So push comes to shove and your life depends on it. Which Sega game is your desert island game ?
My vote goes to Chu Chu Rocket so that island better have online capabilities. 1 on 1 games of chu chu against an opponent with over 60% wins always got the heart racing. I'm really surprised that it hasn't made comeback on XBLA, PSN or it perfect home, the WiiU. Nintendo need to get on this....just for me.

Hard one if it was any point in time something like Phantasy Star online being a MMO would go on for ever and you could talk to people all over the world.

I figure this thread would be a good place to ask.
I just bought myself a Sega Megadrive 2 bundle to compliment my WiiU and N64 under the TV. I'm hoping to get a MK1 model in the next few weeks from a family member (much better looking model) which i'm going to open up and customize to run at 60hz and play jap/usa carts. If all goes well i will then be selling the MK 2.
Anyway, the games.....which ones are going to cost me the most ? I've seen Alien Soldier can go for quite a bit. Gunstar Heroes is pretty affordable. My main aim is to get the games that i used to own again which shouldn't be too expensive from what i've seen but i'd like to get hold of a few of the harder to find/afford titles too. Ideally i would also like to get a full compliment of NCS/Toaplan games too.

Yeah
What's the actual question Rattle,
I've had MK1s but still keep good old MK2 even without the headphone jack. I keep my mega drive mainly for nostalgia value to play greats like Sonic 2, Streets of Rage 2, Gunstar Heroes etc. I buy do a lot of mega drive games if I see i don't own cheap I buy it. But I don't go out of my way to get any if you are looking at getting some more rarer game's unfortunately eBay or consolepassion for example but they will cost you a pretty penny on there.
Also you want Zero Wing just for the opening credits.

Yeah Zero Wing is on my hitlist.
My question was which games usually go for the most money, just in case i see them cheap. Sorry i guess i was rambling on a little bit eh.

Sorry to hijack the conversation, but this is absolute class.
SEGA of America are re-releasing Sonic The Hedgehog 2 on iOS and Android. Fair enough. You can also play as Knuckles, and there's a new boss rush mode. That's cool.
...they've also went and stuck the near-mythical Hidden Place Zone right in there!

I think that's just brilliant. Well played, SEGA.

It's from Sonic Retro Team a fan ran team, they also did the Sonic CD re-release and Sonic 1 on iOS which allowed you to play as tails and knuckles for the 1st time ever. Now if this team could make Shenmmue I & II HD.
Back to you Rattle, hmm like I said most places even Boot Sales & Charity Shops as they all saw that dam sun article are expensive.
But my most valuable Probotector £60+ on eBay, I did mange to get quite cheap though.

The port (actually, I think it's on a new engine and the sound files are actually recorded from a Mega Drive instead of attempting to emulate the sound so it's kind of a remake) of the first was also great, and controller support is also a plus.

I've just been watching IGN's Game Scoop who were talking about Valkyria Chronicles & it's remaster coming that it may be SEGA's best game.

@Drunka: but technically correct.
My favourite two SEGA games, off the top of my head, are Sonic 2 and Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed. The former is my favourite of the classic Sonic games and the latter scratched that Mario Kart itch good-style until Mario Kart 8 appeared.
For a fuller list, I'd have to sit back and consider for a while - there'd be a lot of Mega Drive platformers in there, though. Games like Ristar and Pulseman, f'r example.

My favourite Sega games are Binary Domain and Bayonetta; the best games about shooting and fighting, respectively.

Not Vanquish Drunka,
Yeah the NES was way better and I've long sold that Master System as for some reason that system has never clicked for me.

I do link Vanquish, but for me Bayonetta is the better of the Pkatinum games and BD is the better shooter, so it misses out. Close-run thing, though.

I don't know if anyone played Sakura wars so long my love on the nintendo Wii but it's amazing and the other sakura wars are on the dreamcast in Japanese! I have played them all and wish they did these games in English remake released on the PS4 or NX in the future. As anyone played any of them or seen the anime?
