A rare instance of some deals from HMV.

Firstly, they're selling Disney Magical World for £14.99 new - Amazon's trade-in value is more than this.

Secondly, my local HMV has started doing pre-owned games again, and all of the DS games are 3 for £10. I saw Metroid Prime Hunters and Nintendogs there, but to be fair the rest looked mince.

I don't even know if there's an HMV in Edinburgh anymore - the only one I can remember turned into a GAME not too long ago.

Gutted. I'd make the argument that the HMV and Virgin Megastores that used to be next to each other on Princes St. about fifteen years ago were the best games shops ever.

I think there's still a small HMV on Princes St., but the one by the St. James's Centre shut down. A shame. I'll have a wander up and see if I can get myself some cheap DS games, if it's still there.

It's still there, but the games selection is jobbies. There isn't a basement any more so it's just lumped at the back of the ground floor. Not a very big selection. Half of it is taken up instead with Minecraft and Adventure Time toys (which in itself isn't a bad thing, but disappointing when it's replaced shelf space for actual games...).
