I'm going to open my Secret Santa at midnight. Anyone else doing the same?

Yep all recieved. Made me feel bad for not using wrapping paper.

Just tucked all the presents under the tree at mums house so I'll be opening mine amongst all that tomorrow.

Having opened it, all i can say is "WOW! THANK YOU!".

I too have just opened mine. Good present, and obviously one that tipped over the £15 threadhold, and it'll be one that I'll get round to playing this version someday.

It means I've got two copies of it, but that just means an extra one for someone round here!

What happened to your big elaborate post with the pictures?

Fortunately, I don't think anything is actually missing.
(I'm going to reveal the details later. I just want everyone else to open theirs first. Let's just say it well and truly exceeded my expectations.)

Looking at yours, and feeling mine, I feel like the one I bought was inadequate...

If I'd known we were allowed to do that, I'd have included a much better secondary gift.  

I actually made a little noise of glee when I opened mine. Thank you, person! (I've got a feeling that I know who it is, for various reasons, but I wouldn't be the first one to make a mistake if not.  )

I've got a feeling that "rude secondary presents" are going to be a thing here, as they're available in most gift shops I've seen and don't cost much. Perfect for topping the balance up to £15.

Woah my gift was so good it makes me feel embarassed about the one I sent. Really happy with what I got although I'm almost certain it went over that 15 quid mark. Oh Well. MERRY CHRISTMAS CHAPS!!!

Right, next year I'm spending £40 on my Secret Santa present and methodically removing all the labels.  

 Fun fact: there were acouple of little Santa triangles, where A bought for B bought for C bought for A.

Mine was brilliant and very exciting. They did it like a little mystery present box, with bits and bobs hidden among the peanuts.

I guess we're saving talk of specifics until later?

Opened mine, the main bit is so cool. And one of the secondary presents will get some use today. I only spent £15 on the present I sent.

Yep, I briefly posted an image then thought better of it... It was far too soon.    
I'm enjoying one of my gifts right now.

When a good number of us have opened, we'll discuss what we've got then after that we can talk about who bought what.
As many of us as are sad enough to spend Christmas day on here, anyway...

I know that Mr. The_Great hasn't got around to his presents yet, so I'll hold off on the singing and dancing until my fellow admin. can join in. Solidarity etc.

*Squeal* This is all very exciting, isn't it? Not a single present has been unwrapped in the Jones household yet, but I will return mid afternoon to share in the enthusiasm.  

It would've been so nice to be a part of this but my financial situation didn't permit it sadly, glad to see everyone else is happy with their secret Santa gifts though.

Well it's gone really nicely so hopefully it will repeat for many years. But with someone else organising, ideally. Fun as it was, the mystery would be nice.

I was in the same boat as Jas, looking forward to seeing everyone's pressies and then joining in next year.   

Just opened my present, nice work, Secret Santa! The main presents were hidden in amongst some more novel presents. Makes me even more ashamed of what I got for my recipient.   

My present was/is AWESOME! Thank you, secret Santa! Is it too early to post a picture/go into a wee bit more detail?
