| Slept and pigged out on crisps and chocolate. I've had such a tiring week thanks to having an internal job interview for a new role and other extenuating circumstances, so I needed a day just to sit and do absolutely nowt. |

| I had a nice lie in (this was my first sober day off in two or three weeks), then I did a bit of shopping then I've had a big tidy up. I've done washing, rearranged some shelves (which involved transforming a whole load of transformers which I turned into trucks a while back) and got the Christmas tree down from the loft.
Now, I'm not saying I'm gonna put the decorations up yet, but it felt like it made sense to grab them while I had a day free and take stock. |

| There's something so therapeutic about giving the place a good tidy sometimes. It's grand procrastination as well. On the subject of which, one more thing I did: after having wiped off what looked like a condom wrapper, but left a red stain on my window, today I stretched out of the window next door and gave that area a good clean. Trouble is the rest of the window now looks filthy in comparison, but it's better than it was. Who throws a condom wrapper out of the window? |

I end up procrastinating when I need to tidy up, so it's probably not the best source of procrastination for me. |

| I wish it worked like that... but it never does. Still, today I actually got round to doing both tidying and other things I needed to do, so it's been a strangely productive day for me. |

| I woke up today and realised we're less than two weeks out from the latest Pokemon game, deciding to get my pre order in. Then I remembered I live in a town in the middle of nowhere where the only video game store shut down a year ago. Moral of the story? Being in a country town sucks for internet and it sucks for shops. |

| For the most part I agree (I live where they filmed Hot Fuzz) but we do have a really nice little independent game shop, thankfully. |

| I live in a country town that had a game shop years ago then the son took over had all these plans and it went tits up, this is before I moved here but did have dealings with them when we had a shop. Also my mate opened one at one point as well in town but wasn't around long. I always think about opening one especially when I was unemployed but...
10mins up the road in the county town of Somerset we have GAME, HMV, Pink Planet along with a load of supermarkets but nearly all of them are expensive that most of my game buying is done online for new and if I had open the shop then there is CEX along with Game & Pink Planet that do used, so it would be hard to compete as what's a 10min bus ride.
Then a few others about as well we have one of the same independents as Drunka but that's about 20mins away from me with that same town having a GAME for new then quite a few places for used.
Loads more as well if you want to travel and I may do that this week on holiday go to the the county town of Devon as there is a cool retro game shop but this is like a 40min drive away.

| Hi everyone, if I seem a bit off or not around as much it's because my 15 year old dog had to be put to sleep yesterday because of cancer. |
