Podcasts jabs aside - my desire to edit a 3 hour podcast with 7 audio feeds (one or two of which are somewhat broken) is incredibly low - I'll have a look on Wednesday night if I'm not recording Monster Mash or on Thursday night.

Like I said though, if anybody else has free time before then, then please have a look and post up decent looking hotels/Air BnBs.

If you wanted to keep the forum entertained in the meantime, you could edit a two-hour podcast with two audio streams instead.

I've been wanting that one for ages and more excited for the VS Casts going forward especially over the GOTY Cast is 5 months old at this point.

It's not just you Balla, don't worry. Bit of a tall order going for a 7 man cast - lessons learned.

As Mash seems to be delayed for this week, I'll have a gander tomorrow for places in Manchester if we're all still fancying it.

As promised, check out here and here - might involve a short train journey from the city centre, but otherwise they look decent. Should work out at roughly £65 each for a weekend stay or a bit less for the Saturday/Sunday.

I'm going to say I'm not going to make it as the holiday I asked for weeks maybe even months ago has been declined. That you could move to the 14th of July if better for you peeps.

I can now only make this one out of the two - please don't change it now! If y'all are happy with one of those, I'll nail down my booking nearby.

What are folks thoughts on the air bnbs? I'm happy to book one of the two as soon as, so long as people can reimburse me their share before the meet-up itself.

That first air bnb looks the best as it has plenty of space and a much better sleeping arrangement, I could probably give you cash at the end of this month unless that's too late.

The first one looks cracking. I've also been reliably told that the Northern Quarter of the city is a good base if we're hitting the town, but the place on the outskirts sounds like it's well-connected anyway.

Don't worry about getting it to me sharp or anything Jas - I'll just need it for the event at least for some spending money when I'm down there.

I'll wait till Balla and Andy chime in, but if they're keen for the first one then I'll request it as soon as possible.

Ahh I think I misread that a little as I thought you were needing the money so you could book it, if our train journey's sync up again I could always square you up then.

As mentioned, I'll probably just stay somewhere nearby, unless it's going to make it a real bastard costs-wise for the rest of y'all. I know it seems snobby: it's more just that I get very very antsy if I struggle to get to sleep (because, say, people in the same house are busy having a grand time). I'd rather make an arse of myself now than do so on the night!

I'll have a look for other places tomorrow or I'll have a closer look at that first one to see if it's got a single room in it.

Okay, so that first one from before is now booked, but here's a couple more that should work for our arrangements:

One and two.

I can book ASAP if we're looking good - who's keen for the Friday night too and who's just wanting to head up on the Saturday? If there's enough of us down for the Friday night too, I don't mind paying the share of anyone who only wants the Saturday so we can get the Friday arranged too. Thoughts, troops?

They both look all right to me. I think all I'm after is good transport links for going out on the skite and a TV for whatever console we're playing. I'm also up for the Friday night - if you're up for it, I could catch youse (Jay and Jaster) at Glasgow Central, get a carry out and head down on the same train as youse?
