| I'd prefer an actual TWEWY sequel - a rhythm game would do nothing to placate my desire for a sequel. |

| I'll take both. One of my problems with Theatrhythm is that I don't know or care about half the characters. With a TWEWY edition, I'd know the people I'm playing as. |

| Really don't see it being based on a single game. Surely it's more likely to be Kingdom Hearts, Dragon Quest and at a push Tomb Raider. |

| That new nub looks far too small to be useful for anything. The SNES buttons are nice, though. But what really worries me is this new powerful CPU. Forget the Sony and MS mobs' moaning about the Wii U: this is a half-generation movement right here, like the Game Boy Colour. And like the Colour, it seems like it's going to get games that won't run on its ancestor-by-half-a-gen, starting with XC. Only unlike the Colour, it doesn't have anything over the older console that I'd be interested in uploading for. A little bit of a power increase halfway through a generation, and a shoddy-looking second stick, are not enough to suck me in... unless the games demand them. So, yep. Worried. |

| I would get XL version if I did but I said same thing on twitter seems like the gameboy colour, which fine if it has game's to back it up or previous game's like smash use the c-stick which might look useless but I trust Nintendo that it & the extra trigger feel right.
Also I do & don't like you can custom the small one but not the XL and the name New 3DS (which is done in the style of the amiibo logo) is stupid as it will confuse people. New could mean anything it might just mean new colour, I reckon when it comes to the west in 2015 as were stupid it should be branded as 3DS Advance or something.
But will come down to the game's in the end. |

| This looks pretty nice & probably should have been the first proper upgrade for the 3ds, slightly concerned with how the the c-button will work though as I assumed it was a just a mini thumb slider at first (only seen pictures as I never watched the direct) but that doesn't seem to be the case on closer inspection. - masofdas wrote:

I don't get how it would confuse at all as the term "new" drives the point home that its an upgrade that will have games that wont run on 3ds/2ds. |

| Just had a proper look. I'm absolutely sold; faster, thinner, more powerful, additional control nipple. Again, don't care about sales good or bad, it looks like it will allow me to play more and better games. Ideal.
Agree with Jas that it should have come out years ago. |

| Define better meaning it's got more buttons and more powerful doesn't necessarily mean any game's will be better.
Surely sales do matter as if it doesn't sale why would any one support it with game's with a perfectly good 3ds out there with a huge install base and you'd think they will sit beside each other. Can't see Nintendo just dropping the 3DS. So on the packaging of games it will say new 3ds only or something which to me sounds stupid. People get confused with the 3DS name & WiiU name, this sounds just as confusing.
Here's the trailer for it, c-stick in action |

| He said he don't care good or bad but if there bad means lack of games etc. So surely you would want them to be good, so it gets support just look at the U. |

| The built-in NFC doodah is my reason for wanting this, with the SNES-coloured buttons being a nice, tingly throwback for oldies like myself. The increase in power is a bit murky - good to have, I suppose, but it'll probably end up like Wii MotionPlus, in that few developers will use it. |

Then kinda no point of having one really as there still doing that portal of power type thing for ammibo unless they don't and you have to get a new 3ds to use them as Nintendo could make all the ammibo games exclusive to new 3ds. |

| If there's not an influx of new games taking advantage of the increased power - and I'm guessing there won't be considering publishers would rather sell to the already installed userbase - then I can't see me getting this. |

| If I remember correctly I did see somewhere that there will be maybe not an influx as such but there will be a few games that will be "exclusive" to the new 3DS |

| MM3D would make buy one maybe and would make sense why it's so long to come out. But I can't see Pokemon GEN 7 being exclusive to new 3DS maybe runs better on it like gold & silver did. |

| Hmmm... I might upgrade to this. I've got a Gen. 1 3DS, which is to be honest, mega-uncomfortable. I can see the XLis a massive improvement aesthetically as well as ergonomically, but I couldn't justify upgrading for the sake of this, with no extra gubbins. This however... maybe. May...be... |
