SPLATFESTS - The End Has Come

I've put my thoughts in video form because I'm trying to make this "a thing".

Don't think the irony of you opting for audio-visual rather than text form, shortly after voting for books, is lost on me sir.

I am enjoying "the thing". Long may it continue!

I've fallen out of touch with Splatoon 2, although I did love the atmosphere the Splatfests give out. I'd actually have trouble with this one, as I don't like watching films and I don't read that many books.

I've gone for comedy. How can you live in this world in the year 2018 and not laugh at it?

This is more difficult than I was expecting but I think comedy just shades it. But my beloved superheroes... :torn:

If Drunka is doing his video or soemthing then I'll go comedy but I'm more abut action.

Comedy all day every day. Dudes need to do more than beat up other dudes to hold my attention. My favourite superhero films are the ones that focus on the interactions between characters, and (yes) are funny, rather than just have lots of beating up.

Yeah, comedy. "Action" seems a bit embarrassing at my age...

Sorry, I've been neglecting this thread lately but the newest Splatfest is pretty hype: a tournament to choose the best Ninja Turtle!



We've got Raph v Leo, then Mikey v Donny, then we'll have a finale!

Obviously the discerning choice is Donatello, but for now we've got Raph and Leo.
I like Raphael but the whole thing where he leaves the group in a mood, comes back, learns about family blah blah blah gets boring when they do it over and over with each new reboot. Yawn.

So Leonardo for me.

Are those designs from a new Turtles cartoon or something? Not a fan.

The correct choice is Raphael because I am an angsty edgelord parody of myself.

Yeah it's for the new show. I didn't get around to any splatting yesterday and doubt I will today but I would have gone for raph and I hope they have a 3rd place playoff.

Don't worry Mas; you can pick a side now, but the actual Splatfest matches don't start until next weekend.

I made the same mistake and checked back numerous times until it hit me.

I reckon I'm with Marina with this one. If I want juice, I want juice. If I want a smoothie, or y'know, an orange, then that's what I'll have. Pulp is just thrown in there to fool you into thinking you're not buying corporate chemicals farmed on some unsustainable plantation using slave labour. There is no ethical consumption under capitalism, and if you want a glass of sugar just enjoy it.

Conversely, I'm Team No-Pulp for a far simpler reason in that I hate picking the bits of pulp from my teeth. Smooth and tasty is the way.

Does anyone actually like lumps of pulp in their juice?
