| Ah. I hadn't thought of that. It's not going to be compulsory motion-plus waving is it? (For the sword I mean) |

| Motion controls are great when done properly and not just used for pointless crap that could have been done with a single button press. Swing my arms around like a twit to pull a lever? no thanks. |

Swing my arms around like a twit to pull a lever? no thanks. True, but Skyward Sword delivered M+ control better than any game on wii. |

Swing my arms around like a twit to pull a lever? no thanks. Swing my arms around like a twit to developer precision sword strikes to every part of a goblin's body? Or to bowl bombs along a skeletal bridge? Yes please! |

| Whilst I enjoyed the motion controls in Skyward Sword, they better hadn't be in Wind Waker Reborn. The game doesn't need motion controls. |

| Agreed with that. Shoehorning motion controls into a game where they're not appropriate doesn't make for a pretty picture. Look at TP.
A second screen, on the other hand, can pretty much always come in useful. |

| I didn't mind the controls on Skyward, except for the odd raising of the sword to do the goddess thing |

| Yeah Skyward Sword controls are an example of motion controls done properly and definitely made using a sword much more fun. I cant see Wind Waker doing the same though |

| Whilst Skyward mostly worked with motion+ I still feel that I'd have enjoyed it more if it didn't have motion controls, some things it wated were to precise still. I'd also have enjoyed it more if they scrapped the naff bird. |

| So I'm the only person that didn't get along with Skyward Sword's motion controls, then? |

| I did actually like the motion controls, but for me it slowed down the combat considerably. With enemies (such as the electric sword goblin guys) being designed solely on precision and timing related combat, I dont know, I personally like the combat fast and fluid which motion plus just didnt reach for me.
While the combat was refreshing I absolutely HATED using motion controls to roll bombs, luckily it wasn't necessary for large sections of the game. Overall WW's system and TP's embellishment of WW's combat worked best for how I liked to play. |

| They could have got rid of the electric sword chaps, I'll give you that, but I don't see what difference it made: every Zelda game has enemies that keep their shields up. And WW had that insta-kill move which was cheap as anything. |

| I hope they change the timing up on that insta-kill move. If they reduce the window of opportunity to tap A and go in for the kill with that move, then the combat feels more challenging and the insta-kill move is a reward for more skilled players. |

| Don't get me wrong, the sword stuff in Skyward Sword was OK.. but as a malcoordinated gaming dinosaur, I would still rather press a button. The swimming however... I know someone who stopped playing it because they couldn't accurately swim / dive. |

| The only part of the motion controls which I didn't like in Skyward Sword was flying the bird, other than that I thought the controls were spot on, if you failed to do something correctly it was purely down to your own lack of skill. |

True, but it's a skill I son't have after playing 25 years of video games! I tend to hate swimming in any 3D game though; it's probably a bit unfair of me to blame it entirely on the m+. |
