Watching Robocop with the lads on Sunday. Will probably try and watch my blu ray of the original first.

Turns out that Frozen movie isn't bad like people say

Wait. Who said Frozen is bad? I don't remember seeing anybody saying that Frozen is bad. I think that a couple of us have said that it's quite good, actually.

Anyone that says Frozen is bad is clearly mental. It's brilliant!

A couple of people I know said it had one song to many   

I could have done without the troll song, to be honest, but the rest were pretty good. "Let It Go" is brilliant.

The song distribution in Frozen was front-heavy (if that's a word), but that was the only problem I had with it. All good fun otherwise.

Got a lot of time for Frozen, Let it Go has become one of my most listened-to songs.

Just started watching the songs on youtube. I only watched the film a couple of days a go and now I want to all over again. If that's not the sign of a great film I don't know what is!

Tangled is a great movie, along with frozen

Ah. There we are going to have to disagree. I found Tangled, while not awful, to be Disney-by-numbers, with dubious plot devices and uninteresting characters.

I really enjoyed Tangled. I'm not too sure how good it is though as it hasn't stuck in my memory too well. Might be due another watch!

Watched the real Robocop last night, just to balance the fact that the new one exists. What a film!
Once thing I noticed; a lot of characters with penis names. Dick, Johnson, Cox...

Frozen is the second-best animated film I've seen recently.

What's the first? Well, it's The LEGO Movie.

I was initially surprised with the turnout in the cinema (there were 10 people, including me), but it made things nice and quiet.

As for the film: it was wonderful. The animation was utterly sublime, with a whopping amount of detail and everything just looked perfect. There was also plenty of background references, and I'm glad the trailers didn't spoiler all the cameos. On top of that there are loads of nice little touches to the film.

The main characters were also done well, and I felt like Warner Bros did a good job with DCs characters, as none of them felt like product placements and they clearly didn't mind mocking them. I would have liked to have seen one small cameo from a certain set, but that was extremely unlikely to happen anyway. Still, a good mix of new characters and existing LEGO characters (both original and licensed).

There was one point where I was concerned with the direction the film was going, but it was actually handled extremely well, with some great serious moments mixed in with the humour, action and all-round awesomeness.

If I had to sum the film up in a few words, it would be "Everything is Awesome!"

I'm really surprised by all the love The LEGO Movie is getting. I was totally put off after seeing the trailers but everyone is talking about how good it is so I suppose I'll have to give it a shot..

Really? I found the trailer quite funny, in places. Want to see that one.

The jokes work a lot better in the film. It's extremely well paced.

It was a toss up between Lego and Robocop on Wednesday, as Lego does look so good.

I could tell by the trailer for the LEGO Movie that it'd be a good one.

A Million Ways does look fun, but it's so weird actually seeing MacFarlane's face!

Is The Lego Movie out in the UK at the moment? I really want to see it now.
