There was a solar eclipse last month. What natural event do you look forward to the most?
The moment when summer collapses in on itself and I can walk outside without getting burnt to ashes/as sticky as Peach's sticky bits/both, but it's not quite dark enough yet to be thoroughly miserable.

TOH is the best.  Other than that, same old: Night Vale, Alice Ain't Deaded, IGN UK (although Gav is beginning to grate), and a couple of crickety ones to polish off.

Nope, and yep.  Games like the Ouendan games, and of course AAI2.  I have, up until now, found... ways of getting around them. (shifty eyes) But I still want to see The Great Ace Attorney come out over here!

Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle came out at the tail end of last month. What video game mascot and what Nintendo franchise should be mashed together next?
Hotel Dusk and Phoenix Wright.  Which would be, I reckon, a much better mash-up than Layton was.  No need to cram in puzzles, just investigation and court scenes in a slightly noir-er vein.

Super Mario Galaxy well that be more of a remaster but that is what I want the most an with SMO coming this month and unlikely to see a 3D Mario again for awhile, Nintendo could release Sunshine on the GameCube Virtual Console in 2018 then SMGHD in 2019.

Ice hotel, Finland (I think).  -30 or so.  When actually staying in the ice room you had to go outside briefly to go to the loo.  Not fun.  Worst, though, was the husky sledding, where my feet decided to roar with pain due to my atrocious circulation.

I used to have a kickabout with the lads fairly regularly. I can't remember the last time specifically, but I can remember one particular incident well: we were playing at 3am or so and a police van and car turned up, obviously responding to noise complaints and expecting to have a rumble on their hands. When they found it was just some people playing football a little too excitedly, they told us to keep it down and move on and that was that.

Was discussing this with the lads earlier; I can remember the exact moment I became scared of spiders! We were picking rhubarb in my nan's garden and encountered a big creepy white one when my auntie turned to me and screamed "RUN!".
Other than that, I was fascinated with UFOs and alien encounters but also terrified of them so would regularly sit up reading only to creep myself out.

Just hammering rain I've been caught in, I suppose. There was a night out in London, when I went to comic con, when I was very drunk in shots and t-shirt lost trying to find my hotel in an absolute downpour. That was pretty grim.

I've done some pretty ridiculous walks home after nights on the piss, when I've not bothered to plan a place to stay or a route home on public transport. That said, I'm normally in such a jolly state of inebriation it doesn't actually bother me.

We have talked about it and 2018 looks like it will be a good year with Kirby, Yoshi, Fire Embelm, Pokemon (has to be the big 2018 game) to name a few but after you've got them out the way you've got Metroid and Animal Crossing as the two big hitters but we've seen they can have success with New IP and they could bring things like Kid Icarus back again.

I do sort of see it going down hill in terms of best games of all-time calibre titles but I don't think that can be helped and would be hard for anyone to top Zelda and Mario but hey if we get a Switch exclusive every other month and it's 8 or 9 then how can you moan at that.
