That's a heck of a change from food v. sleep or north pole v. south pole.

They're different regionally; America has had slightly less quaint ones than Europe already.

So I gather, I just found it a bit of a shock to see how different they are from what we have had.

I thought I'd get back into Splatoon, but since all the updates it's completely unplayable!? Nearly every game drops out after 30 seconds. I used to play 10's of hours of Splatoon before without an issue. All my other online games on Wii U, 3DS and PS4(including 20 on 20 Star Wars Battlefront matches) work without a hitch, so I know it's not my internet.

I was wondering if any of you have suffered from the same problem?

I believe that Fronkhead had a similar issue. I think to improve stability they caused players below a certain speed to just get kicked. That was a while ago though, so not sure how relevant.

Yeah, I've read that. That's what must have happened to me(I think my upload speed is only 0.3 or something). I'd understand if all my online experiences had lag issues, but it's only Splatoon. :-(

I think Splatoon's a bit intensive on the old online stuff - keeping track of all of the surfaces and relaying that to all the consoles (and then vice-versa with arcs of shot paint) probably hurts quite a bit.

If you're doing the same this Sunday I'd be up for it, really want to get back in to this, had a few games last week and had a blast.

I'd be bang up for playing with y'all! I had a little go the other day, to check my connection would hold and that I could play with my dodgy wrist. Its all good!
