| Happy to get on SoR 2, if only for the NGamer connection. Still not buying any games in July, though... |

| Streets of Rage 2 is a bloody classic - highly recommended. |

| Streets of Rage II stands alongside Sonic 2 and Gunstar Heroes as being a true Mega Drive classic. They're all must haves - I'm a little jealous of folks like (presumably) Balladeer who have never played them before, they're real treats. |

What NGamer connection? NGamer put it in each of their random Wii Virtual Console top 5 lists that appeared in the magazine for a couple of years. It was stupid stuff, like 'top five roller skates' 'top five games with beaches' and 'top five apples'. |

| Based on everyone's posts I'm guessing I should be getting this? I've never played it either, and I've been looking for a quality Beat 'Em Up. People keep recommending Muramasa to me recently but that's a bit too shallow for my liking, both in terms of combat and how the environments are pretty just there to stare at than serve any other purpose. |

| Yeah, definitely worth it. One of the best beat-em-ups of all time. |

| I already own about 5 versions of this but I'm very tempted, it feels like something made for handhelds. I'm sure I read somewhere that there's no more planned SEGA 3D Classics right now, very sad news if true. |

| Agreed: SEGA and M2 have got a great thing going here and they should totally carry on! There are many more MD games that could get - The Treatment. |

| We've still got Gunstar Heroes to come in August and then Sonic 2 in September but nothing after that.
I've only heard great things about Muramasa but it's not a classic like Streets of Rage 2 which NLife gave 9/10.
But do agree there are more games that should get the classic treatment (gives me a idea). |

| I have completed Muramasa as it's a fantastic JRPG and I have really enjoyed it on the Wii version there is the vita muramasa rebirth if your on the go and don't have the time which I would recommend if so. |

| It is good news but still won't be the best version of 2. |

3D Sonic The Hedgehog is, without question, the greatest version of the original I've ever played (for just about every reason imaginable), so I don't doubt that it's sequel will be of a similar high quality. What's the best version of 2, if it isn't going to be the 3DS remake? |

| Neo Geo Pocket Adventure is a re-imagining of Number 2 and is arguably the best Sonic. |

| I've never played it so I honestly couldn't say much about it. I didn't even know it was a re-imagining in the first place. Still, from the YouTube longplay I just skipped through it looks like a simplified, streamlined version of 2 with all-new bosses...which are three things that Sonic 2 didn't need to be or need to have, to be fair. As said though, I've never played it. |

| If you can get your hands on a NGPC & the game buy it, only Sonic CD can topple it.
When SPA came out it got 10's from the likes of IGN but due to the system it's on, people forget about it and doesn't have a whole lot of reviews either to get a real gage of how good it is. |

| 3DS Game of the Year is coming November 4th and it's the SEGA 3D Classics Collection which will contain these 9 (there is a 10th unlockable) games:
Fantasy Zone II W Sonic The Hedgehog Thunder Blade Galaxy Force II Altered Beast Power Drift Puyo Puyo 2 Fantasy Zone II: The Tears of Opa-Opa Maze Walker
Two of which make their European debut, get hyped bros
Now that I've my SEGA biased out of the way, this isn't a great 9 or 10 games to be honest from SEGA's back catalogue seeing you could have a set of just these 6 and it would be better
Sonic Sonic 2 Streets of Rage Streets of Rage 2 Out Run Gunstar Heroes |
