I'm really torn here cos, like, the Wii U had Twilight Princess, Wind Waker and Breath of the Wild but are any of them really Wii U games? BOTW is the best game ever but I never played it on wii u and i understand its better on Switch.

My rule was that if I'd played it on the Wii U, it was in. Andy? D'you want to weigh in?

I did bring that up about BotW but like Zero I went for games I played on Wii U which gave me two of the three Zeldas and those have been improved for the system.

If I was doing best games on Wii U and had to recommend it to someone that has never played a games console then things like Mass Effect 3, BotW, would get recommended. Said similar in my Switch review of Oxenfree and if we where doing a PS4, Xbox One vote or what not where would you put likes of The Last of Us or Halo.

I guess if you look at PC gaming where almost everything can be played you'd vote for the games you played, not what you know are good games.

Ultimately if I have fonder memories of a game on another platform I find it naturally falls down the ranks a bit, so I just say leave it up to your gut instinct. For me I had a great time replaying TP, so that in theory could qualify, but in the past I've placed a couple of votes for multiplats that I know I would have that high if I had played on WiiU.

I voted for WWHD, which I've played on the Wii U; and TPHD/BotW, which I haven't. However, I left my retail vote to games I've not played anywhere else, to try and introduce some spice to the retail/total differential.

There I got my votes sent over, didn't go in depth too much but pleased with what I did come up with.

That's me up to 8 including myself, hoping we'll see 1 or 2 stragglers. Keep them coming!

And that's the last vote I expected, in, to reach a respectable total of 10.

I'll be totaling it all up over the next couple of days and be back soon with some results.

If there was a a worst game vote, then I might have remembered but that has the problem Balla brought up that the worst game most would have played would have still been half decent compared to Game Party.
