To be fair, I don't think I've heard Apollo fully voice acted yet, just Nick and Athena from what I've played of Dual Destinies thus far. So, I shall report back later.

The music of the AA series is one of the best things about it, from its chiptune-esque beginnings to the modern day. Also I like the 'OBJECTION' soundbites. Andyman continues to be dead, dead wrong.

The childlike glee that I experience when shouting "OBJECTION!" into the mike has not diminished in ten years. I agree that you'd lose something from the game if you shouted and didn't hear your lawyer echoing you.

It's things like this (and Other M, which gave a voice to Samus) that make me worry for a fully voice-acted Zelda or what have you. So easy to get wrong.

I think it's tough in games that don't have voice acting from the off, as you'll already have crafted voices in your head for those characters.

I know it's entirely optional, but - less of this please, AA.

At the end of today there's a place that's Tibetan, And some oddly dressed cretin who thinks that he's wise... As the laws clash on the stand, As the witness could break any second, There's a console in my hand, And objections that will be 'OBJECTION'ed, And there will be a game to play...
...at the end of today!

I'm a little more hopeful for Zelda as A) it'll be high fantasy stuff, which precludes annoying American accents and B) Link won't talk in a voiced game any more than he does in a textual one.

Andy, there is an option to turn the sound effects off: that's better than having no sound at all! Also you can speed up text right from the start if you choose the 'all' option.

I quickly found the text skip! Didn't actually turn off the pips, they annoyed me less than I remember, also successfully fell asleep whilst playing, damn 3DS and me only wanting to play it in bed!

First impressions (I've just finished case 1): the dialogue seems much more entertaining than DD's. Or maybe it's the sweet wine, I'm not sure. Anyway, I'm enjoying this stuff!
Them puns, though. Them puns. Some just don't even try. The Khurainian hippie called Pees'lubn Andistan'dhin gets an entire Internet's worth of CM Punks on his own.

I'll be skipping visiting this thread until I'm done with Dual Destinies and on board with Spirit of Justice, but I'm very much looking forward to getting to it if that's the standard of pun I can expect.

Yup, the Khura'inese names are tremendously cringeworthy, but the rest of the dialogue is good stuff! The villains aren't bad either, and the Khura'inese civil war thing is an interesting sub-plot. So much relies on the last case, of course (that's where DD really fell down), but this is fantastic stuff so far (I've just hit the beginning of the third chapter).
Also Sahdmadhi (that spelling) is the best opposition prosecutor since Godot. And Ema Skye has improved immeasurably since her grumpy Apollo Justice-iteration. She's kind of adorable.
...that said, in one scene I have come across a rebel and a board game called:
Early Chapter 3:
...Datz Are'bal and Kachu'demahl.
