| Following another successful remake of the original Resident Evil, Capcom are reportedly scrapping plans for all future games and are focusing their efforts on remaking the original Resident Evil over and over for the foreseeable future. |

| Much in the vein of Professor Layton vs Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney and Street Fighter Vs Tekken, look out for Wii U's big 2015-2018 release: Resident Evil 1 Vs. Rayman 2. |

Jill rounded a corner, and finally he was there: The Limbless Man. The shadow had been frightening enough but the reality was appalling... and he did not. Stop. Smiling! |

| The infamous JUSTINBAILEY code from the original Metroid is making a comeback this year. The upcoming Mewtwo DLC for Super Smash Bros 4 is rumoured to include a variation of this code. When entered as a nickname, the code integrates the scantily clad outfit from the original Metroid. However, this code is only going to work on Wario. |

| Now that Splatoon is entering the final phase of programming before production, Nintendo are considering a bold genre mash-up for the 3DS. Their next shooter will be in first-person on the top screen but the touch screen will show a match-3 puzzle game, which will be used for replenishing energy and providing buffs. The working title is Resistance Is Few Tiles. |

Rare's major comeback will be with a spin-off of the Conker series, starring the son of everybody's favourite lump of excrement (the Great Mighty Poo), Cutesy-Poo. The game will bear this sticker proudly. |

I was going to find an applause GIF for this, but none of them do this justice. That's not a rumour. Nor was that Nor was... uh, help |

| Have you heard about the Pokémon/Trauma Center crossover? The viruses involved have been dumbed down a little so it's not as hard as a true Trauma Center on a young audience. The working title is Pokémon Snuffle. |

| This is the rumour thread, Balla, and as we all know, GNamer is on the forefront of hard-hitting games journalism.
Speaking of huge scoops, I can reveal today that Masahiro Sakurai of Smash Bros. fame is rumoured to have been shocked at the results of the Smash Bros. Fighter ballot. Instead of hotly tipped characters such as King K. Rool and Wolf and even dark horses like Isaac and the Chorus Men, Sakurai was apparently stunned at the outpouring of support for the inclusion of Tubba Blubba from Paper Mario, Colin from The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess and the runaway favourite at this time, Game Boy creator Gunpei Yokoi. |

| In other SSB4 news, Nintendo and Capcom are rumoured to be offering custom moves as DLC. For the low low price of £4.99, you'll be able to buy the Cap-Pack, containing a hadouken (Mario, B+>), a Phoenix Wright-style "Objection!" (Luigi, B+^), and a Final Smash for Mega Man where they cancel a game and everyone drowns in fans' salty tears.
Namco, meanwhile, are offering Voldo costume DLC for all characters. |

| The orchestrated, ‘Big Band’ approach heard in Super Mario 3D World and Mario Kart 8 is set to manifest itself further into Nintendo's rich history, as the company looks to launch another Wii U remaster: The Legend of Zelda: Saxaphone of Time. |

| A sad rumour today - Nintendo are allegedly scrapping Splatoon. Emails between game director Tsubasa Sakaguchi and Shigeru Miyamoto have revealed that Miyamoto considers the playable Inkling characters to be "fucking unmarketable" and that he wants the game reworked to have Cat Mario as the playable character, stating in a later email that Cat Mario is "the motherfucking future of Nintendo". |
