| I didn't play much the previous two days but had a big session today. Like Jay, I enjoy the routine. My project at the moment is sculpting some of my landscape to accommodate for where I would ultimately like to have my museum sit. I have also started broadcasting KK Slider songs across the island in the hopes that my Villagers will learn them and start singing them instead of the standard song some of them like to sing It's hard to compare Animal Crossing to other games. Perhaps it would be best described as a toy rather than a game, but whatever you end up calling it this is a contender for the #1 spot on my Switch list and an easy frontrunner for game thingy on the screen of the year. - Balladeer wrote:

It has to be said, I'm enjoying myself more than I thought I'd be. I wouldn't vote for either of my previous AC games ( Wild World and New Leaf) in the top ten games on their respective machines, and while I don't think ACNH would place either, I'm still having a good time thus far and it'd make my top 25 on the current basis. New things keep happening on the island, one a day, to keep my interest beyond the daily routine. I think the test really will be whether it stands the test of time, but thus far it's a charming little experience - not, as Muss says, maybe a game as such, but an experience on a games console. Let's not pretend it's all improvements though. While I'm not fond of breaky tools or the rather dull islands thus far, the biggest disappointment remains the lack of time-specific tunes. One song all day? |

| It lasted too long and the cherry blossom stuff was much nicer and much more missed, sure, but I still enjoyed it. I'm sure they learnt a lot about what appropriate spawn rates for various things are for next time. I spent this afternoon pimping my town with all the Bunny Day stuff I crafted. It also netted me an S rank on my house because I converted the spare room into a Bunny Day Cave. Also, having a shit load of wood eggs to munch on ( ) is really handy for digging up trees and moving things around your island as you prepare to terraform and such. No, if I had a criticism of the game it would be Isabelle. - Spoiler:
She was very capable in New Leaf, helping you out with ordinances and public works. In this one she lets you change your flag, tunes, and gives you rubbish advice about island evaluations. She doesn't even announce when visiting vendors such as Kicks are in town, only things like fishing events or campsite visitors. I wish they had made her as competent as she was in New Leaf. But if that's my most scathing criticism then this game's doing something right!

| Can I throw in a badly-researched Hot Take? I think we'd be OK with the Bunny Day stuff if it was this time next year. I think the issue is that we've all started playing the game, and want to get on doing the "normal" stuff currently; right now Bunny Day has got in the way. But next year, it might be a refreshing change.
I'm going to upload more codes for cool Jimbob clothes soon, which you'll all love and want to download.*

| Aye, the Fishing Tournament and Bunny Day has prevented me from getting terraforming - should have had it yesterday. Still, the Fishing Tournament was good fun and much more enjoyable than Bunny Day, which became a nuisance far too quickly. I think a few days of Bunny Day festivities would have been more palatable than the close to two weeks that we did get. |

| I didn't even get the Fishing Tourney because my plaza wasn't upgraded yesterday, but having a Fishing Tourney at the same time as Bunny Day when a third of all fish you're catching are eggs seems... foolish. I too have a Bunny Day Cave. I'll be moving it to the back of the house though, so Bill the Snapping Turtle doesn't have to look at all that crap. Still wearing the dress and crown though. The Lady got a coelacanth today. It's been beautifully sunny in my town so far. |

| I've only had one rainy day that I can recall and I didn't even know about the coaelacanth at that point.
Terraforming is a go on my island. I'm still unsure as to what I want to do, but I think I'll start by laying down some paths between my villager's homes. |

| I find it great how everyone seems to be playing this in their own way, as much as I'd say there's some wrong ways to play the game (time traveling in my opinion), the fact that everyone still manages to get something out of it in their own way is the beauty of it, especially with the current situation and the technology we have available. I'm managing to get over the paranoia of whether my Island is as good as other people's and I'm having fun in Hoville for what it is whilst still enjoying all the cool/crazy things everyone else is creating. |

| If it's not a massive hassle you definitely should. Very impressive! I've started raising funds for an incline, but I've hit the 'make your island pretty' stage and I feel like the game's going to hit the brakes for a bit now. Make it pretty!? It's got a kaiju menacing a lighthouse on the beach! HOW PRETTY DO YOU WANT IT |

| Flowers it is. Also: fencing. Apparently Isabelle wants the town to look like a gulag - but a really pretty gulag.
What are people who've already got KK to come to their town focussing on next? Shanks is recreating Pokémon, Jay's putting down paths - what about the rest of youse? |

| Like Jay, I've done some paths but need to do the top of the island along with some terraforming. Also paying of the house, which I think I've got one more upgrade to do which is the basement then I'll start buying stuff for the house. |

| I don't think I'm anywhere near getting KK. I'm just chilling. My house has a nice living room, bedroom and traditional Japanese tea room. My villagers are all good friends. I have a decent stock in my museum and I've had some call chill sessions with friends, both locally and online.
I also may have quite a lot less free time than y'all . . . |

| I've slowed down even went two days without playing and with Final Fantasy VII Remake, I did like 13 chapters in a week then this week I've done 3 more chapters due being back to work.
I've got no idea how I'm going to fit in Persona 5 Royal a 100+ hour RPG. |

| I'm alright for stuff to do after K.K. Slider as essentially I'm a character on my mum's Animal Crossing island. She's always got some sort of project going on. Other than that, I'd better finish my plans to create the biggest BBC Micro-related clothing store the Able Sisters were ever suddenly employed in. Plus also, I'm expecting Nintendo to do flash updates like they did with Bunny Day, and all of a sudden there's a new thing. |

| I missed turnip day! But, I've still got plenty of funds from the last turnip batch, so I think it'll be time to get my island laid out in the way I want it. All the slopes and bridges you can shake a stick at, I think! |
