It's a real shame Stu feels the place isn't for him as he last time he made a appearance which was around this time of year, retro and a few older posts came back to life thanks to him.

Yep, I voted for Stu because when he came back last time he injected the forum with a lot of life. I do miss the chap.

Wait a second......since when did Stu say he didn't wan't post here any more? If he is busy with other things (which he clearly is) then that's fair but even if it's true then I see no issue voting him or any others as most missed.

In researching the introduction to this award, I discovered that it was Steve Allen (and not Mel Brooks, as I had originally thought) that said "Tragedy plus time equals comedy". I hope these forumites have not had as much tragedy in their lives as their level of hilarity would suggest.

Finally, no editing that involves spoiler tags! Ruddy things. Anyway, here are our desires for the New Year, laid bare for all to see.
Your GNew Year's Resolutions(5 contributors)
"1) To experience new things. (Why not vague it up a little, there? - Ed)
2) To get my unbeaten Wii game total down to single figures. It's at 13 at the moment, which is bad enough as it is."
"To browse the forum less at work. "
"1) Try to be more active and involved with this forum."
2) Get a Wii U
3) Get a better job"
"Post more, as always, especially in the last game I've finished thread."
"To become a better musician and provide vocals to traditional and video game arrangements/remixes. I have set myself a target of at least 20 projects."
I say, I say, I say
Spoiler:
The number of people filling out this part of the award voting form exactly halves from last year. Mathematically, that can't happen next year! As last year, a nice mix of self-improvement goals and posting more. Can't argue with that!
This evening - the final award will be presented. Keep checking the skis!
...
Er, skies. I meant skies.

@Andy I never felt you bullied me on the podcast just that you've got normally wrong opinion on games but some times we agree like with Destiny that time or less they mean when I try to host.

Aw, thanks for the person who voted for me. That's all I got really - I ain't pretty. I just always assume I'm less well know than Rad Mobile.
(Also, more srs - sorry I didn't contribute to the votes. The honest reason is that with e.g. the extra intensity of my job, I have trouble remembering what happened within a year, and I wouldn't have been able to vote properly)

"I've had to go for our two admins here. Working tirelessly to keep GNamer amusing, running and full of good chat. Even as much of the conversation drifted to Nontendo, and away from their interests, they kept the threads coming and were such good company I wanted to find things to talk to them about even as I killed things for their souls and shot all the men in space."
"He's always here posting something, despite only being an active Nintendo player, I wish I had the thoughts to post this much and with the quality he brings."

"Enthusiasm to spare, and clearly has an admirable determination to make this a better place."
"Never mind that he created my favourite thread this year. Or followed the Wii U voting thread despite not owning the console. Or has the third highest post count, despite missing a good chunk of last year. I'm voting for Jay simply because there's no one on the forum I'd rather meet for a pint down the pub. Great chap, great posts, great all-round."
And the winner is...

"For the second year running - you, Votemeister General! One of the nicest most level-headed people to grace the forum, always on point with the quality posts and threads and votings. An engine room for ideas behind the scenes as well. DIGRESSION ALERT: Top man."
"Zero is a shining example of how to be a forumite - ridiculously well-mannered, always enthusiastic and contributes loads. The Admintendo I did with Zero was such a joy to do as he made it so easy to chat about games with himself. He keeps this place bounding away throughout the year and I'm looking forward to seeing more of the same from Zero in 2016. He's GNamer's ever-optimistic ray of sunshine."

Think of great GNamer moments and a plethora of Drunka's posts - be they drunken abominations of the English language or the quality insights he has into dem games - come to mind. Not only is he an effortlessly funny chap, he keeps this place ticking over with his contributions. I loved taking part in Secret Santa for the first time this year, and it's all down to Drunka's stellar work there. Top lad!"

Oh, gosh. Huge thanks to everyone who voted for me: you are all very kind and I am chuffed that you think so highly of me. In true teacher fashion I've got to say that I feel that everybody is Forumite of the Year, because it's all our contributions that make the place what it is.
Also, agonised over officially awarding Drunka the Bronze Medal because he is very much good for it. Stupid dedication to maths and such. Let's just say that if anyone sees him sneaking out the door trying to hide under it his suave and debonair smoking jacket, it's all good.
With that, the 2015 GNamer Forum Awards ride off into the sunset, their work done and the village safe from the bandits. Massive and genuine thanks to everyone who voted - I've had fun getting everything together and I hope that you've enjoyed looking back over the forum and gaming highlights of 2015. Here's to making 2016 an even better year!
