Looking the best videogame ever made. I am so excited, you have no idea.

Does look great, not to sure on some of the locations but still hyped.

Thoroughly impressed with all the new games tonight, I want this very muchly. Shame need to wait for Christmas, I'd have liked this to be on March 3Rd.

Between Zelda, then Mario Kart and Skyrim shortly after, and anything else on Switch or Nontendo, I'm happy to wait until Christmas when I can give Mario my full attention.

Luigi is going to close out the game with a cheesy light rock song and there'll be an interminable fishing bit with Toad.

Talking about real games though, this is obviously going to be up there with Zelda for GOTY contention. Gorgeous looking hub-world, terrifying sentient cap, a TOP HAT SHAPED AIRSHIP... and come on, it's more Mario! What's not to love?

Donkey kong has also had a name change which is: Big the monkey.

This actually looks better than Sonic Mania and Yooka-Laylee.

I - yes. My highlight of the whole presentation.

It's crazy thinking we're getting a proper Mario and a brand new Zelda in the same year. That'd be a stacked year for Nintendo any year, let alone one in which they launch a new console.

When you think of it like that, it's honestly crazy that people are throwing any shade on this console - unless, like Cappa, you're not into one or other of those franchises. (If you've not owned a Wii U or like JRPGs, even crazier.) Thing will pay for itself damn soon.

It's the kind of thing they needed to do: a clean break from both the Galactic and the New. Mario getting to carry his own platform with him in the Minish Mario Cap feels like it could be brilliant. I'm mad keen to get my white-gloved mitts on this... just so you know

That's what 3Ds Land and World felt like they were lacking. The gameplay was fun, but the level architecture was all very bog-standard Mario, whereas just in the small clips we've seen of this the worlds are much more vibrant and alive looking. Gonna be grand, no doubt about it.

Not that's interesting - that's a complaint I wouldn't have thrown at 3D Land and 3D World - given there were 4 New Super Mario Bros. games with the same rigid world structure, I lowed the fact that World 1 wasn't really a "world" - it was just the first set of levels before a boss.
