What could have been an excellent showcase for both 3D and the system’s Circle Pad instead turned out to be a major disappointment, and a poor game by any standards, not just a Super Monkey Ball fan’s."


I say: I included this one due to its rubbishly easy gameplay and not particularly good side modes. The worst Monkey Ball you can play, who thought putting a channel down the middle of every level to stop you falling off?

I say: I tried the DSiware version and it was ok but I certainly wasn't tempted to pick up another game in the series for a crazy high price.

I say: The emphasis on coin collecting put me off, I'd pick it up if I saw it cheap but it's Mario so it won't be.

Replacing with no tangible support characters, OP stickers and a lacklustre plot. When it ain't broke do not fix it!"

I say: I like what I've played but it wasn't compelling enough to go back to. I think this has made it through collective disappointment as opposed to actually being naff though.
