| I still really want to go to it but not bought my ticket yet, some recent unexpected vet bills haven't helped matters. |

| If you're watching the Sky Sports broadcast of NXT Takeover, seems like a match has been cut - a tag match between The Ascension and El Local and Kalisto. |

| It was an okay match, nothing to really write home about - the three advertised matches were the real draw.
Payback was a pretty good PPV all told, right? Thought Sheamus/Cesaro, Cena/Wyatt and Evolution/Shield were the standouts. |

| I thought the RVD & Barrett match was pretty good too but aye loved the whole PPV & more importantly it was good enough to shut up the pro CM Punk fans who seriously just need to let it go, I know you never say never when it comes to WWE but I think Punk is done with wrestling, bar a match with Austin at Mania what else can he really achieve?

In Scottish wrestling news Jack Jester is also part of the PBW event this coming Saturday. |

Them chanting Punk's name during the Daniel Bryan segment was fucking scummy. EDIT: Big Dave isn't happy. Tweeted out his displeasure with #Bluetista and added #WWEJobber to his twitter bio. |

Second legitimate shock of the year after the Streak ending. Never would have said Seth would be the one to turn considering he was the babyfaciest of babyfaces. Dean's reaction of utter shock sold it so well.

| Regarding Payback, while I didn't think the card promised much on paper (on the count that all but one of the matches had already taken place on WWE television within the last six weeks), credit where credit is due: it was all-action. I don't think the roster has ever been as mechanically-sound as it is just now. With time and permission, I don't think there's anybody on the current WWE roster that couldn't go out and deliver a good match. Onto Jay's spoiler... - Spoiler:
It was a bit less dramatic for me watching a video on WWE's YouTube page titled 'The Shield Implodes', but it's nevertheless a surprising turn of events. I don't think too many would have pegged Rollins as the one to turn heel and (perhaps join Evolution) - I thought Ambrose was the most likely. I think 3 Vs. 2 could be an interesting dynamic, or even take Ambrose out of the equation with a storyline injury and have Roman Reigns Vs. Evolution by himself. It's the first interesting direction that WWE has taken in months for sure, though I'm going to miss The Shield's six-man tags now that they're away.

| Six months on, lets take a look at our beginning-of-the-year predictions... - Spoiler:
- The Cappuccino Kid wrote:
CM Punk wins the Royal Rumble and wins the WWE Championship for one last time. Wrong! He gone!
Brock Lesnar to be unsuccessful in his early attempts to win the WWE Championship, but go on to win MitB. Only one month until we find out...
The Shield to break up, with Rollins and Reigns going babyface and Ambrose to be this year's Dolph Ziggler (as in 'sure-fire thing they can't f**k up...only for WWE to go f**k up) Kinda right/kinda wrong
Kurt Angle and Sting to WWE, or at least in the process of finishing up with TNA. Sting is out of TNA, Angle might be soon
AJ Styles to resign with TNA after no serious interest from WWE. No serious interest, but he went back to ROH
The Ultimate Warrior goes into the WWE Hall of Fame. Correct!
The Usos win the Tag Titles at WrestleMania. Almost.
Batista/Cena to headline SummerSlam. Wait and see
Dolph Ziggler leaves WWE. Not yet.
Antonio Cesaro, Damien Sandow and 3MB turn babyface, Christian, Kofi Kingston and Sheamus turn heel. 1/6 so far with Christian
- Spoiler:
- Dusty Knackers wrote:
Sami Zayn to get called up to the main roster, and become United States Champion. Not yet
Shawn Michaels comes out of retirement, and loses his return match at WrestleMania. Wrong!
The Wyatt Family win the Tag Team Championship and dominate the division for the year. Still time.
Rey Mysterio to retire. Not looking likely.
WWE to have a mass clear-out of lower card talent, JTG survives the cull. JTG is still hanging in there!
Big pushes for Brodus Clay, Titus O'Neil, Sin Cara and Tyson Kidd. Still six months to go...
Todd Pettengill to return to WWE. Come on, Todd!
Owen Hart, Rick Rude and Jake Roberts to be inducted in to the Hall of Fame. One of three made it I guess.
Batista to have some forgettable matches. Has been in some pretty memorable matches(!)
- Spoiler:
- JayMoyles wrote:
CM Punk to enter the Rumble at #1, go on to win the whole thing and the championship at Mania. Wrong!
Daniel Bryan will close out 2014 at WWE champion. Still time...
The IC championship will be raised to a similar level as where the WHC was previously, with your Zigglers, Sandows and Rhodes of the world pursuing it. It's kinda getting there
Wyatt Family will dominate the tag team division. Not just yet
US title will be hotfooted around Ambrose, Rollins and Reigns post-Mania, with Reigns getting the Mania win during the Shield's breakup match. The title will be passed to an NXT callup by the year's end, likely Sami Zayn. Wrong on The Shield part
Paige and AJ will spend the summer feuding over the Divas Championship. Could still happen
Kurt Angle will come back for his final wrestling run at WWE. Likewise with this
The yearly cull of lesser talent will include some NXT nobodies and lesser talent like Curt Hawkins, Yoshi Tatsu, Ezekiel Jackson (who is surely redundant now that Big E has been called up). Big Zeke departed, the rest still remain
- Spoiler:
- The_Jaster wrote:
Usos to finally capture the tag team titles. Correct!
Cesaro to turn face & win MiTB. No face turn, but MITB isn't out of the question
El Local (aka Ricardo Rodriguez) to get bumped up to the main roster with a few other luchadors like Kalisto etc to bring back those old cruiserweight title days. Nothing yet

