| I've heard really good things about Lucha Underground, and what I've seen so far echoes that. They're uploaded by a DailyMotion user quite soon after their aired. Here's the most recent one:
https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x2fvua1_lucha-underground-s01-ep12-28-01-2015_sport
There's the odd familar face - John Morrison, Ezekiel Jackson and Chavo Guerrero are in it - but it's very different to WWE, and very refreshing.

| Seconding Lucha Underground, actually. It's like Game of Thrones with bits of wrestling involved - the backstage bits are really refreshingly different from the norm. |

They really are pushing for it & a great step that Mark Dallas has made is he will be taking a back seat from being at every single show to work full time on getting that TV deal. Also his exact words were "By the end of 2015 ICW will have fucking TV deal" |

| Not much to be said about WWE in the last few weeks, though I will contribute this: I would probably rather see Seth Rollins' stauner than watch The Ascension. |

| I fast-forwarded my way through Raw yesterday. I liked the way they did Sting's "acceptance", even if we've seen it a million times before, but I have to say I think Roman Reigns has proved that he isn't main event material (yet). He had no energy, stuttered in his promo and he gets zero reaction from the crowd.
I watched Stone Cold's podcast on the Network and the Triple H interview was excellent. Very interesting, hearing them both talk about the so-called "Reality Era" and the problems it brings to kayfabe.
Caught some of NXT's last PPV (is it a PPV?) and it was cool. I think I need to watch it more to get to know the characters.
Other than that, it's 1998 WWF and WCW PPVs for me so far. |

| There's another NXT Live Special on tonight, actually - it's definitely a great product to get into. |

| I need to watch more NXT, going to start with that PPV from last night.
On the Network just finished watching all of the Monday Night Wars which was great,
I might watch the Paul Heyman, CM Punk specials along with both rise & falls ohh the best of WCW as I was a WWF kid during the MNW. |

| So NXT Rival was a belter of show last night, though you know what I hate? The inevitable "This is better than the main roster shows" comments I see throughout which I admit it mostly is when it comes down to the wrestling but as we know the main reason for that is because it's more simplified and focused product.
The same dips in quality would probably rear their head if they also had to go into a third hour or if a chunk of time was allocated to someone talking to help promote a story. |

| It was a great special, as they always all, but my hype was totally slaughtered by that atrocious tag team match. Just a mess of botches and trying to get their shit in - I feel like an old school wrasslin' fan saying this, but I actually found it hard to keep up with it. Even the announcers chimed in though: "what is going on?" shouldn't need to be said. |

| The quality of the tag team division has taken a dip on NXT, hasn't it? The champs are very ordinary and I've never thought much of the pairing of Kalisto & Sin Cara, I think the former would certainly thrive more on his own.
I'd personally be doing more with the Vaudevillains as well as Enzo & Big Cass.

| I've never really rated their tag division to be honest. It's definitely the weakest part of the show.
On another note, happened upon this video from 2001 whilst doing some YouTube browsing. Crazy how a midcarder got the same reaction as the top guys do today. |

| The golden days, when more or less everyone on the WWF roster had a purpose, a storyline, and the backing of the writers. The guys who were losing every week on Sunday Night Heat had better character definition than the likes of Luke Harper. |

| Say what you will about Vince Russo, but you definitely cannot fault that fact - everyone, from the top of the card to the bottom had a storyline and character definition. Agreed. |

| Mind you, some of those characters were Beaver Cleavage, TAFKA Goldust, Sexual Chocolate, Tiger Ali Singh and Meat. The worst we've got today is probably The New Day.
Not everyone gets to be D'Lo Brown and his quality chest protector.

| I have no idea who that is.
Oh, apparently WWE Fast Lane will be airing not only on Sky Sports 1, but Sky1 itself. That's pretty huge. |

| He's a bit of a gaming Internet celeb but hey who doesn't like ziggler.
That's neat but the Network is free at the moment, so can't think who would really care it's on Sky 1. |

| A lot of casual or lapsed fans might happen upon it whilst surfing their channels. Plus, I've not got the network, so suits me. |

| While you's are talking of the network I've found myself putting it on for a bit of background noise while I play monster hunter and was happy to see wrestlemania 12 pop up on the live schedule. (thought you could only search for stuff like that)
Funniest thing on it? A car chase sequence between Roddy Piper & Goldust which spilled into the arena and then an eventual brawl in the ring. |
