Yesterday I Drank

As in Steve Wiebe of King of Kong fame? Don't think so...

But what does the girl at work you like think of your exploits.

She just finds it funny. We've been messaging pretty well constantly since that night, more than at any other point, which is cool. She said I "wasn't even that bad" and I had to explain that that's because she's used to me.

Yeah, king of Kong Weibe. It's probably not but the likeness is uncanny.

APPLES AND PEARS AND RUSSIAN WATER STUFF WITH RASPBERRY BECAUSE IT WAS CHEEEEAAAAAAPPPP!!

Four pints o' specialist, 6%, tap-with-an-apple-on-top cider, followed by a G&T. For anyone wondering (i.e. none of you), that's exactly two drinks more than I should have in an evening. Still, it's okay - my boss was swaying more than I was at the end of my stay, and I managed not to mention the war. (He's Austrian, so that would have been doubly offensive.)

In my body right now, there's too much to count. My local club has a shot named after a Dunfermline Athletic player who was at his peak ten years ago. It's AMAZING.

You know what's making this all better? The fact is a reality.

Among other things, a mojito. Mojitos are quite possibly the best drink there is.

I had copious amounts of cider, plus a few G&Ts, at Auto Assembly. Having been away for a few days, I have to ask; what the   is  ?

Couple of Jaeger bombs, bottle of white wine, two pitchers of cocktails, several alcopops, assorted shots, cider and beer.

I was strutting my funky stuff for the reals though.

Today I had two ciders and a bottle of wine. Now I'm at work drunk. Shhhh

No-one will ever know!

Over the past few days - including yesterday, fortunately! - I've been drinking Drambuie in hot chocolate as a nightcap. Not as terrible as it might sound.

I'm not too bad. I've been an odd mix of quieter than usual interspersed with hyperactivity. Nobody would know... If I hander spent the now shift telling people

The day before yesterday, I chanced upon some Peach and Apricot Rekorderlig, as mentioned by Zero on page three.  I expected something sickeningly sweet, and was not disappointed.  Absolutely delicious.

Rekorderligs and Kopperbergs can be really delicious but I can't drink many because they're so sickly. I had the raspberry one the other day and it literally tasted exactly like jammy dodgers.

I don't find Kopparbergs to be anywhere near as sweet (and delicious). They're alright, but I don't find them anywhere near sickly.

The sweetness scale seems to go Bulmer's non-apple < Kopparberg <? Belgian fruit-beers < Rekky < most cocktails.
I love cocktails, me.  I may have said this before.

Not so much the standard apple ones but some of the other flavours.

Today I drank a pot of tea.

All well and good, but my Mac's keyboard decided that it wanted to partake too. Unfortunately, it turned out to be allergic to tea, and contracted a rare condition known as "Shiftkeyalwayspresseddownitis". Had to rush off and buy a £40 keyboard from the Apple store as a short-term fix.

I'm now in the Drunkalilly position. It was all imbibed at the team's Christmas lunch, though, so there's very little chance of people not knowing.

Not yesterday, but New Year's was perhaps the worst I've been in a long long time. I had to be let into my flat by a friend because I couldn't open the door, and I smashed a near full bottle of Jack Daniels trying to fiddle with the lock. Add onto that a series of increasingly mortifying pictures going up on Facebook the next day, and the result is just horrific embarrassment. Happy new year.

I think you need to revive the Say Cheese thread and post some of these up there!
