| I'd forgotten about that! Probably why I never bothered doing it: by the time you're that far you already have a nice enough party of Pokémon. And if I remember correctly, they limit(ed?) the number of Pokémon you can bring over every day... |

Mario & Luigi Dream Team Bros. for £14.70 (with free delivery) on Tesco Direct.
EDIT: Tesco also have a few other first-party games discounted, and are doing a fiver off a thirty quid spend with a voucher. I'm getting Prof Layton & The Azran Legacy, Lego Batman 2 and a 75p DVD for £25.15 - not bad! |

| Some stuff to consider in GAME's clearance sale today, including Sonic Lost World at £15.00, Lego City Undercover 3DS at £20.00 and A Link Between Worlds at £25.00.

EDIT: This has been a brilliant week for 3DS bargains. |

| No bother. Honestly, even if you're not arsed with football as a new 3DS owner I recommend PES 2011 3D at 63p, it's a good demonstration of the hardware. |

| I think you've got to pay over a tenner for free delivery now, right? I'll have a look about Amazon and see if there's anything else I'm needing - 63p is a steal. |

| Here's the deal that's convinced me to get Mario Golf: World Tour:
http://store.nintendo.co.uk/games-3ds/mario-golf-world-tour-bundle/10943862.html
You can then add one of these really smart-looking Mario or Luigi hard carrycases for free to the order:
http://store.nintendo.co.uk/offers/3dsxl-case-bundle.list
In short, you're saving £25 on Mario Golf, a Mario hat and a carry case, putting it down to £34.99. |

| Nice deal - not a Mario Golf fan, so I'll skip it this time. |

| The game and carry case offer applies for the likes of Kirby Triple Deluxe, Tomadachi Life and Animal Crossing New Leaf too:

No hat, but still a good saving to be had. |

| Wow, that Mario Hat offer is certainly one of the best retailer-exclusive bonuses I've seen, especially as that's the hat that used to be on Club Nintendo in the Wii/DS era.
I'm not sure how long these have been up, but Amazon is selling a few quality first and second generation 3DS games at around a fiver:
Mercenaries 3D at £5.54 this time of writing: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Resident-Evil-The-Mercenaries-Nintendo/dp/B004JHY416/ref=pd_sim_vg_h__3?ie=UTF8&refRID=01F3T0CXB7BSV8BDX2N1
Steel Diver for £5.30: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Nintendo-Steel-Diver-3DS/dp/B004JU0DSG/ref=pd_sim_vg_h__4?ie=UTF8&refRID=01F3T0CXB7BSV8BDX2N1
Dead or Alive Dimensions for £7.70: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Dead-Alive-Dimensions-Nintendo-3DS/dp/B004JU0DRC/ref=sr_1_7?m=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE&s=videogames&ie=UTF8&qid=1409601502&sr=1-7
New Art Academy for £7.01: http://www.amazon.co.uk/New-Art-Academy-Nintendo-3DS/dp/B008EH5I5S/ref=sr_1_12?m=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE&s=videogames&ie=UTF8&qid=1409601502&sr=1-12
Freakyforms Deluxe for £7: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Nintendo-Freakyforms-Deluxe-3DS/dp/B008EH5ICQ |

| The Mario hat that came with that Nintendo offer was rubbish - really shoddy stuff, I'd have sent it back were I not moving away the same week. The carrycase goes some way to making up for it though.
~
I like FreakyForms at £7.00, even if the inevitable FreakyForms Deluxe Deluxe is on the way for Wii U (which it surely is). |

| Me too, though I have to wonder how many people have it set as one of their StreetPass games as I thought sending and receiving creations was what made the game for me!
That's a shame about the hat, I might make a "tat" thread since videogame-related tat seems to have become very prevalent nowadays, particularly with all the limited editions and retailer-exclusive pre-order bonuses going around thinking about this.
So I'm guessing the hat isn't the Club Nintendo one? Which was really well padded and felt fairly weighty on the head. |

| I see that GAME (in-store) are advertising an extra 20% trade-in value on 3DS games handed in towards Super Smash Bros. 3DS. I don't think GAME's 3DS trade-in prices are generally that bad - it could be an opportuinity to punt some of your older stuff... |

| It will be - there are about six completed 3DS games in my drawer, just waiting to be traded in towards something - so thanks for that, Cap! |

| Hmm that's very tempting, might have to cancel my pre order and head to GAME first thing on Friday now. Although this could all depend on how much they're going to sell it for to start with. |

| It's £31 on the site so 40 quid? I'll probably pop over to my nearest GAME to check seeing as I don't have a pre-order down yet. |

| Also remember GAME beat CEX by £1, that has been better for me in the past compared to this 20% extra of course you need a CEX within a mile. |

| This seems to have vanished off of the face of the earth: Yoshi's New Island ism £22.98 on Zavvi. Again, with a new account and the discount code WELCOME you can reduce this by 10%. It's not a game I've seen anywhere, or at a discount, so if you're after it maybe here's the place to be buying it.

| Madden NFL - that of the 3DS's launch back in 2011 - is down to £1.98 with free delivery on Zavvi. I honestly didn't find it that bad.
