| I'll start doing the whole journey narration thing again soon. I've forgotten a fair bit of the events up to the fourth gym though so when I start again I'll start from there.
As for the progress though, currently I'm leveling up a Jolteon. As you may remember I named it Buster II after my departed Luxio at the hands of the evil team galactic (I plan to reap revenge for that) and it's coming along very nicely. I taught it Thunderbolt after grinding for a ton of cash, I also pumped it full of Carbos and that special attack stat raising item, so it's pretty much ready to give the competition the shock of its life. As of right now I have three badges and still only two deaths. |

It's fine, but any chance they could be a bit smaller? |

| I'll give it a try. All I'm doing is screencapping, then using Paint to grab the image and saving it like that. I guess doing something as simple as reducing the window size of the emulator would reduce the size of the image, right? |

| Garry's Pidgeot went down with a Blizzard and he switched to Exeggutor but this time Blizzard missed and Exeggutor did some heavy damage to Airhead with Giga Drain. I switch to Candy Apple and take out Exeggutor with fire blast but then his Rhydon takes out Candy Apple with earthquake. So I switch to Airhead again but my Surf doesnt quite finish off the Rhydon leaving Airhead open for a Takedown. I then bring out Oreo who finishes off the Rhydon with Surf. Oreo and Alakazam were quite evenly matched but he only just managed to beat Oreo first leaving me with only Apple Whip who finishes off the Alakazom This is it, the final battle, my journey is ending the same way it started, Garry's starter Pokemon VS my starter Pokemon Charizard uses Fireblast. Critical Hit. Game over. I got kinda bored towards the end but only because I hate Fire Red/Leaf Green I'll probably try again with a different game soon |

| Ah, so close Gwyn. Still you have set the bar for the rest of us on FR/LG. I also know what you mean about it becoming a bit stale, I always thought gen 1 was my favorite but playing this has changed my mind a little. I particularly like the image with all the sweets on . |

| Yeah, after playing Black and White, FR/LG seems pretty stale. I'm still really enjoying myself with it though. You've challenged the furthest then Gwyn! Still no Nuzlocke victors yet... |

| The Fourth Gym and Beyond
And so I finally arrive in Veilstone City. Immediately something seems off as I notice the Galactic Grunts prancing round like they own the place. I hope that I get the chance to show them a thing or two and move on to the gym, my destination. As much as I would like to attack them head on I simply need to get stronger first, Luxio taught me the fate that awaits those that are too cocky.
So I make my way the gym, and notice Dawn standing out front. She prattles on about shopping when suddenly a large man walks out of the gym singing. He introduces himself as Crasher Wake, the gym leader of the next gym on my journey. He then leaves, presumably back to his gym. Dawn and I part ways and I enter the gym.
Inside the gym is a very literal gym, with punching bags everywhere. I use them to carve a path through the gym leader, demolishing the puny trainers on the way. The gym leader introduces herself as Maylene and we begin to fight. Her first Pokemon, a Meditite, lands a Fake Out which causes my Buster II to flinch. Alas that was the last move she made, as Buster II proceeded to make me proud and one shotting all three of her Pokemon. I grin as I realise that soon we will be unstoppable.
Upon defeat she gives me the badge and a TM, and I leave. Upon exiting the gym I am immediately intercepted by Dawn, who tells me Team Galactic has stolen her Pokedex and that I must come and help her. “What am I, a charity?” I grumble to myself mentally, then realise it’s a chance to smash a couple of Team Galactic grunts and calm down. I head over to the Warehouse and absolutely destroy the pathetic grunts, reminding myself that the commanders are of a different breed and I should not get carried away.
Looker then appears, I quietly facepalm as he proceeds to spout a bunch of drivel about Team Galactic, an organisation he has no chance of stopping going by his conduct. He leads me in to the warehouse, continuing to pontificate, and then points out a HM containing Fly. Finally, Looker did something useful. I take my prize and head off to the next gym.
So, I travel and arrive at the next city the name of which escapes me. I head to the Pokemon Centre and heal my Pokemon, eager to get the gym challenge underway. And so at last, the doors to the gym are before me, suddenly I hear someone running up behind me. I wait for the inevitable THUD. And it never comes. I turn round to see that it is actually my rival. He proceeds to do the obvious and challenge me to a battle after a joke about not always running in to me. I crush him with typical ease, then turn my attention back to the gym. The doors open, and I head in.
Progress: 2 deaths, 4 badges.

