playing on Saturday at EGX. Hopefully I'll get plenty of play time with it being a indy people might be distracted by likes of SMASH. |

| The shortness isn't a surprise for me. I'm not expecting an indie title to be a twenty-hour epic. Just deliver fun in those 5h, that's all I ask. |

| Oh, you'll definitely get that. It was a very fun six hour experience, save for one stage which was more frustrating than fun. |

| I'll be all over this when it releases. I've also managed to not spoil any of the game for myself by watching vids etc. Can't wait |

| Finally we have it in our mitts, I absolutely love it to bits already & I've only taken down two bosses the thing that will hit you right away is how amazing the music is and the controls are really tight as well. |

| It'll probably have to wait til next pay day for me. Then it'll be the Wii U version, indie games barely get touched on 3DS. |

| It's a fine game but it is tough (next time read up on the controls before you begin, Zero ). My only other thought is "Medieval Mega Man much?!" It plays like a love letter to NES-era Capcom... which is a good thing. |

| On the back of Drunka's recent music week, all I have to say is:
SHOVEL-DA SHOVEL-DA SHOVEL KNIIIIIIGHT, HE'S DOWN-LOAD-ING RIGHT NOW! SHOVEL-DA SHOVEL-DA SHOVEL KNIIIIIIGHT, WITH A SHOVEL NOT A TROWEL.
Yay. |

| That's me finished it, absolutely superb game however I don't think I'm properly done with it as I might work through all the feats & my item completion was only 81%

| Blinking heck, that was quick! Admittedly I've not been playing it much, but I've only just beaten King Knight. I think I have unfinished business with it already, though: saw some passages I accidentally destroyed the routes to. |

| Not quick enough for the speed run feat though. (where you have to beat the game in under 1 hour & 30 minutes) |

| Seconding Balla's "Blinking heck" with a "Crikey"! You must have really enjoyed it to finish it off so soon. Like Balla, I've just finished King Knight (and am really concentrating on EarthBound...). |

| I'm happy to hear this is great. How's the difficulty: is it the "right" kind of difficulty? No memorisation of levels and bosses? I read about spike pits being instant-death and had bad memories of NES Mega Man. Please tell me it isn't like those games! |
