I didn't put a link as it's likely to change, yeah it's the pdp controller as it's works like a pro controller but shaped like a cube controller. But at £20 seems a good deal even if just as a pro controller.

Surely there's scope for a GC controller thread? It's not going to apply to just SSBU, after all.

Well the PDP one yes as it's just a pro shaped like a gamecube controller at a decent price, but the proper gamecube controller that needs the adapter might only work with SMASH. I'm hoping it works like a pro u controller myself but who knows.

New fighter announced on Monday. Big build-up, with a countdown - who's it going to be, then? Who deserves this much fanfare?

Maybe it'll be pretty boring and actually just confirmation that Captain Falcon and Ness are coming back.

Is there actually any nintendo character that warrants such fanfare that isn't already in? I can think of a few big names, but none of them new. Well, unless they decide to finally make Ganondorf a unique character and show him off with a set of returnees, but I doubt it. They've made him an incredibly bad clone of captain falcon for two games now, my money is on that continuing or them outright ditching him, and honestly as much as I want him to return if he doesn't get a proper set of moves as he deserves I think I'd rather they just dump him.

I'm putting all your money on it being the lead armadillo from the fairly mince Dillon's Rolling Western. Seems made for Super Smash Bros.

I could definitely see Ms Pacman as a pallette swap, a la wii fit trainer. If we're betting on Mondays announcement... I'd say falcon with my heart but probably not with my head. Have they shown Diddy Kong for this game yet?

We haven't seen much of him, have we? But yes, he was revealed near Christmas time, I think. Around DKCTF's release.

Didn't know about the Assist Trophy...er, betting your life savings on Meta Knight.

Forget Garbodor, Muk is where it's at!  Although if we want the best Pokemon of all time in it has to be this guy!

You like the design of Cubchoo, Jas?  It's a polar bear crossed with Zill from WW.  

A Rhythm Heaven character would be a great shout!  Although Joe's more likely, I'd have thought, as someone who's been in all the games.

I'm mixed on the current rumours flying around the net about shulk, on the one hand he'd make a fantastic fighter from a gameplay perspective, but on the other how is he worthy of even remotely the amount of hype this is getting?

I think we'd all prefer Reyn, every button is just a taunt where he says "It's Reyn Time"