| Link to Part III
Part IV: One Fish, Two Fish, Dead Fish, New Badge
I enter Mt. Moon once more. Sven gets nostalgic, remembering the time he spent here as a mere Zubat. I carry on until I reach a ladder.
I descend and find myself in some sort of corridor. Carrying on after a brief encounter with a Paras, I meet my first Rocket Grunt. You strike fear with your strength? Maybe next time you should try striking your opponent instead. His companions fall swiftly to the powerful fury of Esmerelda. Just beyond him, I find a piece of a nearby star. Wondering how this hasn't burnt my hand off, I place it in the specialised container that is my bag.
I move on through the cave, defeating such memorable trainers as a Youngster whose idea of showing off to girls is hiding by a corner, by himself, with two Rattata and a Zubat, in a cave.
I keep going, at one point meeting a Hiker who uses Geodude and Onix. The battle brings back traumatic memories of the moments before facing Brock. Nonetheless, I deliver destruction to all I see with Armageddon on Wings, otherwise known as Esmerelda the Pidgeotto.
I come across something called a "Revive" at one point. I don't like the sound of this necromancy shit. I don't want a team of zombies! I'll be sure to sell it as soon as I can.
Little kids shouldn't be messing about with grown-ups, say you, Rocket Grunt #3? Well, grown-ups shouldn't be messing about with little kids! Trust me, that makes for much worse news!
I meet another Super Nerd, and my heart stops for a moment, but thankfully he doesn't have any Magnemite, so Esmerelda deals out death to his creatures quickly.
I take the Dome Fossil and move on. I arrive in Cerulean, take a northward detour, and, after striking down all those who would choose to challenge me, and look for new friends. On Route 24, a Caterpie appears, and George convinces her to join. Cecilia fills out my team to make six.
I continue to the next Route. Unfortunately, however, the first foe to arrive is a Weedle. Frederick is already a well-established member, and I have no desire to replace him, and no need for another Beedrill. Nonetheless, I suppose that I'd better capture him.
George scratches the foe, but when the response is a poison sting I suddenly remember that I have no more Antidotes, having used my last on the bridge. Thankfully, George is not left poisoned, but I figure that it's now too dangerous - if I throw a ball and fail to capture, George may well be poisoned, and he would surely die before I could get him back to the safety of the Pokémon Centre.
That is not a risk I'm willing to take.
Friends take precedence over potential friends. The foe must die.
George finishes him with an Ember. I do some grinding, and Esmerelda becomes a Pidgeot. Armageddon on Wings just got a lot more Armageddon-y. I go to Route 4 to find my final potential partner of the area. I meet a Spearow, whom I name Olivia and send to a box. She's a higher level than Cecilia, but I already have quite an excellent Normal/Flying thing going on with Esmerelda, and I see no need to add to it.
I head to the gym. Now that Esmerelda's a Pidgeot, I figure that I should take Misty down and carry on. All of the Pokémon in there go down in a single turn. Misty's Starmie was, admittedly, probably strong enough to survive the turn, but for the chance critical Esmerelda hit it with.
I continue on my merry way, with one more badge glittering brightly. I finally get around to grinding Juliet up, and she becomes a Primeape. I clear the Route, experiment with Bill's cells, recover some stolen property and decide not to return it, and head to Route 5. Let us see what transpires here.
Here, as it happens, I find a Meowth, whom I name Virginia when I capture her. I use the PC in the Day-Care to replace Cecilia the Caterpie with my newly-acquired feline friend, as I assume that I'll get more use out of her.
I go underground, return to the surface, and defeat all of the trainers on Route 6, mostly with Sven the Golbat. I go down to Vermilion to have a look, heal, and return to the Route that I might find a new friend to carry around. Sadly, it's another Meowth, but I decide that I'll catch it anyway and so Bertrand is sent to the PC. He's a higher level than Virginia, but she's found, or stolen, a Nugget for me, so I figure that she's good luck.
I receive a free bicycle for humouring an old man, and head East. To Diglett's Cave we go!
I enter, and run about for a bit. Eventually, I am accosted by a wild... Well, guess.
WRONG! It was a Dugtrio. I had expected something much weaker, but this guy is level 29! Perfect for Surge! I'll just switch to Esmerelda, and...
...
...What?
...I can't switch?
GEORGE?!
It only takes a turn. Fury Swipes, two hits, one of them critical, and George is down.
George. My very first friend in this world.
I can't believe that he's gone and I'm empty inside and it's all falling down and my world is shattered and what can I do and I'm crying inside and I can feel the salty tears staining my mind and EVERYTHING'S BROKEN.
GEORGE.
Next Time: Revenge, Revenge and More Revenge. On a Boat.
Current team (this is an estimate, as I continued straight into Part V and forgot to check my party's levels at this exact time): Esmerelda, Female, Level 38 Pidgeot, Armageddon on Wings Juliet, Female, Level 30 Primeape, Hopeless Romantic Sven, Male, Level 24 Golbat, Eater of Lovers Frederick, Male, Level 17 Beedrill, Whose Drill will Pierce the Heavens Virginia, Female, Level 10 Meowth, The Money-Printer
Requiescant Theodore (Rattata), qui a Squirtulo Rivalis occisus est, Georgeque (Charmander), qui a Dugtrione barbaro occisus est, in pace

