| If I'm at home, in range of a mains socket and in the right lighting, I enjoy the 3D, but when I'm gaming on the go or out and about I tend not to bother.
The best 3D, for my money, was MGS3D. Crawling through the bushes felt ace. |

| I use the 3D on when it's in the afternoon. |

| Paranormal Chaos was hard? Oh. I didn't have any trouble at all with that (after I remembered to upgrade my Poltergust).
Almost there now (I think), and as it stands the second mansion is still my favourite by quite some distance. The fifth mansion feels a bit... bitty, and that boss involving the train was annoying.

| Tonight, if the odds are ever in my favour, the second mansion should fall. My current rate of play is one mission a day, which suits me fine. Still not as into this as most of y'all are. |

It's already out in my day. I mean the other Luigi one. Wait... your talkin' about Luigi's Mansion 2 right? |

| I finished this yesterday! Despite a few gripes, I can happily confirm that this has replaced Star Fox 64 3D as my favourite 3DS game, and the cinematic at the end even brought a tear of joy to my eye.
Wonderful stuff. For now, I'm sticking it on my shelf, as I intend to return to it and improve a few scores in the future. Games as good as this deserve to be savoured over time. |

| - Spoiler:
I want Luigi to use the Polterpup as a special move in SSB4. Or Mario Kart 8. Basically I just want the Luigi/Polterpup dynamic to return. Adorable, it is.

| - Spoiler:
Polterpup is an adorable fellow. Heck, so are the Toads, and there was something very endearing about seeing the Professor Pixelshift himself into the stage for the finale. Is it just me, or do the ghosts look a bit freaky with their pupils in place?
I'd love to see another game in the series, though I'm not sure how they'd stay true to the Luigi's Mansion vision without it feeling a bit samey. The basic levels did start to overlap a bit as the game progressed (not a complaint; more an observation). |

I think it's just the effect of spending the entire game looking at ghosts without pupils. They were fine at the beginning.

| D'awwwwwwwwwwwww!
Has anyone snagged all the gems yet? Some of those bonus rooms could persuade you to throw your 3DS at a wall with how they're placed often quite late on in levels. |

| You mean the last gem on level 4, right? That was a pain in the behind. I do have all the gems, but I'll admit that I used a guide for some of them. |

That's the one! The worst thing being that one moment of hesitation in those timed rooms spells failure. |

That's the one! The worst thing being that one moment of hesitation in those timed rooms spells failure. Not keen on the timed challenges either. I almost had a panic attack in the fifth mansion because of the timed element of the coin collecting. Luckily I managed to get all of the goodies first time round, but if I'd had to do it again I would have had to return many times as I end up thinking about it too much! |

| Paranormal Chaos did that to me a bit. The time limit suddenly appeared and I all like "Noooo! So many rooms to visit! Aargh!". Good job the Super Poltergust was up to scratch, or that level would've been very frustrating. |

| Ever so slowly making progress. A few nights ago I decided to go back and grab all the Boos from the first mansion, after I realised that you could get a bonus mission for doing so! I got that bonus mission last night. It's starting to grow on me but it's been slow about it. |

| I must admit, I haven't played any of those bonus missions. I hate high-score challenges. |

| I put this down after I finished it and am yet to return. I like to have a spell away from a game I've very much enjoyed.
This policy is still in place with Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective. |
