I bloody loved Master of None, it's weirdly beautiful despite just being a comedy show(not even amazingly funny, just kinda great).
iZombie is a brilliant, lighthearted murder show (zombie eats murder victim brains and is able to solve crimes because she gets parts of the victims memories, also takes on the victims personality in the process and hilarity ensues) I'd recommend that to anyone.
Brooklyn 99 is brilliant if you haven't seen that.
I've been enjoying Don't Trust the B in Apartment 23, I can't work out if it's good or just enjoyably crap.
Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt is a pretty fun, absurdish comedy.
Always Sunny got better with each season, so that's probably on my recommended pile at this point.
American Horror Story is pretty good.
That 70s Show is pretty good, though a bit of a slow starter.
That Mitchell and Webb look is essential if you haven't seen it, so is Peep Show
If all else fails watch Community Some of these I've heard of and didn't like the look of, but Black Mirror and Always Sunny are added to the list, and I do need to catch up on Peep Show too. |

| Only just seen this from Jay, how has no one recommend Orange is the New Black.
But does seem like you've got to watch even with the Marvel shows, HoC and Stranger Things which are all excellent.
I know Drunka watched it last season but anyone started watching Humans, it seems the only shows I'm really watching are about androids that and Westworld. |

| Haven't caught up with the new Humans yet, will have to do that. As for OitNB, I'm with Andy. It's super watchable but nothing special. You can just pop it on and let like ten episodes play. |

| I'm A Celebrity... feels quite good-natured this year. I'm really looking forward to seeing Scarlett's parents on Gogglebox without her, hopefully watching I'm A Celebrity...! They're missing a trick otherwise.
Had a thought the other day. D'you remember when reality TV was set to take over the airwaves? Hasn't scripted television made an incredible comeback? You're far more likely to hear folks talking about Game Of Thrones or TWD compared to The X Factor and such. |

| Hmm, I wonder if the ratings would agree though? I think in the circles we move, people are more interested in scripted telly but the public at large still lap up reality TV.
Speaking of scripted telly, I finished season three of House of Cards recently. Not the best, but I loved the subplot about a novellist who is recruited by the president because of his videogame reviews. I wonder why that resonated with me..?
I'll get on to season four eventually, but HoC is exhausting and addictive, plus it would be especially depressing at the moment. |

| Don't know if anyone saw The Apprentice? Next week's challenge is to make a VR game. At the end of the trail, Lord Sugar said "But there was no creativity! If it was up to you, 'Super Mario' would have been called 'Fat Plumber'!". I turned to Jo and finally found the purpose of this fact: "Actually, when he first appeared, Mario was called 'Jumpman'." |

| That makes me think back to the NGamer E3 preview of Fortune Street, where the poor PR person says she's going to play as "Monster" (i.e. the blue slime) and Matthew DOES NOT LET IT LIE. |

| I've been working my way through Westworld. I'm not update to date so no spoilers please, but this is one of the most wonderfully mind-bending TV shows I've watched since the early days of LOST. A smashing soundtrack and Anthony Hopkins dripping with subtle malice (or is it malice...?) are only bonuses - recommended! |

| Agreed! I was just coming into this thread to sing it's praises, there have been things I've guessed ahead of time but the way they get executed have still made me love it. Even though many won't pick up on it I love the little background glimpses they have put in some episodes of the films Gunslinger character, makes me wonder if he'll ever appear fully or if it's just a fun little nod from the original creator. |

| I reckon it's a nod more than anything, but I'd have never picked up on them had it not been for my Dad (who loved the original) nearly giving me a heart attack yelling "YUL BRYNNER I SAW HIM I DID" when he caught a glimpse of him. |

| Has anyone else been watching much Bojack Horseman? I just got up to the - Spoiler:
underwater episode
and it managed to capture everything I love about the show almost entirely without dialogue. Hilarious and also sad and touching, with an impressive mix of the bonkers weird and the meticulously captured humanity. |

| I've finished Westworld series one. Ruddy brilliant - cerebral and shocking, and works as a self-contained story by itself (whilst still sowing seeds for a second season) which is quite refreshing to see. A lot of shows are obsessed with nailing you with a cliffhanger to rope you back in (looking at you, The Walking Dead) the following week, but Westworld never really felt it had to resort to that. The performances are on par with some of the best I've ever seen in a TV show as well, and I hope Anthony Hopkins wins some awards for this. |

After I finished off the season yesterday I was sat hoping that the writers have an actual end (5 seasons tops) just so it doesn't fall into that trap. |

| I think they probably do, considering how meticulously planned this season seemed to be. They've inspired more confidence in me than the writers of LOST, at least! |

| I hope you're right. I refuse to watch Westworld because of Lost. On a more positive note, hey, it's Xmas season! The giant Radio Times has arrived, so there's bound to be a lot of good Xmas telly on soon.

| LOST was great
I watched the last episode of Westworld last night top work people behind it, is their a connection between this and Lost as I don't get why one show which ended 6 years ago would stop you from watching a new show Jimbob.
On TWD, the problem is that the comic is still going and the show is playing catch up and they've said they could kill Rick off and it could still continue like a soap opera. |

| They're both produced by Abrams, I believe. I think all Jimbob was referring to was the general problem of a show introducing lots of appetising mysteries but never properly solving them. |