Suddenly, I was in an encounter with a Level 28 Dugtrio. I couldn't escape because of its Arena Trap ability, which also meant I couldn't switch out. I nearly lost Jay a good three to four times in that battle, with his health falling as low as 3HP! Luckily, thanks to gratuitous potion use and a lot of Water Guns, I prevailed. I couldn't believe how close I came to losing my very first Pokemon. I'd have been heartbroken if I had lost him, especially to a wild Pokemon. That's not an issue though, so I dusted myself off, and moved on.
Well, aren't you the lucky one? If only I'd been so fortunate as to read this before entering Diglett's Cave myself... |

| I shall start again with Heart Gold this time, gen 2 has always been my favourite, they are the only Pokemon games that added loads of extras without taking anything out, every game since gen 2 has removed as many features as it added which always annoys me. I'll be using an emulator this time as well so I can take screenshots |

| Wow, that is some rotten luck with the Dugtrio, sometimes these games seem to just want to troll the player. Hope the rest of the run is smoother Darunia.
Update for my run, I've forgotten the finer points of the last part of the game and forgot to write it up, so I'll just skip to the next part of the game. However my status is the fifth gym down, really easy for a level 46 Jolteon that has Thunderbolt and Hidden Power Grass (what a stroke of luck getting that hp type was), one shot the entire gym. Chased a pesky cowardly Team Galactic grunt after he bombed the Marsh and beat him, and then saved after Cynthia gave me the medicine to cure the Psyduck blocking the route. Next part should be more lively, as I believe the next bit of the game of note is another meeting with Cyrus. |

| Time for an update! First off, sorry Beemoh, I tried to reduce the size of the screenshots, but I couldn't get them any smaller than they are. Hopefully it's not a huge issue! - Spoiler:
We board the S.S. Anne thanks to the ticket provided to us by Bill. What wonders will we find aboard the cruise ship? I'm certain some of the greatest minds of our time are travelling on its maiden voyage. It seems I thought wrongly. Well, I'm sure that these people are nice nonetheless! Screw this. I'm going right to the captain to complain about the standard of people he's letting aboard his ship! Speaking of the standard of people... and to make matters worse, he wants to fight. Honestly, I was a little concerned about this battle. I didn't know what levels he was packing, and I felt as though my team was underlevelled. Whilst this wasn't the case, we did almost have a hairy battle. I opened with my Pidgeotto, Phillips, and he replied with his own. A battle of Guts ensued, which I easily won. Next was his Raticate, which opened with a Hyper Fang that obliterated half the health of my Pidgeotto. I needed Phillips to take down his Ivysaur, so I gambled. I used Whirlwind, and breathed a sigh of relief when he was forced to use his Ivysaur. I couldn't believe my luck as well when I got a critical hit with Gust. He returned to his Raticate, and this time I swapped out to Masofdas the Gloom. Masofdas easily won, and his final Pokemon, Kadabra, was unleashed. I switched to Jay the Wartortle, and despite Locke's best efforts, he lost the fight. Now, to the captain! Is...is that a euphemism?! Luckily it was not, and with a Cut HM, I departed the Good Ship S.S. Anne and left its crazy inhabitants behind. Now, for the gym challenge. I was quietly confident going into the Surge battle after Dusty the Diglett wiped out his puny gym trainers with little effort. The only concern I had was his slightly low HP stat, but I was certain this would not be an issue. Magnitude hadn't done me wrong yet! He opened with Voltorb, who only got in one Tackle attack before Dusty wiped him out. Next, Surge's Pikachu. Dusty made my day by landing a Magnitude 9, and Pikachu was dropped with one attack. Dusty was going into the final round with almost full HP. This could be it! Surge sent out his Raichu, who immediately opened with Double Team. This wasn't a problem, as Dusty's Magnitude connected. However, it was only a Magnitude 6, which got Raichu down to just below half HP. Suddenly, he responded with a Quick Attack and... Another Pokemon lost to the curses of the Critical Hit. I was more annoyed than sad, as I'd envisaged a long tenure on my team for Dusty. Sadly, this wasn't to be. Luckily, I'd had the foresight to teach Sporkhead the Raticate Dig using a TM, and he finished off the battle for me. Thunder Badge achieved... but at the cost of a friend. Looks like we have a goal for next time. The team at the end of today's session. Andy the Beedrill rejoins the team, earlier than planned. I'll level everybody up to match Phillips's level before the beginning of next session. Next time: backtracking and pressing on to Celadon City!

