| (rubs hands in hope of more WTG? enjoyers) (rubbing of hands slows because what if people don't like it and then it looks like I've been lying for over a year)
Nothing on my wishlist has gone down by over 35%, and they're on my wishlist rather than my Switch because I'm not chomping at the bit for any of them. Think I'll pass for now. |

| I've not been brave enough to look... I've spent this year trying to whittle down the backlog. Mind you, I go back to my wishlist often and realise I wish for some stupid shit. |

| I've deleted plenty of games from my wishlist over the years as well, it's either a combo of what was I thinking like you said or reviews show they aren't up to much. |

| My wishlist is larger than it's ever been, and that's still only about ten or so single-player games and five or so to go through with The Lady.
Last time I somehow missed that GNamer favourite FAR: Lone Sails was 75% off, so I snapped that up. Not got far in it mind, I've spent more of my time since acquiring it playing Death's Door. |

| I nearly got both of those! But didn't. Did get that fancy pants new Tetris thing though with the space time dolphin stuff in. |

| Tetris Effect: Connected is really good, as it's got lots of fun modes and it's Tetris. But some of the soundtrack is shit and feels like a poor attempt at emulating Sayonara Wild Hearts.
I bought The Witcher 3 and the Castlevania Advance Collection in the big sale - further contributing to making my Switch backlog completely insurmountable. Woops |

| Tetris Effect was out before SWH and best played in VR. |

| I'm currently playing Beast Breaker, and it might be the What The Golf? of 2021.
By that I mean, an underrated gem that I love, and that's gameplay-focussed enough to appeal to a wider audience on here than There Is No Game or similar. It plays like a cross between pool, Breakout, and an RPG - in that you have to aim your mouse and his projectiles around the battlefield to bounce off the foes' weak spots, doing damage. It's very light and breezy on the narrative side but cute enough, but the gameplay is really too addictive. I haven't been so locked into a game since the week where I played Puzzle Quest before working out that it wasn't that good.
Beast Breaker is that good. Nintendo Life loved it too. Worth a wishlist, I'd say. |

Me reading that sentence: There needs to be an armistice between the eShop and my backlog. I’ve got more than enough unplayed Switch games to keep me going until 2027. |

| I would have thought that the RPG stuff's breezy enough and the gameplay good enough for even you to enjoy it Cappa... but I'm aware that I don't have a 100% track record on recommending you games of late. I have a grand total of five games in my backlog. I'm presuming that's because I'm picky, only own one gaming machine, and give up quickly on games that I'm not enjoying. It's certainly not because the games I play are short... |

| Don't know who'd be arsed but I was looking into an eShop game I'd put on my wishlist, called Stitchy In Tooki Trouble. I'd found a video from its publisher that they'd uploaded last month - it gives away five free codes for it. The video has less than a dozen views, and I just claimed the third code. I'd assume the others probably still work:

| Oh, looks like a neat DKC-a-like. And yep, that 4th code worked. |

| I tried the remaining codes and they did not work, good find though, I'll keep an eye out for it as it looks alright. |

| I'm efficient and already sent Balla my Switch vote, as played the big Jan game and couldn't see anything coming in February at retail for Switch.
Did have a wee look on the eShop coming soon though, a odd thing might be worth a look. Anything you guys have seen to keep a eye on? |

| Nah, not me boss. I'll do what I normally do: blunder into Nintendo Life's list of 8/10s and 9/10s, and come away with two games I abandon midway, one game I give a begrudging 7/10, and one game I yell about at anybody who'll listen and everybody who won't because I think it's the best think since sliced A Hat in Time. |

| Massive eShop sale which I'm having a look on the website (shows 200 less than a Switch) shows quite a few good deals anyone getting anything or recommend? Stuff like Inside seems a bargain, and I'm tempted by Ni No Kuni Remaster then a few others I'm like only £11 for three Naruto games, but you all seen my latest haul of games that really shouldn't be adding more.

| Don't worry about it, anyway I bought a £50 voucher for £45 and got Mario Kart 8 which seems a sensible big game to have as a download, Ni No Kuni Remaster as at £8 I was just too tempting, then the Road 96 as the most Mas choice from the sale. |
