I've heard about this project for a while as I follow one of the producers (Matt Cohen) on twitter & I'm just about to give it a watch.
---
The director of this did write chronicle which is brilliant! He is also the son of John Landis who I hopefully shouldn't need to explain who that is.
EDIT: I've now watched it & it was fucking excellent! What's more a lot of the stuff said in that short film will help me just take wrestling for what it is & have a blast as I watch these characters grow.
Oh also John Landis has a cameo at 15:42 as HBK's therapist.

It's the granddaddy of them all this Sunday - WrestleMania 31!
Whilst I'm less than enthused by the card, considering I'll be watching with a few mates and some bevs, it'll go by alright.
Anyone fancy doing predictions for the matches?
The card::
Tyson Kidd and Cesaro (c) (with Natalya) vs. The New Day (Big E and Kofi Kingston) (with Xavier Woods) vs. Los Matadores (Diego and Fernando) (with El Torito) vs. The Usos (Jimmy and Jey Uso) (with Naomi) [Fatal 4-Way Tag team match for the WWE Tag Team Championship]
André the Giant Memorial Battle Royal
Randy Orton vs. Seth Rollins (with J&J Security)
Rusev (c) (with Lana) vs. John Cena [Singles match for the WWE United States Championship]
The Undertaker vs. Bray Wyatt
AJ Lee and Paige vs. The Bella Twins (Brie and Nikki Bella)
Bad News Barrett (c) vs. R-Truth vs. Dean Ambrose vs. Luke Harper vs. Dolph Ziggler vs. Stardust vs. Daniel Bryan [Ladder match for the WWE Intercontinental Championship]
Sting vs. Triple H
Brock Lesnar (c) (with Paul Heyman) vs. Roman Reigns [Singles match for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship]
My predictions::
Woof, what a jobber match. It's either Kidd/Cesaro or the Usos here. I reckon they'll be keeping the belts on Kidd and Cesaro.
André the Giant Memorial Battle Royal
I reckon Mizdow/Sandow has this.
Randy Orton vs. Seth Rollins (with J&J Security)
I'd be surprised if Orton wins this - Rollins for me.
Rusev (c) (with Lana) vs. John Cena [Singles match for the WWE United States Championship]
This is a tough one to call... Hahahaha no it isn't - Cena.
The Undertaker vs. Bray Wyatt
Not sure here. On the one hand, Bray Wyatt looks like shit if he loses to the Undertaker. On the other hand, Taker probably needs to win if he's going to have another match. I'm going to go with Bray Wyatt here.
AJ Lee and Paige vs. The Bella Twins (Brie and Nikki Bella)
Bellas, I reckon.
Bad News Barrett (c) vs. R-Truth vs. Dean Ambrose vs. Luke Harper vs. Dolph Ziggler vs. Stardust vs. Daniel Bryan [Ladder match for the WWE Intercontinental Championship]
I reckon Daniel Bryan is winning this, although it could go anyway, really.
Sting vs. Triple H
Stinger for me, here.
Brock Lesnar (c) (with Paul Heyman) vs. Roman Reigns [Singles match for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship]
Before Lesnar re-signed, I would have predicted Reigns with no hesistation. Now... it's trickier. I actually think Brock wins now.

I'm not that excited and not really got a spare 4hrs in till Tuesday afternoon that also has some baring on it as Royal Rumble I was watching live and tweeting during it with others.
My Predcitions:
Tyson Kidd and Cesaro (c) (with Natalya) vs. The New Day (Big E and Kofi Kingston) (with Xavier Woods) vs. Los Matadores (Diego and Fernando) (with El Torito) vs. The Usos (Jimmy and Jey Uso) (with Naomi) [Fatal 4-Way Tag team match for the WWE Tag Team Championship] I'm going Kidd & Cesaro but not sure if I was watch or not as it's pre-show
André the Giant Memorial Battle Royal
Interested to see who the NXT star is but agree with Jay that Sandow & Miz could be the last two and Sandow eliminates Miz.
Randy Orton vs. Seth Rollins (with J&J Security)
Rollins
Rusev (c) (with Lana) vs. John Cena [Singles match for the WWE United States Championship]
Cena which still makes me wonder about the US Belt as who's going to go for the US belt when it's the C-Tier & the 15 time world champ holds it.
The Undertaker vs. Bray Wyatt
Not a clue, as if Bray wins makes him looks good & you can say it lays Taker to rest but if Taker wins makes Bray look rather crap and where does Taker go from there maybe retire on a high but can't see that.
AJ Lee and Paige vs. The Bella Twins (Brie and Nikki Bella) Why not a Fatal Four for the DIVAS belt & Brie pins Nikki & go continues that rivalry but going Bella's
Bad News Barrett (c) vs. R-Truth vs. Dean Ambrose vs. Luke Harper vs. Dolph Ziggler vs. Stardust vs. Daniel Bryan [Ladder match for the WWE Intercontinental Championship]
Why 7 that's a silly number 6 or 8 and R-Truth & Stardust why urghh but I'm going Bryan or Dean
Sting vs. Triple H
Has to be The Icon Sting
Brock Lesnar (c) (with Paul Heyman) vs. Roman Reigns [Singles match for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship] Brock but not sure if we will get a cash in

I'm quite excited for it even if the card could be better as there are still some exciting matches in there, my top two being Wyatt vs Taker and the IC title ladder match.
Anyhow it's a case of me watching wrestling all day since I'll be at ICW Barramania as well.

