| Starfox Zero Review by the dream team of Me, Balla, Zero and Mas Fox, Falco, Peppy and Slippy!
I am pretty proud of it, but I bit off slightly more than I could chew with the weird formatting. It just works on a computer, it doesn't work at all on a phone. But the artwork, at least, is amazing. |

| Hooray! And thank you for organising/formatting Drunkski!
I've got a review to go up soon, in the "reviewing all the big Nintendo games" vein. This is not a big Nintendo game, however I'm still doing a piece on it. |

| Enjoyed the Starfox review although yeah, it'd probably work better in a magazine.
I wrote a piece on some old SEGA games. |

| Yay I'm a elitist gamers, good piece and anyone that reads it will understand why I went OG Xbox as it had most of those and a few other DC games ported over like one you forgotten Which there is a Dreamcast version playable of it along with VF4 there is a demo disc thing. Also not to be a spoil sport but your piece is wrong as SEGA made games on the likes of the 2600 and on other systems such as the NES & PS1 via publishers, that the end of the Dreamcast didn't make them suddenly 3rd party. More Info here, if you want to find out about SEGA games on other systems

| I showed the SEGA community gJones article and just let's say they want me to pass on info that I actually did pass on in my earlier post.
My first Retro Collect piece is up but no author box yet but will be soon |

| Thanks Zero. Glad you enjoyed it. - masofdas wrote:

I didn't forget Toe Jam & Earl 3, it just isn't what I'd consider a great game. Then again, I've barely played it. I recall Virtua Fighter 4 appearing in Dreamcast magazines in 2001, as well as games like Gunvalkyrie (which I didn't include either). It wasn't supposed to a list of all SEGA games during that period, but a reminder of the consistent rate that excellent SEGA games were released (particularly in 2003). - masofdas wrote:

It's not wrong; I meant it is their first foray after being an established first-party. I'll reword it. But the end of the Dreamcast did suddenly make them third-party. Nobody was saying SEGA were third-party when they were also first-party, even if they did make a game such as Sonic on the Neo Geo Pocket. That's just semantics. |

| I'll know what you mean and what said was basically what I said to the SEGA community as it's great piece which the may enjoy.
But nearly everyone of them was like this article is false as they made games every generation for another system.
Like you as I saw them as a first party up in till the Dreamcast end and didn't seek out the SEGA games on PS1.
I was pointing out one of my favourites which you missed in Toejam 3. |

| Not me, I knew what gJones meant but the SEGA fans are like it's WRONG! There's SEGA games on 2600, NES, TG-16, PS1 just to name a few.
That it's wasn't SEGAs first foray into 3rd party. |

| Maybe it's because you're actually causing the action in the Metal Gear games? Or maybe people just feel more emotionally invested in defending something they've spent £40 on, and its creator. Either way: nice article, well argued, I'm convinced. |

| It's a good piece but I've always thought of Kojima as the gaming version of Tarantino.
@Zero I may actually get to Heist now as it's coming to PS4/VITA but hope to read your mash-up piece before that |

| Settle doon because I never said it was, it's just that Tarantino is the type to make a film about a heist that doesn't show you the event taking place but then be very particular about what he does show you whereas Kojima while having unconventional characters will tend to show you every little detail of how everything came to be & be really grandiose about it. |

| Neither Suda nor Kojima is the Tarantino of games, because they're both really good. |

| True but I'm just pointing out that I don't think they have similar styles at all when it comes to telling a story. (suda is closer but still quite different as well) |

| There's a lot of style over substance with Tarantino films, I've found. He also seems to be able to do what he wants without anyone reining him in and, in my humble, unsubtle and often wrong opinion, very few creators make really worthy art with that kind of freedom. Edit: just before I posted this reply, the forum software showed me Andy's reply. |
