| Yes 3D rereleases are VC. Tomodachi seems fine to me. Only PAL games, no Japan or NTSC. |

| Right, I've got those votes mostly written up. I've picked out five for everything, including the Specul-o-tron award, and some (dis)honourable mentions; so I hope there'll be lots of room for comments! Mas, another game for your list: Bravely Second. I'm pushing for it to be the most anticipated game, and Default to be the best overall, solely to troll Jaster and TCK. If that's not a good reason to vote, Athrun, I don't know what is! |

| Why would it bother me if you voted for that? If you enjoyed the first so much then fire away. |

| You're no fun. Nah, I did really enjoy it, and wanted to make sure that Second didn't get left somewhere down the table. There's the microtransaction worry, but for those of us who love our JRPGs, if it's like the first but better it should be fantastic. |

| Added them Balla and updated, so there’s 23 titles there now.
I've got a few questions
First at the moment Dual Destines is down as retail games, yes at heart it is but if it was a full retail game at £29.99 I wouldn't have bought it but due to it being an eShop title at an eShop price in the EU. I bought it, so to me it's an eShop title same with code of princess.
Second question, Balla brought up about him not playing all his ambassador games as he already played them. I never had them but have played most of them and same with VC / retro classics I've played most of them but only download the Zelda's as I've not played them before. So where do I stand as if Balla is allowed to vote for Wario 4 but not actually played it on 3DS, can I as well.
Third question, Four Swords wasn't it a deluxe edition so is it more of an eShop game or a VC game / retro classic which I guess is where it will go like SEGA Classics.
Fourth Streetpass games, so we've got payed for ones from the store, so do they count as eShop titles or great uses of the 3DS with the street passing.
I'm looking at my top 10 at the moment and there are two noticeable games missing, I’m not going to say what they are yet but I guess we will unveil our top 10’s at the end, so you’ll know what they are then. Main reason these two aren’t in mine is the first I’ve had since Christmas but only played the demo for a good few hours and about an hour of it but it was good and what I’ve seen of it & know of it from you guys but I feel something I’ve played so little of shouldn’t be in my top 10, maybe for the 5th anniversary vote and when I’ve played it. It’s the same with the other game I’ve played a bit more of it and so far it’s been it’s great but I know I’ve got a lot still to do in it, so at the moment I don’t know if I can justify putting it in.

| Like I said I'm not bothered where you played the game. I've never played a game on 3DS that is multiformat that I thought couldn't be played elsewhere and have the same quality experience.
Dual Destinies seems to be heading to the eShop category at the moment, any objections?
I suppose you could consider the extra streetpass games as eShop titles. Innovation is obviously going to have overlaps so it can go there too.
Four Swords was DSiware so I suppose it's excluded like DSiware is seeming. |

| When we say "the Streetpass games are eShop titles", does this include the free Puzzle and Quest? They're less gamey than some of the others (Mansion and Squad), and of course they don't actually come off the eShop. I haven't actually considered them as games at all, just as innovations. |

| I was only thinking the ones you've paid for as you could vote for face raiders in something, so any game you can buy / download for the 3DS that isn't DS or DSiware can be voted for, well that's how I've took it. |

| Yeah Puzzle and Quest should be excluded on the same grounds that AR games shouldn't count. Chuck them in innovations if you wish but they're not eShop games. |

I've not really added comments like some do though. |

| Lots of good ideas in this thread - well played, andyman.
It's unfortunate for me that I've not done a lot of 3DS gaming in the last twelve months - the only new games I've bought and played are New Leaf, Dream Team Bros., Yoshi's New Island and Layton Vs. Ace Attorney. There'll be gaps on my list, having yet to play Pokémon, ALBW, Azran Legacy, Fire Emblem and so on. It's an elderly list that I think would be totally different once I get more gaming in ( hopefully in the summer, after my postgrad) |

| I like these categories. Will submit my votes in due time, a lot to reminisce about from what was the best year for 3DS yet (and I can't see 2014 topping it right now!) |

| After actually getting some work done for a change I've allowed myself a cursory glance. Great comments on those I've seen so far (well some of them, some of you are mad ) Keep them coming! |

| I don't know if there mad or if it's you Andy , remember we voted N64 best system of all-time yet you voted it the worse. And there's always seems to be some think about the votes like me voting Wind Waker HD best Wii U game because it is, it's the same story with the Xbox One & PS4 at the moment Tomb Raider is the best on them and with Last of Us coming to PS4 (which we all know is going to happen) that be the best for quite sometime. Then there was ZombiU. So wouldn't be surprised by any shocks. I'm reckoning there be a few ties on the fav world type categories. Mine will be incoming any minute from now. |

| ZombiU was brilliant...
I should have put that for the game I most want on 3DS!
Nah, I'm pretty sure I had some mad opinions, though I still agree with what I thought at the time. Especially for worst game on 3DS, The games I put down aren't the worst but they disappointed me to such an extent that they feel like it.
The results are going to make for an interesting read. |

| Andy and I have very different tastes, as he is well aware ( InfiniteSpacewasagreatgameandyouknowit), so I'm sure some of my choices seemed "mad" to him. Not to mention he's one of the only people on the forum who hated MK7, the loony. I'm thinking that I was probably similar to you in my bottom five, Vido. A couple of them, while not abjectly awful, just disappointed me so much that I had to call them out for it. |

| I wouldn't go as far as hated MK7 as much as was heavily disappointed by it, it's stupid Kart customisation and the gliding/underwater sections adding absolutely nothing. Also the fact SandART was a much more interesting and fun game so it couldn't compete. |
