| We have E3 2019 news already as for the first time in 24 years, Sony won't be at E3 in any capacity which has lead to some speculation as to why.
Personally, I feel all they have left for PS4 is everything we know like Death Stranding which there is zero point of showing again and anything new is PS5, with some reckoning they may have two PSX like events in 2019 and the PS5 will be shown at one if not both of these along with dates for PS4 games they have left.
I think they're more likely to do like they did with PS4 have an event in March 2020 showing the PS5 then they'll be at E3 2020 and it comes out November 2020, and we know it's coming as Square Enix have even confirmed they have a PSV (code name) game in development.
Both Nintendo and MS have confirmed they will be at E3 with some banter from MS, which is a bit iffy to say they're at E3 as technically they're not but at the Nokia Theatre the same week, same goes for EA etc.

| To be honest, Sony's efforts this year were a bit too much in the vein of pretentious self-congratulation, especially with all the live stage show nonsense and the relative dearth of games that they showed off. I much prefer something like MS's show this year from an E3 stage show - Sony's show would have best suited something like PSX. |

| On the same day we get details on PS5, MS has announced on Sunday, June 9 at 1 p.m. PDT (9pm in the UK) will be there E3 Briefing.
Which is less than 2 months away. |

| Ah, nice, I'll be able to watch that live too. Tidy. Hoping for another good conference from MS - last year's was good. |

| Yep, last year they had the best showing, not necessary the best games though.
This year as someone that now plays 90% Xbox One X that I'm excited on what the Xbox Game Studios are doing but likely too little too late for this gen though as I can see the Scarlets being the centre of the show. |

| Oh, I'm definitely expecting some Nextbox news - I hope they've got some killer game announcements to go with it, though. |

| Killer game announcements, I'm not sure about all the studios and likes of obsidian are developing outer worlds which is multiformat.
That a new IP from inXile isn't quite the same as one from Naughty Dog or Nintendo EAD for instance. |

| That's fair - I suppose they could load up with some big multiplatform announcements and with Sony not turning up at E3 this year, that could very well happen. |

| Yep I agree on that and could see Cyberpunk turning up for instance but doesn't get me to buy a Scarlett. |

| Nintendo Life just published a great big Switch (and other platforms) E3 leak on their front page, as have other sites. It's an exciting one for me in particular, but I'd rather have found it out through the conferences as intended (although the publisher didn't help itself by having a major IT screw-up by the sounds of things). For everyone else: be careful, lads. |

| I've managed to avoid anything from Nintendo's conference, but Bandai Namco's entire line-up was leaked before E3 which did suck as it lessened the impact of seeing GRRM and Fromsoft collaborate together. |

| - Referring to Jay's post:
Yep, that's what I was talking about. There's a game in there in particular that I would have loved to have seen announced fresh at E3. - No seriously, look away now:
Ni No Kuni on Switch is still golden either way, mind! I might actually give it the time it deserves now!

| I figured spoiler boxes were redundant in here considering the nature of the thread. Still, I concur with your point about that pending announcement. |

| That's a odd one as it's Namco and wasn't at Xbox like all the rest and surely better place to announce because remaster and not port like Switch. |

| There have been a couple of Capcom 'leaks' recently. Truth be told they look a lot like fake news to me, but there's one thing they have in common... - Spoiler:
Both of them suggest a Great Ace Attorney collection coming to Switch. As a big fan of the series who's sick of seeing the first three games rehashed again and again, for all that I can kind of understand why, this is top news... if true, natch.
Hm, this gives me an idea for a thread... |

| Does seem to be real'ish like I know capcom like to re-release Street Fighter but having Street Fighter VI then Super then Turbo Hyper Mix 352/8 HD all listed seems a bit fishy
Like it's the truth but exaggerated |
