| Well we have to wait and see what the others say on Mission 46 but I liked it. |

| How am I meant to know which is the green one when it never shows you a preview of the weapon? Also when you say launcher do you mean grenade or rocket? |

| As you may have seen on twitter I done mission 45 with the 4 star Grom 11 rocket launcher. --- As for mission 46 I totally agree with Andy but the end cut scene is absolutely brilliant even if I should have seen it coming, such a great game. |

| I was talking more about the end of mission 46 and how it was brilliant like you say Jas.
I've started Twin Snakes now, I've got to the tank. |

| The mission is called Truth , to me you need to do that all to get to the end. It could of been all a cut scene but I can just imagine Kojima thinking I'll get them to do that before hand.
Just for the #Bantz |

You not a fan of how the game ends then? (Poor mission aside obviously) - MGSV ending spoilers:
I've now watched the cut mission video, it certainly would have been a more for want of a better word epic end mission because of the scale of the final battle but I think it was right to cut it from the game as you know who Eli is & what he becomes so there's no need from a story perspective to show how he get's there.

| I found it kinda predictable and sudden (and I didn't realise it had ended for 2 days). - Response to Jas' Spoiler:
2 things, 1: I didn't know which isn't great for the many noobs. 2: I think where the hell a giant nuke containing robot got to is kind of an important matter...

| Mission 51 apparently would of been in the cut Chapter 3 Peace along with a other missions.
Could Kojima & Konmai fallen out because of that?
Also there is another ending MGSV:TPP which is here unless your plan to play more of MGSV to get the stuff to do this. |

| I have just got to mission 30. Five or so missions ago I thought the game had taken its foot off the gas, but its really amped up again to the point where I just had to do the next mission immediately, and the one after that, and the one after that... |

| That really does look like a lot of fun!
I've progressed a fair bit in MGS4. I'm really enjoying it, but it's definitely more cutscene heavy than any other Metal Gear. The time between me beating Raging Raven and picking up my controller for Act IV was a bit too long. Having said that, Act IV is doing everything right so far! I'm predicting a Metal Gear Rex boss fight to round off this act, which should hopefully be an easier encounter than MGS1.
Speaking of which, the brief dream interlude section from MGS1 made my mind up that MGS1 has been the least fun gameplay wise so far. I died as many times in that one starting segment than I had in the entirety of MGS4 up to that point - granted, that was only twice, but still, it was down to a lack of control that I ended up getting caught twice by the guards. At least that made exploring Shadow Moses in MGS4's engine so much sweeter. |

| Double post, but I've beaten MGS4! - Spoiler:
Snake... had a hard life.
I really enjoyed it. Probably my second favourite behind MGS3. I think - besides The End - MGS4 had the best boss fights in the series thus far too. That final boss fight was fucking fantastic. When Snake Eater kicked in I actually whooped with joy. And the ending was emotional as hell. So yeah, good stuff! Onwards to Peace Walker! |

| Really interested what you think of Peace Walker as it's the only core timeline Metal Gear part from the MSX games I've not played but I'm really tempted to play it some how. |

| It's an interesting one. I'm really liking the Mother Base system and fultoning guards away to join my army, but it's quite clearly a port of a handheld game. The textures aren't great and the game seems keen to get you to play the missions multiplayer. |

| I'm glad you enjoyed the fourth one Jay. I like a lot of the bosses in that game, particularly the first and last ones, but I did find a few members of the BB Unit (The wolfywoman and angrybird) to be a bit naff, although admittedly that could be down to the turtle tactics I used to beat those two.
I never got very far in Peace Walker, I don't recall even getting as far as a boss, when I borrowed it as part of the collection. I did really like the Mother Base aspect though. |

| Peace Walker is worth sticking with as A) it is bloody good and B) it pretty much demands to be played before V. |

| I think your MGS V mileage will be better with Peace Walker, but as long as you have played the others in the series and make sure you listen to most of the cassette tapes in V you can get away without it.
That said, there are certain characters who obviously did cool stuff in Peace Walker who I lack a connection with in V, not that it's held back my enjoyment of the title to any significant degree. |

| Yeah, I get the impression this is all going to be quite important for MGSV, so I'm going to keep on playing. I'm still waiting for it to get its hooks into me, and it's still early days (I've just done the mission where you rescue Chico) so I'm sure it'll happen. I bet this would be much better in multiplayer though. |

| I would also say that giving Ground Zeroes a shot, if you can, is advisable too. It's a great set up for the main game, and has its own share of fun side missions, and nods and winks to other stuff. The main mission is also absolutely cracking the first time around. |
