| Gently settling into middle age with the combo of Joanna Lumley's Japan (actually brilliant) and The Great British Bake-Off, the final series on the BBC before Channel 4 take over. It's just the same as ever before. |

| I watched last night all of Stranger Things and dam it's good but I did get to think with that and X-Men recently set in the 80's when will we get stuff in the 90's (I know he next X-Men film is in the 90's) but it seems now there is a lot of nostalgia for 90's things. |

| Stranger Things really captures the 80s, but it's coming pretty late into the 80s nostalgia boom. The 90s equivalent is just now sttarting so it'll be a while before we get our Stranger Things. That X-Men decades thing was pretty silly, as the actors definitely aren't ageing by decades I hope the next one takes the aesthetic and theme tune from the 90s cartoon. |

| I watched the first episode of Mr Robot & thought it was excellent, has a real Fight club (one of my favourite films) feel to it with the inner monologues that play out with the main character. |

| I've watched that first episode like three times but never any further I might cancel Netflix for a month and watch all the stuff on Amazon I've not seen. |

| Honestly, it's not worth pushing much further than the first episode. A show that truly jumped the shark. |

| Dara O'Brian's Go 8 Bit. It's a bit boring watching comedians play videogames, but it's a videogame show that's on Dave, and watching Bob Mortimer play Resident Evil 3 is amusing. Worth checking out. |

| I have been gagging to watch Go 8 Bit. My time will come.
Watching National Treasure - not the Nicholas Cage film, the Channel 4 drama with Robbie Coltrane about the old entertainer who has allegations made against him. It's dark. |

| Honestly, people watch the first couple of episodes, say it's great and then stop, so nobody realises how awful it is.
I quite like Go 8 Bit, though I think it will vary greatly depending on how into the games the guests are. Gina Yasharay didn't seem up to much. |

| I saw one slightly alarming review, so I haven't been brave enough to watch it - not even with the DoB in charge. |

| Just watched the first episode of Red Dwarf XI. I've never called myself a fan of Red Dwarf, but there's always been something watchable about it - it's got a lot of nice, easy-going stories. It's a good programme to watch if you want to trun your brain off. I don't think that it's ever once made me laugh though.
The new Red Dwarf was exactly the same. Cast was fine, story was nice, script was not funny in the slightest. |

| Red Dwarf is one of my shows but, on last night's evidence, it's past its best. Not really that funny - although I did enjoy the bit where the woman introduces herself in the club. |

| On Friday we watched the last episode of fabulous creep-o-drama The Fall. This season - the third - had an ambling start but the finale was a tense and super-unsettling corker. To follow that, we're in the middle of fabulous creep-o-drama The Missing. |

| Right - I've got myself a Netflix subscription again after not having one for what feels likes ages. I've not watched anything on Netflix since Daredevil Season One, so I wouldn't mind some recommendations on things to check out. I've got a few on my list already, but let me know if there's something I've missed from my list:
- Jessica Jones
- Daredevil Season Two
- Luke Cage
- Stranger Things
- The most recent series of House of Cards
- Some animation and anime that's recently been added, namely Cowboy Bebop and Rick & Morty

| Black Mirror is an obvious one.
I bloody loved Master of None, it's weirdly beautiful despite just being a comedy show(not even amazingly funny, just kinda great).
iZombie is a brilliant, lighthearted murder show (zombie eats murder victim brains and is able to solve crimes because she gets parts of the victims memories, also takes on the victims personality in the process and hilarity ensues) I'd recommend that to anyone.
Brooklyn 99 is brilliant if you haven't seen that.
I've been enjoying Don't Trust the B in Apartment 23, I can't work out if it's good or just enjoyably crap.
Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt is a pretty fun, absurdish comedy.
Always Sunny got better with each season, so that's probably on my recommended pile at this point.
American Horror Story is pretty good.
That 70s Show is pretty good, though a bit of a slow starter.
That Mitchell and Webb look is essential if you haven't seen it, so is Peep Show
If all else fails watch Community |

| I'd agree with most of Andy's, but American Horror Story is just awful. I was literally laughing at the crap dialogue and layers of cliche. Also, it's one of the worst shows for that ridiculous American thing where it has loads of swearing and gore and violence but jumps through all kinds of hoops to make sure nobody is naked when sex happens. |

| After a few months in the wilderness, MasterChef is back. It's the Professionals iteration, which doesn't satisfy in quite the same way as the ordinary programme, but I'll take anything 'Cheffy at this stage. |