| It seems people have been unfortunate on their challenge while iv'e had my 2 day absence. I have been making some progress of my own as I shall write down here tonight.
Last time I left the one two and three islands behind, returning to Kanto with a goal in mind, defeating Zapdos. I had already visited the power plant before, picking up Zerojones the Electabuzz on my first scout of the area. This time I searched high and low, picking up a few items as well as encountering many Electrodes masquerading as valuables.
I reached Zapdos, not thinking I would encounter much of a challenge and was right to think so, as Zerojones put on an impressive display in an electric showdown with the mighty bird, thunderpunching his way to victory.
With all legendaries available at this time down, I set my sights on Sabrina. In battle I overwhelmed her defensively weak pokemon with Shanks bite attack, coupled with the added levels gained from the islands and Blaine's gym.
Picking up my seventh badge I return to Vermillion to challenge the mystery leader for my final badge before the pokemon league, making my way through the 'ground' type gym beating the many Machoke trainers I arrive at the leader, Giovanni!
Battling with Shanks and Phillips I avoid and punish his Dugtrio, Nidoqueen and Rhyhorns. Making a narrow escape at one point as Rhyhorn attempts a Horn drill on Shanks, thankfully missing. After receiving my badge and realizing that Giovanni isn't really that much of a bad guy, I make my way to the league challenge, but first I must face my rival and overcome victory road.
Meeting Gary, which I could of beaten here at any point in my journey, I have my reservations. His Pokemon are a little more leveled than mine. I make a mental note that level 55 is probably required in the league, and just edge him in a close encounter.
At Victory road I catch my final pokemon before the league. A Geodude which I nickname Jaster. I carry on with my party now replenished to 6, overcoming the various strength sections and finding my way into the league building.
I decide that training is needed to reach 55, a target that I set without any real knowledge of what I will be facing. Deciding that meeting Jaster the Geodude was fate, I teach him double edge from the kind fellow in victory road, taking note of Jasters excellent Rock head ability.
I return to Ciannibar and Pokemon mansion before attempting my final challenge! The Elite 4!
Next time may be my last post on this run.... |

| I've finally arived in Johto after running away from home to live with my mother. Just because my deadbeat father was a terrible trainer and ruined his life all those years ago doesnt mean I will too. Now I need to get myself a Pokemon and start my journey to become a Pokemon master and prove that I'm not as worthless as my father. Well that was easy, turns out some old guy is just giving rare Pokemon away to strangers for nothing. I love this place already. Bumped into some girl outside the old guys lab, she's totally into me. Saw some weird perv staring at the old guy through his window, I'll make a note to avoid this guy in future. Oh crap! I hope he doesnt recognise me and tell my dad where I am. Phew he didnt, and I got a free Pokedex out of it as well. Oh crap, it's the perv again, I knew he would be trouble.I beat him pretty easily and he walked off talking to himself about being the "greatest trainer ever" He "stole" one of the Pokemon that were being giving away for free to random strangers? Sure he did. I'm sticking with my perv theory. Caught myself a Geodude on Route 46, I'm sure Pop Rocks will come in handy in the future What better way to get back at my father than to name my Pokemon after the Pokemon he let die so easily. I wont make the same mistakes as him. Looks like the perv has cornered another old guy, I wonder what I'll get for saving him... A battle. Great, thanks. He didnt put up much of a fight though. Next it's time for me to take on the gym leader. |

