| I gave EDGE a download too, at that price (£1.79), it would be rude not to. |

| Question for all of you - who downloaded the free Tank! Tank! Tank! to try it out? If you did, did it feel like a scam, as it did to me? I downloaded it on the weekend and tried it today, but there is barely anything, if not nothing at all you could do without buying DLC. Forget the multiplayer side of it, as I had no-one to play that with, but on the single player, it seems like a dead end that requires additional cost. Did I just miss something? It happens, I don't always see everything.
On the game itself, I am rather shocked it was a full retail disc looking at it in a cursory way. It just just seemed cheap. No real surprise it only got a 45ish% average review score. Anyway, illuminate me on this if you downloaded it or, horror, actually bought the whole game. |

| I can't say that I felt scammed seeing as it was free. I'm surprised if anyone took offense to it. It's designed to be just a bit of light-hearted, arcadey fun, not as the next Final Fantasy. I really like these sort of games, but in moderation - I wouldn't want a console that's almost exclusively home to this type of game experience.
*cough DREAMCAST cough cough* |

*cough DREAMCAST cough cough* Scammed is hyperbole, but meaning that they draw you in with a freebie, to get you to buy more (probably more than the retail cost was). Of course I can, and will, ignore it and not buy more. I enjoy some arcadey fun as much as the next gamer. I agree that such games are a good thing to have available, but this seemed almost pointless. |

| That's just the free-to-play model of gaming for you. Some folks liked Tank! Tank! Tank! and others didn't. I, like your good self, decided it wasn't worth further investment at the prices their charging on eShop (even when they were heavily discounted on release), but the beauty of this particular example is that it's also out on a disc in the shops for relative peanuts. You don't always have that choice with F-2-P stuff.

| Why the dig at the dreamcast it has loads of quality noun arcade games eg Shenmue II.
Also Tank Tank Tank was a free to play title, what do you want you can play it and if you want to expand the experience you buy extra content.
So oldschool you not downloading the next steel diver then which will be the free to play model. |

I really did quite like what it did and enjoyed it, but I felt it was a good idea that was not full realised. There is a much better game waiting to be had, using the same ideas. |

| Knytt Underground releases 19th December. A really bad time for me, because I'll be about to get my hands on three great games; but I don't want to miss out on this. Is anyone picking it up? |

| Bit disappointed it's the European version of the game. I understand why Nintendo chose the PAL version for ALTTP, but I really wanted an excuse to buy it again. |

| Yesterday I got EDGE. The only judgement I can give after experiencing the first six levels is that it's a bit odd. |

| I also spent a few minutes trying to catch a photo of the lightning lighting up the screen in the first outside section, if we're going for full disclosure. This is going to be worse than NSMBU, it really is... |