Everyone I said this to so far hasn't believed me but I thought Seth would be the one to turn on the others, Reigns and Ambrose seemed too obvious, I just thought it'd come sooner when he was playing the peace keeper a few months back. Annoyingly though following WWE's social networking accounts ruined it for me, I think I need to either watch shows at the time or just avoid social networks until I do from now on.
I think the moment when Batista quit was the only time I've actually been happy to see him back in WWE.

| Who was it who went on an almighty losing streak after they were caught using a fake walloper in a piss test? I remember MVP losing so many matches and losing his star stature to such an extent that I actually walked past an Argos in Aberdeen where he was doing a meet-and-greet so I could get to Greggs before it shut. |

Manu! He's the reason why WWE employees now have to have someone present when they're giving their urine sample. |

| So that PBW wrestling event was tonight (Saturday) & it was great stuff, the triple threat tag team match was probably my favourite match as it even had a tower of doom spot, I'll definitely be looking to go to more British wrestling shows. Oh also this one kid who was sat just in front of me was going off his head shouting all sorts at the heels all night. (also his pal who was the only kid chanting for Jack Jester was greeting at the end when he lost) --- It was really good seeing Grado (even shook his hand after the show was done) even though he heavily relies on his comedy to get himself over, the main event with Jack Jester was ruined a bit for me as they took it into the crowd & even out of the building at one point where I couldn't see what was happening but overall it was a great event. |

| Glad to hear you enjoyed it too. I know a few other folk who went who are saying the same things. It's a really good wrestling scene up here - a healthy mix of local talent and TV imports both contributing to (what I've heard are) really entertaining shows. Looking at the photos of recent events, it's heartening to see that it's not just the likes of AJ Styles, Mickie James, Magnus and Prince Devitt who are attracting the crowds. |

WWE is having it's biggest talent cull in years. Amongst the casualties are Teddy Long, Brodus Clay, Evan Bourne and two thirds of 3MB.
I think a number of those guys sacked today will find work once their no-compete clauses are done. I could see Brodus Clay heading over to Japan to play the Gaijin somewhere. Tatsu might have some stock over there too. Evan Bourne will be cutting about in Ring of Honor by the end of the summer. McIntyre will be headlining leisure centres all across the Central Belt with Grado and the rest of that mob sharpish.
JTG hasn't been sacked yet! |

| I'm surprised they released most of 3MB. They seemed like a solid JOB Squad. Drew was wasted talent though.
Also, JTG has finally been found backstage... it's over. |

| Aye, The Streak is over... I actually didn't mind JTG all that much as a performer, certainly not as much as others did anyway. So disappointing that Evan Bourne didn't get a chance to redeem himself after his two wellness violations, and the injury hell that he's been through. Would have loved Brodus Clay to have a good monster heel run too, after being stuck with the Funkasaurus gimmick for so long. I really liked his look, looks like a guy who could fuck people up. As for 3MB, I wish more had been done to further that gimmick: show them in a studio "recording" a song, do some Spinal Tap style interviews, stuff along those lines. I like the gimmick, and the fact that they were a bit shite, but I wish more could have done with them. I will say that McIntyre and Mahal were completely the wrong people to stick in that group though, hope the gimmick lives on. As for all the people released, the artist formerly known as Trent Baretta said it best on Twitter: "Fired friends. If you love wrestling you're about to have the most fun ever." |

| I know your not all the biggest TNA fans but it seems a lot is going on at the moment over there. - TNA Reboot:
As we know TNA is being recorded at the moment not live, so stuff is leaking. On the current impact Bobby Lashly won the TNA World Title but that's not all Tommy Dreamer was on it. And I'm not sure if this is real or really good kayfabe, he runs a small wrestling company called house of hardcore (I think) which had advertised the following to be there himself, Rhino, AJ Styles, Bully Ray, Devon and few more which are signed to TNA like A-Double. Dixie then said Tommy couldn't use the TNA talent and there was a huge thing on twitter with him giving Dixie abuse & that she couldn't organise a piss up in brewery let alone a wrestling company type stuff. This led to dreamer being on impact which was meant to be a pipe bomb of some sort but wasn't really.
But since then from the recorded stuff A-Double has won the X Tilte & is cashing in at Destination X on lashly, Jeff Hardy is Jeff Hardy again, Matt Hardy is back & there challenging for the Tag Titles at Destination X (I believe), Rhino is back & is on Dixies side which makes all the above kayfabe but seems a lot of hassle to do so & I'd be a pissed of fan if went to that house hardcore event with half the card missing. Devon is back with Bully. Gail Kim has won the knockouts title, Taryn Terrell is also back. Angle seems to be in charge now & he's brought back the 6 sided ring.
The reason it's being recorded at the moment is TNA is off to Japan and will be having Bound for Glory in Tokyo.
Ohh & Bully Ray is dating Velvet Sky in real life.
