| I should emphasise that there are lots of Christians I know who are very au fait with the whole homosexuality thing, because they don't take every word of the Bible (especially St. Paul) literally. It's the other lot I have a problem with. |

| I don't have a problem with passive followers of religion either, I'm just an extremely literal person so I'm essentially incompatible with religion. Religions require faith, I simply am incapable of giving something my trust on faith alone, I need tangible evidence, something religion cannot provide. |

| Trying to sleep with a bad headache and a stomach ache last night.
About to hit the sack reminded me of last nights awful attempt. Went to bed with a bad headache around the left eye and banding around the left side of the had to the ear. After trying to just solve it by lying on it and playing steins;gate I decided to get up and take some pain meds.
Mistake, ended up getting stomach cramps for my trouble. Left me in the really awkward position where I either lay on the side and sort out the headache, or lay on the stomach to sort that out, leaving the other to go about causing agony unrestrained. Needless to say it ended my steins;gate run for the evening because all I could think about was the pain with the occassional though running through wondering how I'd get to sleep through it.
Clearly the pain meds kicked in and I drifted off as I woke up with no memory of it until crashing now reminded me, but wanted a bit of a whine about it on behalf of pain racked me from 24 hours ago who wanted to have a moan online but was too busy writhing in agony to move (plus rule number one of headaches: don't use a screen and don't read).
Ah well, with my monthly migraine/headache done I can relax and move on. |

| Just need to get this off my chest, the hot water tank has broken. Let me paint you a picture: it's one in the morning, it's a nice chilly minimum of 7.5 degrees Celsius, you live in a house that barely keeps it above that so the air temperature is around 8 to 9 degrees. After a nice day you jump in the shower to get clean before going to bed, and are greeted by "hot" water that is barely above cold water. You then have to have a shower in cold water in fading but still seriously bloody cold winter temperatures. Now watch as the owner blames me and the neighbour for the hot water tank going. If he does I swear to god, meek mild shrinking violet that I am in real life I will absolutely blow.Well, all sorted. That was rather painless. Still stand by the cold shower being a nuisance though, I got about five hours sleep because of it because my muscles were all tensed. And if anybody reads this and thinks I'm overreacting I dare you to do this: wait until the daily minimum of about 7 degrees, open your house out to let the temperature inside mirror the outside ( to mirror how bad the insulation is here in aus), then have a cold shower. Have fun. |

| The free drink with certain Subway sandwiches that they push on you because it will lower the price of the sandwich. I don't want a drink, people, even if it makes things cheaper - can you not see the bottle of Lucozade that I'm (usually) holding? I'm cool for drinks. Cool. |

| I'm with Zero. It's not a drink with negative cost, it's a sandwich with an inflated cost.
That said most meal deals are basically the same: buy a sandwich and the drink/snack is nearly the same cost as a solo sandwich. |

| In any case, I've found a way to beat them: if I get a veggie patty sandwich, the offer does not apply! Winning. |

Then again it is Lucozade you have so you can't blame them. I know what you mean though as the last week I've bought lunch in Greggs they've tried to sell me the bigger bottle of water despite me always picking up the smaller one. |

| Ach, I don't mind wearing contacts. Although, I don't enjoy having dry eyes at the end of a long day wearing them. That can sod off. |

| Losing stuff. I'm terrible for it- ask muss how many room keys I went through in one weekend at Butlins- and it always stresses me out. Today in particular I lost my wallet. I have no idea how: I'm sure I've not left the house since I had it last. Normally a bit of an inconvenience, it had the last of my money in it until payday including the cash I was going to pay into the bank for my brother's birthday present! I hate that I won't have a present for him in time: despite everything else I've managed to cock up in life, being there for my brother and sister is the one thing I always pride myself on.
This morning I was tearing my flat apart, getting increasingly frustrated and subsequently less able to search. Ended up an hour and a half late for work with no wallet to show for it, with a monster headache, a pain in my chest and feeling like I wanted to cry. I'm convinced I've dropped it in the bin and accidentally put it out for the bin men.
I hate losing things! |

| See, I'm ridiculously anal about my belongings - they've got a place they go when I come from work, a place they stay during work and they never ever move from there unless I need them. So I'm not awful about losing things.
Although I did lose my passport once, placed an order for a new one only to find the old one under a pile of magazines in my room. Whoops. |

| Lost my passport twice. When I got a new one earlier this year, it came with a stern letter that I'll be in serious trouble if it happens again... |

| I'm trying to do that, but it's a habit to be learned. It's not easy. Biggest problem is when I'm out and about, I'll put things down and forget I've done so. |

| Mine and Andy's Street Fighter V beta experience - "Aw, thanks for the code Mas, really appreciate it! Let me redeem it... okay, code redeemed. So... where do I download the beta? It's not in my games library on PS4, and I've no option to download it. It's showing up in my purchase history... but where the hell do I download it?"
My further experience - "I'll phone Sony, they should be able to help. Maybe they could push the download out to my console? Hi there Sony, can you help? No, I don't want to get sent a troubleshooting guide, can you help now? You can't? Okay, fine. Let me try out this troubleshooting guide. Oh. That did literally nothing except make me reset my PS4. Thanks Sony and Capcom." |

| Been a while, and I think this time my rage is completely justified.... No, my rage over the cold showers in winter tempretures were justified, the heck am I saying? Anyway, so, I live around the center of town, few minutes walk from everywhere. So, I go out for my customary stroll to the post office to check the po box. I get to the intersection and wait like you do for the traffic lights to change. I get there and there's a woman with stroller blocking the switch to hit for pedestrian lights, so I do the obvious thing and take my place believeing she's already pressed it. Nope, she didn't press it, and I almost get mown over and have to run Usain Bolt speed across the intersection. I'm not normally a outward expressive person, I'm an absolute introvert in real life. But you'd best believe I was furious over that one. There is so much to be angry about. Like a moron blocking off pedestrian lights while not pressing them. Or how about the fact she then crossed the road of a busy intersection with a pram and a baby without proper warning. This is peak lunch hour traffic here, and a great way to get you and a baby killed is stunts like that. I just can't stand it when people do things absolutely incompetently. Absolute pet loathing of mine. I especially despise it when they endanger others lives, being moronic with your own life is one thing, but getting a stranger and your own kid wrapped up in it? Intolerable. Safe to say next time I see a woman with a pram at an intersection I'm not giving them the benefit of the doubt and expecting them to have hit the pedestrian switch. As per usual if you want something done you have to do it yourself, especially in this town. |