| Team Galactic Leader Cyrus
So, after receiving some strange medicine to help some Psyduck, I head back to an earlier area to sort them out. I sighed at the clumsy way they ran once cured of their headaches, and then marched on to complete the task Cynthia had set me.
Suddenly I was besieged by fog. I couldn't see, noise was muffled, and I soon realised I couldn't go on. I headed back, feeling disappointed in myself at failing before I even began. How was I supposed to be able to avenge Buster if I couldn't even deliver something to someone? It was then I remembered talk of a HM called Defog. If I could just get that I knew my path would become clear.
So, I ran over places I had explored in my head, ruling out each of them from a mental list. Eventually I came to two places I had yet to visit, a tower near the Hallowed Tower, and Solaceon ruins. I decide to head to the tower first, and find the place covered in fog. “Ah-ha!” I said, as I figured my HM must be near. I scoured the tower high and low, battled several people in the fog, and found no sign of the HM. I leave for my next destination a little sad that it hadn’t been there, but hopeful my next place would bring me luck.
I arrived at the ruins, and headed in. It was dark, confusing, and eery. Suddenly an Unown leapt out at me, I threw an Ultra Ball and it was mine, my newest partner that I would never use. I called it Typo and moved on. I went deeper and deeper in to the ruins, and eventually struck gold as I found a room full of treasure. I rush over, excited, and find my precious HM Defog. I immediately boot it up and teach Hunter II the move before grabing the rest of the items and stumbling out.
With Defog in hand I march back to the route, and tell Hunter II to use the move. Sure enough the area was left without fog. Smiling I head onwards, battling trainers all the way.
Eventually I arrive at the town I had been told to visit, and head over to an old woman. She tells me there is a strange spaceman standing outside the cave. Tame Galactic! I dash over, and find him threatening to blow the town up with a bomb. I promptly squash him with Torrent and he runs off like the pathetic grunt he is. I smile as I consider the team nothing more than a bunch of weaklings. The old woman comes over and thanks me, before telling me to have a look inside.
I head in and find a painting on a wall, the painting depicts three beings around a ball shaped object. The old woman comes in and explains to me how three beings were once thought to have created Sinnoh, and that another group of three could keep control of them. Suddenly, a voice booms out, commenting on how it was interesting.
Up walks the blue haired man I met at the lake, and at MT Coronet. He asks for some details on the subject along with some strange insane views on life, before the lady tells him nothing. It is then I intervene, realising this man is dangerous. He then turns his attention to me, and accepts my offer to have a battle, introducing himself as Cyrus, leader of Team Galactic!
The first thing I notice is how utterly mad he looks, his eyes boring right in to mine with a force that inspires terror. I realise that this man will not hold back, and will kill without a second though. I bring out Torrent and he brings a Sneasel. I tell Torrent to use Bubblebeam, and am shocked at how well the Sneasel tanks it. Thankfully Torrent tanks Sneasel’s attack even better and after a brief scuffle Sneasel faints. He sends out a Golbat that is also appallingly strong, and the match goes much the same. Finally he sends out a Murkrow, which inflicts a serious amount of damage with Night Shade. Thankfully this activates Brine’s special ability that doubles its power when below a certain level of health and I finally take out Murkrow.
Cyrus remarks on my strength and says it is worthy of note before leaving. I am shocked at how powerful he was in comparison to his grunts, I hadn’t expected him to be that much more powerful. I then also realise all of his Pokemon had yet to fully evolve and I shudder. I must get stronger, far stronger, before I face him again.
The old lady thanks me, then notices the trinket Cynthia had lent me and gives me HM 03, Surf. She then heads on her way and I waste no time teaching it to Torrent before exiting the cave. Cynthia was waiting for me, and comments on how she thought up until now she thought Team Galactic had been harmless, before thanking me and telling me that I should head to the library in Canalave City. And with that, the next stage of the journey begins.
Next time: Canalave City

