The GNamer Forum Meetup 2: Let's Meet Up Again

As I am determined to meet Cappa, I'm thinking we should head for Newcastle again (well, Big Newcastle, at least ). If it's to be in May, I should have no reason to arrive late like last time. The only thing I want to make sure of is that we don't go back to that bizarre curry house.

I'm up for heading a bit further south, more to try and meet as close to half way for our more southern forumites. I wouldn't say no to Newcastle again though, sure, but I'm up for anywhere really!

We seem pretty decided on the month, so let's talk exact dates.
Assuming that, sadly, my job situation remains unchanged I can make any weekend in May but the first weekend, the 6th and 7th, would be first choice as it is a payday weekend and subsequently the one weekend of the month I can guarantee I won't already have stupidly blown my money. The longer we take to decide, the more chance there is someone else will book whatever weekend we pick and I'll have to beg, borrow and steal.

I presume we're doing Nyucassle again? Partly because, after this weekend, I want to revive it as The GNamer City (not The Insurance City); and partly because that's how we'll get C***uccino Kid along.

I've gone for the weekend we're all targeting anyway. Newcastle United are at home to Barnsley on that weekend, so there might be a bit of extra competition for hotel rooms. No pressure!

Any time in May's good for me, so I've not voted.

Knew I should have mentioned that weekend, would most likely be bad for me as it's the girlfriend's birthday on the 3rd so 6th/7th will most likely be when we do something (although I can maybe try and sway for the weekend before). Any other weekend should be ideal I'd think.

Maybe we need a spreadsheet or whatever it was like last time.