WRASSLEMAAAAAAANIA! I am very much excited. I've got Sunday, Monday and Tuesday off and i'm going to get smashed. #ginergy
Predictions/ hopes:
[Fatal 4-Way Tag team match for the WWE Tag Team Championship] I'm expecting and hoping for Cesaro and Kidd to take this one, although there is a big part of me that would love to see New Day get a big legitimate win.
André the Giant Memorial Battle Royal I suspect it'll be Ryback as long as the match is long enough for his ten minute naps between moves. My heart says Sandow, though.
Randy Orton vs. Seth Rollins (with J&J Security) Seth, unless Orton wins by some kind of surprise upset. Like Sheamus returning.
Rusev (c) (with Lana) vs. John Cena [Singles match for the WWE United States Championship] BUP BADUP DA AA! BUP BADUP DAAAAA! You're time is up, yeh, my time is now!
Gotta be John. Legitimise the belt, give the kids a win for their hero against one of the top heels at the moment. Losing to someone as huge as Cena certainly isn't gonna hurt Rusev.
The Undertaker vs. Bray Wyatt Taker decimates Wyatt and disappears forever, Wyatt is imbued with Taker's powers from here on out.
AJ Lee and Paige vs. The Bella Twins (Brie and Nikki Bella) It better be Paige!
[Ladder match for the WWE Intercontinental Championship] Ziggs and Dean are my favourite guys on the roster right now, so hopefully one of them. Really, though, anyone but fucking Bryan. He doesn't need it.
Sting vs. Triple H I'd quite like to see Trips take this one. A big fuck you to WCW would be hilarious and Triple H hasn't really won anything interesting in forever.
Brock Lesnar (c) (with Paul Heyman) vs. Roman Reigns [Singles match for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship] Even though Brock has signed, im gonna stick with my original prediction: Reigns just about takes it but he's so utterly drained by the end of it that Rollins swans in, cashes in the case and leaves 'Mania with the belt.

I fucking loved that mania. Couple of disappointing results but non-stop amazing moments, primarily the results I wanted, top wrasslin' action and some proper surprises.
I knew Rollins was gonna walk out champ but not like that, with Lesnar super face and Reigns fucked right over.

Barramania: FUCKING TOP NOTCH!
Wrestlemania: FUCKING TOP NOTCH!
I FUCKING LOVE WRESTLING!
---
The only thing I was disappointed with is having to miss most of the ICW main event to catch the last train home, luckily though the show will be put up on demand today so I'll be avoiding the outcome until I watch it on there.
The ICW crowd is fucking bonkers btw and I can only recommend if they are near your city then go and see it.

I think if they'd had Reigns go over clean as a whistle, he'd have been really fucked over - I don't think this result hurt him at all. I saw a lot of chat on Twitter and elsewhere saying he looked like a fucking badass in that match, even in defeat.

Aye I really hope his detractors can find a bit of respect for him now after that performance, loved the little moments of him smiling after taking multiple suplexes which the commentators put over really well.

Quite liked WrestleMania. I felt that it was a rock solid show with a few spectacular moments (that RKO was executed to perfection), although I didn't feel that there were any standout matches. That doesn't mean that I didn't like a lot of them, mind; the main event definitely surpassed expectations and was exactly the sort of match I wanted to see, Sting/Triple H was great fun, Rollins/Orton was really good and I've got no complaints about anything else on the card. Good stuff.

Aye, more or less feeling the same here! I preferred last year's show, but there weren't any points where I was sitting bored (Rock/Cena II at WM29 did that to me) this year. Good show all round.

That video was alright. Then I saw Dolph and it became amazing. Also, I've got a pretty good idea how Extreme Rules' main event is gonna end.
stuff i saw at the house show:
The main Event at the house show I saw in Bournemouth was a title match between Seth Rollins and Randy Orton (with Rollins losing by disqualification, natch) but towards the end Rollins hit Orton with the RKO, which is something I've not seen before. I'd bet actual money they're practicing that for extreme rules and seth is gonna lose by disqualification for breaking his own rule. I reckon that'd be a pretty smart ending.

Apparently Leppan is surveying fans by asking if they want to see his old Leo Kruger character come back. They knackered his Adam Rose character with The Bunny stuff, so I think 'why not?'. Give it a bash. Perhaps they could have Leo Kruger team up with Bray Wyatt and The Ascension to form a new Wyatt Family - try and get something out of those four (even if I would suggest that they wouldn't; they're probably my four least favourite performers on the WWE roster).
