EDIT: Yup, they're already out there: http://www.itv.com/news/2014-03-19/that-shapps-tweet-and-the-parodies-that-followed/ This says it all, doesn't it? "The Thick of It co-writer Simon Blackwell tweeted: Genuinely, if that Conservative beer & bingo ad had come up at a Thick Of It script meeting we’d have rejected it as being too far-fetched." |

| It's just chronic. It's a shame Mock The Week isn't on, because they could make an hour-long special out of this. |

| Nor is HIGNFY. As a Londoner, I'd be very happy with fewer jobs being created in London - either give me a reason to move out, or give other people a reason and stop driving property prices through the roof! |

| HIGNFY is due back in a fortnight, annoyingly.
Also, what Balla said, re: That London. It's got to the point where they're planning on extending the Tube to Reading. :O |

| Wait I thought you said football fans? All I saw was fans of Manchester United. Hmm, I think might just confirm what you said, ha. I don't know what they expected to happen when Ferguson left considering their squad was ageing and full of average players like Young. Still, I find the plane protest quite amusing. If they put this much effort into protesting about government spending or trident maybe we would be getting somewhere. |

| It's all quite petty, really. However, someone linked me to this Telegraph article a couple of days ago and it is very comprehensive. Poor bloke. |

| Sense is seen! I love how the argument against seems to be "The definition of 'marriage' used to be 'the union between a man and a woman'", as if now we all have to change our dictionaries. Personally, well pleased that more people in love can get the same rights and privileges as other people in love. |

Exactly, adding to this I am pretty sure the 'definition' of marriage consists of a lifelong commitment. Yet I would hardly call divorce a rarity. Hopefully the homosexual couples that have been stigmatized and waiting for this revelation can show the wider public what commitment and responsibility truly is. |

| More bollocks from the Daily Mail, as always. Here's a follow - up article from the guardian because I refuse to actually link to the Mail. The revolution will be a bloody one but I really can't wait. |

| If there was any further evidence required as to the Mail deserving every bit of ire it gets (which there isn't), that'd be it. It is a fairer piece than most, though. And Drunka, wasn't the article you posted linking to you stopping a thief as a banana from the Mail? Interesting, though, the bit at the bottom: - Quote :
- He is not amused, however, that his paper is widely viewed as being no different from the Daily Mail.
I dunno - it seems that writing/editing for something called "The Mail on Sunday" rather lands you in that. |
