Bit annoyed someone managed to respond before I could suggest that those numbers from the brightly coloured ads near the back of the newspaper don't count.

When I was in Hong Kong I accidentally ordered coffee with tea in it. Insane.

Anyway it went quite well and seem to have alot in common.

So I will try asking her on a actual date.

Couple times at work I've put a teabag in the cup then pressed the button for coffee. Normally this is when I'm in a state wherein I need coffee.

It's quite nice though, isn't it? And I guess it adds an extra hint of caffeine...

I normally whip the teabag out pretty quick, so it basically just tastes of coffee. But like you say, not the worst tasting thing.

Those of you paying attention to the TV thread might remember me posting about a Korean gameshow. Now, the person who subbed it has been subbing some other stuff (I think they're a fan of one particular contestant from their eSports days, which is why they subbed the gameshow), including this dating advice show, which might be the single most bizarre thing I've ever watched. Enjoy.

I like to give you all a not so good update.

I will start from the beginning on How I got this girls number (TV Show right there),

If you go back a few pages I bring up friend-zone girl, with most people at work knowing I like her. Negredo (I'm not using real names) was like don't be down mas, I think I know the perfect girl for you she's my misses BFF (Is that still a thing). So Negredo talks to his misses Toni, even takes a picture of me without knowing to show this girl whom we will call Blue Eyes, Toni sends me a text from Negredo's phone saying blue eyes would actually would like to talk to you even being ginger (I thought ginger's were cool now with that Ed dude).

So I text blue eye's start talking and arrange to have coffee which you know, all went well I texted Negredo about it to a reply a few hour's later saying blue eyes had spoken to Toni and thought we had a lot in common & that I seemed sweet and lovely.

So far so good your thinking, so the next day after coffee I text blue eyes saying it was lovely to meet you and would like to take her out that kinda thing. I didn't hear from her for 3 day's after that (I hear there's a 2 day rule or something), with her saying she been really busy and hasn't really got any free time at the moment as she getting ready to start new job and studying (She want's to be teacher with her favorite subject being English ohh the irony) but did say it was lovely to meet me as well and that I did seem sweet with smileys and X's by the bucket load.

So is is just a excuses not to go on actual date with me (apparently coffee is a date, I didn't think it was), I did show Negredo our text's and as he knows her better then I do if she didn't like me she would of said something to Toni her BFF according to him right away after the coffee & to me.

So what do I do, the PC gamer master race guy at work went with persistence can pay off as his fiance said no to him to start of with and so did Negredo with when Toni talks to her again I will be dropped you into conversation with something like when you seeing mas again and if she says nah well I know that's it then.    

At the moment I do have nothing else going on and I am in work a lot, so it's not like I'm actually going to meet anyone else (This is when the cute girl in GAME becomes single and I don't do anything). So I can wait but is kinda annoying not really sure what to do, I am going a way to Cardiff mid may with some lads. So might give her to then and if nothing happens then I'll be in Mr Lilly mode.

She is actually busy rehearsing for a play according to Negredo and she has told Toni she would like to see me again but doesn't know when though.

Just some general musings I wanted to share with people who are never going to interact with the girls in question. My problems are threefold:

I always like the girls I can't have.
I fall so badly so quickly and no matter how hard I try, I can't get them out of my head no matter how hopeless.
There's something wrong with me that makes me incapable of reciprocating feelings for the right girls even when they're into me.

What you've got there, my friend, is a serious case of "being male".

Tell me about it. There's one, a friend of friends who I've always gotten along with and who is pretty flirty with me, who I might try to make something happen with. Only issue is she doesn't live nearby any more so I only see her on the high holidays or special occasions. Good news; we flirt a lot facebook and the written word is my forte, plus she lives near family who I will be staying with in summer. Bad news; she's better than me at Mario kart (albeit when I'm drunk).

Ps she's very hot.

It's not my fault I'm frequently inebriated, I rely too heavily on faulty correction technology and I never bother to proof read! I'm still a cunning linguist.

How far away, as you do know how to drive right but don't have a car.

Cornwall, so a three hour drive. Not a major issue if we were hooking up, but too far for spontaneity. However, she does live right near some family I'm staying with in the summer so if I don't see her before then, I'll invite her for coffee while I'm down.

That sounds like a plan, when your staying down that way see if you can do something with her and see how it goes. If it goes well Cornwall isn't that depending where it is Salt Ash is about 45 minutes away but Lands End a good 3hrs.

Blue Eyed girl is no go for me as she want's to focus on her career   , so when I go to Cardiff it's in full Drunka mode.

I'm a bit behind on this thread, is this where we complain about being single?
