| Inspired by a conversation with Beemoh and Andyman949...
Restaurant? Supermarket pizza? Homemade pizza? Italian Style Pizza? American Style Pizza? Let us know below! I'm about to eat a pizza this evening, so I'll report back. But otherwise I don't have a general preference for American style or Italian pizza, but it more depends on a case-by-case basis. I'm not a huge fan of deep pan, though, I prefer the dough base to be more crisp and thin, and sort of sink down when you hold it up. Mm. |

| Well seeing Turkish make the pizza I get delivered I'm not sure what style it is, would guess American but I'm boring normally just have Hawaiian from there. Now again have dominos if at a magic event & we order about 10 pizzas, so try a bit or everything.
I rarely have pizzas at home as they don't taste right. |

| There's an Italian restaurant in Glastonbury called Gigi's. Best pizza in the world. Interestingly, the pizza in Italy isn't actually that great. |

| New York is meant to have good pizza right, I guess from all those Italian Americans there. |

| I'm not too fussy when it comes to pizza (though ham & pineapple can fuck right off!) but I do love the ones you can get made up fresh in Asda. Stuart from the film threesome has it right though with this: "Sex is kinda like pizza. When it's bad, it's still pretty good" - drunkalilly wrote:

| Jo and I had a good run with Domino's - we called it off after realising the hideous expense attached to it. Now it's Dr. Oetker from the supermarket, which is fine enough. I get the Spinach one (and put tuna on top, for I am strange) and Jo has the Mozzarella one. |

| I do enjoy the slightly thicker pizza hut style of pizza from time to time, and I order Domino's expecting some of that, but it doesn't deliver. It just has a funny aftertaste or something, I can't explain it. Same with Ask Italian.
Pizza Express is good, but normally a proper independent Italian is where it's at. In fact, I think i'mma order a pizza tonight. |

| That Stewart video is brilliant and totally agree. Yeah the deli counter at work with the pizzas does great business. There seems to be a lot of ham & pineapple hate don't know why but I guess in Scotland it has fruit on it which is weird for you to have also do deep fry your pizza's |

| I've never got along with ham and pineapple. I wouldn't chop up a banana and stick it on my bolognese, would I? The stewart bit was great, I haven't watched daily show in ages. And to be honest, my knowledge of the NY/ Chicago rivalry comes from HIMYM. |

| Down here my only option is either Domino's or Pizza hut and well I prefer Domino's over Pizza hut as the last time I had hut it was terrible and haven't been game enough to go back |

It has nothing to do with being Scottish, I love fruit it just doesn't belong anywhere near a pizza & I've never had a deep fried one either as it sounds disgusting. |

| I'm going to pretend I didn't see that. Anyway, I'm another one who likes pineapple. The sweet-and-sour tang riffs wonderfully off the rest of the pizza. Oddly, though, I can't be doing with ham. |

| *Phoenix DownA few nights ago Jo and I tried Papa John's, after discovering that one had opened up nearby on the drive to the airport. I wasn't convinced: the garlic sauce they provided was vile and the taste just not as good as Domino's. |

| Isn't their garlic dip actually garlic butter? I recall it being absolutely disgusting. |

| Had one of these last night: Not recommended, to be honest. It was all a bit too messy and not tasty enough to warrant the mess. Their haggis pizzas though - bang on. |
