| I'm pretty okay with that. The mode's so unforgiving, with its one-mistake-to-fail penalty throughout seven matches, that I don't mind it being easier. For the sake of the moronic unhammerable Challenge in U that requires one to beat Classic on 9.0 without a death, I feel that the same should apply to that mode. Or, y'know, just allow people to use their hammers on it. |

| I honestly can't say I feel all star is really a one mistake and you're out mode personally. I get hammered a fair bit in it but can pull through, just give me a character with some good fast smashes and that's all I need to keep the AI at bay. |

| So the Amiibo update has brought with it an AI update... and the new Lvl 9 AI is pretty tough! I've gone from reliably beating them to getting trounced pretty easily. They punish your attacks, they regularly go for spikes (do not play against Ganondorf. He'll use his Double Foot Stomp of Justice as soon as you go off stage) and they use combos (up throw to up air seems to be a regular one for many characters). Good to see! |

| I'd swear the ai is using DI now as well, I gave the new level 9 a try and had a R.O.B surviving the few smash attacks I could land on it that weren't blocked or dodged weren't killing it even when it was surpassing the 160% mark, and while Greninja isn't the strongest thing on earth it isn't that weak unless DI is involved.
Either way it's nice to finally see some credible challenge from the AI, although I still wish they'd up the AI in All Star mode as well, perhaps with a new "Extreme" difficulty so us masochists thrill seekers that aren't actually pushed by the current AI have something to do. As nice as playing in vs is I personally prefer modes like All Star because of the format. |

So, this is all apparently from an industry insider on 4chan's /v/ board, and it seems to be somewhat legit... LET ME OFF MR SAKURAI'S WILD RIDE

| The thing that leads me to think that the ride might be directed straight into the abyss is the generic wording. Those words are usually somewhat more... personalised.
So, I think that the second shot at least is fake. (mops brow) |

| I don't think the ride is over. - HERE BE SPOILERS ALMOST DEFINITELY:
A video - A VIDEO - of Mewtwo and Rayman on the character select scene. If this isn't it confirmed, then I don't know what is.

| 4chan might be where most of the bullshit comes from, but it's also where a lot of the leaks originate too. I wouldn't discredit it because of that. Plus... - Spoiler:
There's video. I don't see how it's not confirmed now.

| Really? Rayman? Right when Ubisoft threw their toys out the pram? Why don't you put Cloud in as well? |

| I didn't see the video before it got taken down, Jay: what was it showing?
EDIT: A bit of research suggests that it was just a video of the character select screen, not of actual gameplay. Colour me unconvinced. |

| It's increasingly pointing towards being real. I don't see why they wouldn't outright deny it. I'm prepared to be wrong, but I think it's happening. |

| That's solely theirs though - might be a bit trickier considering it's mostly Ninty's product. |

| The anger over this makes me laugh, especially if it's paid character dlc (optional) yet folk will still cry about it also as I've said before about DLC you don't have to stay true to the base game & generally the more out of the box the better it usually is. |

| I was sad to see it was a hoax, actually. Felt Rayman would have been a good fit for the Smash Bros. universe. Now imagine it was Ridley he'd "leaked" instead... |
