| I find the biggest issue with Gaur isn't the gaping hole, it's the fact to do anything you have to be standing at the top which is simply too high! If you get knocked slightly in the air at about 20% you're screwed! |

| I wish it was one of those stages that randomly changes platform placement, like on tortimer Island or Balloon fight. |

| It being a stage from a game famed for its scale, it could have been a bit bigger to my mind. But then it would have been harder to see things on the 3DS... Decisions.
Anyway, last night I discovered that one shouldn't try to fight the Master Core on 9.0 while drunk. It doesn't end well. |

I disagree with you there. So far we've had Adventure Mode -> SSE -> Smash Run, so I have no doubt that they'll evolve the idea more in future. Honestly smash run feels so completely different to both of those that aside from it involving duffing up enemies from nintendo history it doesn't feel related to them. Or if it is it feels like a massive devolution, the Pichu to the pikachu and raichu. |

| Well we haven't seen what U has up its HD sleeves yet. Presumably it's not just going to toss all those enemy models to one side. And you can't deny that the enemies are better than the SSE's mess, even if the Roturret and Mites have made it back for a second round. |

| Oh dear. I've been playing a lot of For Glory 1V1 like a tryhard. I think I'm getting quite good at it. The ending to this video was pretty damn satisfying. |

| I don't think I'll ever repeat it. I don't even know why I bothered falling down after I hit the stomp in mid air, but I'm so glad I did. |

| I use that taunt at the start of every match! I think less on the folks who rush me as I'm asking them to show me their moves. EDIT: Seems like my big Smash win is going down a treat on Reddit! |

| Now you just need to come up with some annoying OTT screechy "wombo combo"-type catchphrases. Should be easy enough.
You know what else is easy? All-Star on Hard, perversely. I've cleared it with Palutena. Palutena.
Has anyone managed to get to grips with the Goddess of Light? She still seems more like a Goddess of S***e to me. |

She's pretty garbage without her custom moves - seems like she's built around them to be honest, which means she's pretty shite online. Her up smash is pretty good, I'll give her that, but she's basically just a shite Zelda. |

| But surely they'd give her some decent standard moves as well? And why did they think that Reflect should be a >+B option? The mind boggles. - Balladeer wrote:

Of course, after having said this I had a very rough time getting through it with - Hidden character:
Bowser Jr. He's much stronger in the air than on land, and it was a while before I figured that out.

| - In defence of a hidden character:
Man, Bowser Jr. is so good. He's good up close with his A flurry attack, strong Smash attacks, really great down air attack, superb recovery (seriously, side b and up b have crazy recovery distances) and you can really fake people out with the down b and neutral b.

How much would you pay to get the same outfits for SSB4? Just think about it... Link in a top hat and tails! Bowser in hipster glasses! Luigi in a beanie! ...okay, maybe not Luigi. |

Not least because of the "pyoing" noise of his Up+B move.

| Still enjoying what I've played of this, but I'd guess that I'm the only one whose finding All Star Mode to be a right pain in the tits. I've beat it with three or four characters, and failed it a further twenty times. I just keep falling off, or getting my arse handed to me on easy.
I just went Paulatena for the first time, and Goddess of Shite indeed. I still keep going back to the original cast from the N64 version - especially Wizard Hat Pikachu, natch- as none of the newer characters are doing it for me. |

| I actually had an amazing run with Palutena, only had to heal for the last battle I think. Her smashes are super powerful and make up for her sub par specials. |

| Meh. I guess they have deceptive range, but they're too slow to compensate for the rest of her moveset. Maybe she's just tricky to get the hang of.
I still can't enjoy Pikachu either. No range, no power. In that case, though, it may just not suit how I play. I think I'm a mid-range player: I like the swordsmen and people with a strong projectile game. |
