Nah, not at all - I didn't see it in the chat thread as it's one I rarely open. My two numbers will do me grand... ...watch as I get Big Show and Kane, mind. |

| SO... that wasn't bad, as such, just disappointingly predictable. I cam definitely see a third man being chucked into the WM main event like Bryan last year. Maybe Ambrose? I do freaking love Dean.
also, props for doing that, Jay. I might not have won, but very happy to have Bryan and the Boogeyman! |

| No problem man!
Yeah, was pretty disappointing. I feel bad for Reigns, as I've absolutely nothing against him, just how he's being booked. I mean, do you honestly expect the guy to turn down a main event at Wrestlemania because the crowd's not going to like it? No. But WWE should have realised that it was Daniel Bryan or bust. You just felt the arena deflate when he was put out. Unlike last year, I feel bad for the reaction the winner got - Reigns seemed genuinely affected by it, as opposed to big Dave who just mouthed off to everyone and DID NOT need the win in any way.
I saw what they tried to do with The Rock as well, but even that couldn't save Reigns from nuclear heat. Ah well - he'll probably win at Mania and get his moment then.
On a happier note, that title match was a belter. Seth Rollins really impressed me a lot - that phoenix splash at the end of the match was insane! I think he's cashing in at Mania, and if it's on Reigns, it might just be to a major pop too.

| Had to give Royal Rumble a miss this year - getting too old for staying up late on a work night. I only tend to tune in for this and 'Mania each year now so when checking up on the results there's a lot of names I don't recognise. |

| I don't really have anything against Reigns either, but I also don't have any real interest in him. He's just.. There. He's got no character to speak of. And like you say, I'm not the biggest fan of the way he's being pushed down our throats even though nobody cares. |

| So the rumble ppv was a bit muh apart from the title match which was awesome but surely they would of been better of going Brock was playing possum how he suddenly went from needing doctors to being the beast.
The actual rumble well my two of mine in the raffle did give me a good run for my money, so good work jay but Bryan had to win. It's what the fans want but I think even he did win would of been a rather boring rumble.
The Rock save seems weird as we all know he's related to reigns but that's never been brought up, surely a sting save would of made so much more sense with the story of sting v the authority.
Also how everyone was talking there won't be a title match at fast lane (why no chamber) even though brock was in the advert.
I hope some how they make the title match more interesting at mania like putting bryan into the match as he vacant the title surely he has a rematch or he has to go through hoops a bit like last year to get into the match.
Ohh also that costume is what made Bubba look fat, also I hope WWE sign him and Velvet Sky up and use them both properly as we know Bubba can be a main eventer. |

| The crowd categorically ruined that Rumble match for me, were there better choices than Reigns? Yes. Is he the worst possible choice for a winner? No, but the crowd just couldn't let it go from the moment Bryan was chucked out which I find quite sad if I'm honest, the ending also fell flat because they had lost the crowd as it was clearly meant to be false finish with the kane & big show eliminations. Anyhow 2 months is still a long time in wrestling and the structure of the WM main even can still change & I'd honestly love to see Reigns vs Rollins more than Brock. --- As for my rumble numbers, I thought for a bit I was onto a winner when Ziggler drew the final number & had a laugh when my two picks started fighting each other.

Outstanding. ~ I wasn't impressed with that Rumble match all, to be honest. It started well enough (first five minutes were the highlight!), but Bryan's elimination sucked all the life out of it. What transpired after that was very dull and much too predictable, and the funereal atmosphere this created (not just in the crowd but evidently on commentary too) made this one of the worst Rumble matches ever - right down there with 1988, 1993 and 2012. There was so little that was interesting about it. There was no storyline development - the Ziggler/Ryback storyline seems to have been an excercise in filling screen time and nothing more. There was no drama - the final four might as well have been Reigns, Brooklyn Brawler, Barry Horowitz and Funaki. I can't remember who eliminated who, nor is it important that I do. Even Kofi Kingston's yearly high spot wasn't that brilliant. I like Reigns and look forward to his match with Lesnar, but the Rumble match itself was piss-poor. Title match was absolutely class, mind. One of the best in ages! |

| The Rumble match started really hot too - Bubba's return, DDP coming out and giving everyone the Diamond Cutter, Wyatt cleaning house... solid start. But eliminating Bryan early was such a bad booking decision. Like, really bad. Ah well - let's see how this all develops now.

| I fear for Reigns - it could be a Sheamus or Del Rio situation all over again, where the fans just aren't in to the character, and he'll end up in the mid-card for five years.
It baffles me why WWE continues to overlook Dolph Ziggler and Daniel Bryan. When I think of Wrestlemania, I think of classic matches. Roman Reigns!? That's like letting Test win the Royal Rumble. |

| I think they were afraid of going to the well again and putting Bryan in the main event two years in a row. I mean, it's not like that has worked for anyone else. Ahem. |

| I'm more disappointed with how it ended rather than the result, Reigns wouldn't have been my first choice but if they went the right direction with him then there'd be hope for him yet. Given his physicality and size it'd make much more sense to have him as a heel that just destroys everyone rather than an underdog like they tried to paint him as towards the end. It would have even been better if they just made him tear through everyone like last year, he deserved to win last year, he just seemed like one of the final few this year.
That being said there was some very good moments but it was always gonna be tough to top the championship match before it, here's hoping Rollins can remain in the title picture for Wrestlemania, I mean, how good would a Shield triple threat be? |

| After the past couple of days of strife in the wrestling world, let's all take a step back and enjoy this picture of John Cena being left out of the big boys's conversation and wistfully looking on. Or on a more heartwarming note, how about Bray Wyatt getting his first Make-A-Wish request? |

| I need to start watching more non-WWE wrasslin' I think. I know NXT is supposed to be good, but that's still basically WWE. What else do people recommend? If ICW does come to TV ill be there with bells on. |

| ICW have an online streaming service for a decent monthly price if you're looking to get into them. Other than that, I always recommend NJPW to folk, so long as you can get past the language barrier. Jim Ross did commentary for their big show Wrestle Kingdom at the start of the year. |