| My first gym wasnt much of a problem, only needed 1 potion and liquorice evolved as well. when I got outside I got a phonecall telling me to go to the Poke Mart. Oh great I'm now a baby sitter. I knew this free Pokemon would come with a catch. On my way to Union Cave I caught Candyfloss and evolved Humbug, I also started getting all my Pokemon to the same level. Now it's time to head through...*ring-ring* Erm... good to know? Now it;s time to head through Union Cave to Azalea Town and my next Gym badge. Caught myself Gumball the Sandshrew and quickly learned that starting the fight with sand attack was a good strategy. Got through the cave and arrived at Route 33 without too much trouble, next stop: Azalea Town Wait what? My dad told me he destroyed Team Rocket years ago. The one good thing he did with his life and he even managed to fail at that. Great. I arrived at Azalea Town and met some old guy, apparently Team Rocket have been kidnapping Slowpoke and he's going to stop them. I guess I should probably go and help. I guessed right. I told him to keep watch for the red headed perv who's into old guys and headed off to take on Team Rocket. Well that was easy. Oh and look who's suddenly fine now all the work is done. With the next gym being bug type I think Liqourice can take it easily by himself. |

| Time for another Nuzlocke update. Just a short one today though, I spent a long time grinding so I was tired of playing before I made any tangible progress. - Spoiler:
We start off by going to pick up the Flash HM from one of Prof. Oak's lackeys. We'll need this for the upcoming Rock Tunnel. I also trained every member of my team to Level 25 before setting off towards Lavender Town. SHAFT We then proceeded to catch a new team-mate, it's SPL the Spearow. I've already got a perfectly functional flying type in Phillips the Pidgeotto though, so to the box with you Spearow! I met a second Spearow in the grass just outside Rock Tunnel but... Yeah, Sporkhead has an insatiable bloodlust and ripped the Spearow limb from limb. A Raticate's gotta eat. So, at this point, I always seek out an HM slave, because whilst Cut has its uses early-game, Flash is just a terrible move fit for a slave. So, I took a quick trip into the inky darkness of Rock Tunnel to pick up... But, to my dismay... He can't even learn Flash! Regretfully, this means one of my other Pokemon will have to learn it. I got rid of Bullet Seed on Masofdas the Gloom to teach it Flash. Hopefully I pick up a Pokemon I don't plan to use along the way which can learn Flash so I can Move Delete Flash from Masofdas. What is the point in these trees here, by the way? It's always irked me why they are there. In the words of Snow Patrol, LIGHT UP, LIGHT UUUUP. Much better. Next time, Rock Tunnel and Lavender Town (hopefully).

| Ok just thought I would update on my team prior to me actually facing the E4. Which I will begin as soon as I finish this post. The Team: Andyman, the special Primeape! HP: 142 Attack: 133 Defence: 81 Sp.Attack: 94 Sp.Defence: 84 Speed: 129 Moves: Cross ChopBrick BreakOverheatThunderZeroJones, the Light-speed Electabuzz! HP: 134 Attack: 106 Defence: 75 Sp.Attack: 113 Sp.Defence: 113 Speed: 143 Moves: ToxicThunderpunchLight screenThunderboltJaster, The Juggernaut Graveler! HP: 126 Attack: 148 Defence: 151 Sp.Attack: 62 Sp.Defence: 68 Speed: 78 Moves: EarthquakeDouble-EdgeRolloutFocus punchBalladuo, The Nightmare Haunter! HP: 128 Attack: 79 Defence: 85 Sp.Attack: 140 Sp.Defence: 78 Speed: 118 Moves: HypnosisDream EaterShadow BallPsychicShanks, The Dragon-slaying Vaporeon! HP: 218 Attack: 83 Defence: 80 Sp.Attack: 134 Sp.Defence: 123 Speed: 103 Moves: SurfIce BeamHazeBitePhillips, The indomitable Charizard! HP: 157 Attack: 119 Defence: 100 Sp.Attack: 132 Sp.Defence: 124 Speed: 138 Moves: FlyEarthquakeFlamethrowerBlast BurnIn conclusion, I lost! After beating Lorelei with ease I continued on to Bruno where I lost all but one of my pokemon. In a fight I was dominating an Onix Iron tail critical hit Balladuo who I thought could win the battle solo. After felling the Onix, Bruno sends out Machamp and I send out Phillips. After a Bulk up he downs Phillips in one hit with a rock tomb attack, much to my disbelief because rock tomb is awful and he doesn't get any bonus from using it. Sending out all but Jaster to their doom, I finally beat the menacing Machamp with Earthquake. Knowing I was defeated in the next battle I continued on. I defeat two of Agatha's pokemon with Rollout before finally falling to Golbat. Not bad for my first challenge! Although I was feeling pretty confident I could pull it off, and could have to if it wasn't for a vital critical hit, and for a Brick Break that just didn't have enough power to finish Machamp off early. I think I will start anew in Sinnoh. I haven't played Diamond in an age! |
