Fire Emblem Fates! Love me a bit of FE, and I'm hoping to nab the special edition too.

I'm going to cheat and pick two here - Street Fighter IV and Super Smash Bros. Melee for me! I played C. Viper and Marth in their respective games.

Stunt Race FX. I am strangely really keen on getting behind the wheel of those googly-eyed cars again.

In. The benefits of being out seem to be renegotiating trade deals and I don't believe we'll get much better than what we have now. I am waiting to learn more on the issue, though.

Either Dragon Quest. I am really very fond of the series and am frankly delighted that I'll be able to take up a new DQ on a Nintendo console.

You can't beat a bit of Street Fighter II, slow as it might be, and it was always Ryu. Except for when it was Guile... but I got tired of charging his ruddy moves!

Jo and I went for tea at our wedding venue. It was lovely. We're still working our way through the chocolates they gave us.

Starfox. I love Starfox 64, and I got plenty of enjoyment from Assault, Adventure and Command, so I really want to see where it all began.

I don't really count Smash in this, so either Street Fighter II or Tekken 2. I'll go with Yoshimitsu, as he is bantz.

Year 11 prom. I asked the girl I'd fancied for years, she said yes, we arrived separately, I didn't have the guts to speak to her for the entire night. We did eventually go out for a year, but not for another two years.

I played through five videogames. A day well spent, I'd say.

Gunstar Super Heroes, although "desperate" is the wrong word.  There aren't many retro games out there I want to play at all (Jay's mentioned one I'd want to buy at least), but the original GsH actually managed to stand up despite its age.  So I'll happily give its sequel a go.

In.  And it'd be particularly hypocritical for me to say Out since I was pro-Scotland remaining in the UK.

Super Smash Bros. for Wii U, Nontendo elements aside; and probably Lucas.  His grab's rubbish, but Mêlée's Butterfingers "award" put me off grabbing for life.

Valentine's Day was last month - how did you spend the Day of Love?
Sigh.  When I was in a relationship I didn't think much of Valentine's Day.  The chocolates, flowers, romantic meals, fun stuff in the bedroom/bathroom/car: these should be part and parcel of a good relationship, things you do anyway, rather than saving them up for when your partner knows they're coming, and not trying for the rest of the year.  As you might imagine, being single and bitter makes me have an even more twisted view of the damn thing.

That said, there was a particularly good set of Tory party Valentines that I saw on Facebook, so it's not all bad.  Back to the question in hand, I think I had a writing group that day.

Ogre Battle 64. I was absolutely hooked on this weird, epic, tactical rpg when I was dossing about on a sofa for my last month in the States after having run out of money! Never finished it, but would find time for it on a handheld.

Fire Emblem: Fates - I love tactical rpgs and wish there were more of them. FE:F promises to be another strong edition to the FE series.

Work experience. I was assured by the Bath Theatre Royal that they'd have me aboard for however long it was months before we were due to turn up. I was meant to get something official in the post to confirm but it never arrived. When I called them a week or so before I was due to go there they told me I didn't have a place. I ended up "working" (playing runescape) in a horribly stuffy office where my dad worked knowing full well that all of my mates were doing fun stuff.

This is hard as I love a good fighting game but I will got also cheat, 2D Mortal Kombat II Mega Drive Version as I will beat you as Baraka then in 3D well this is a bit harder but it's going to be SoulCalibur with Seong Mi-na as my main but neither of these are my favorite fighting game character that's clearly Scorpion.

I really want GBA games on the 3DS VC. It’s probably too late for Nintendo to implement now, but it certainly feels like a missed opportunity. Putting them on the Wii-U made NO sense.

I want to say IN, but there’s a European Data Protection Law change coming in 2018 that greatly affects my job (having to opt-in rather than opt-out of marketing communications).

Soul Calibur on the Dreamcast. It has to be  Maxi with the insane nun-chakus, although he was open to the button-mashing techniques of Eddy from Tekken.

Yesterday’s walk to work. Not only did I get absolutely soaked, but I accidentally spammed a friend’s Facebook post called RIP Nan with celebratory Minion emojis (my hand was in my pocket on my phone trying to keep it dry). Highly embarrassing.
