| It is a release date and we talk about it on PoW, which is in my sig. The big news os that's it at E3 which hopefully means were gettign a western release date for the game at E3. |

| All my hype up and died a few weeks back I'm afraid. I have no faith of this coming here in any timely manner thanks to the Nis-Atlus partnership disintegrating a few weeks back so I've deliberately killed the parts of myself that was looking forward to this. |

| I'm hoping that Sony might handle it instead and announce a date on there stage, but as it's at E3 it must be coming to North America at least at some-point. |

| I'm optimistic we'll still get it this year. It's a pretty big game for Sony - although, considering its proximity to FFXV, I'm doubtful we'll get it anywhere too near to its original September release date. On a happier note, I LOVE the menus in this. Gorgeous menu art that's oozing with style, and the soundtrack is on point as always. Dead excited for this. |

| I'm excited to see what the E3 trailer is as it has something to do with the date Valentines Day, So I'm guessing it's showing romance stuff. |

| This in 3 weeks and it's only in Japan, Persona 5 is Atlus's best selling game ever already. |

| Started this yesterday and played for 4hrs straight and it felt like maybe a hour, I only stopped because of WWE NXT otherwise I may have continued on.
Even though I'm 4hrs in, I'm still in what you would call the tutorial as the game is explaining all the mechanics still. I can't remember P4 doing that and if it did it didn't for such a long time. I don't know if this was done for newcomers who now thanks to the hit was P4 are now looking at P5 and jumping on, and Atlus has made it more accessible for them.
I'm liking the characters I've met so far, as I did think that might have been a issue as from other RPGs like a Mass Effect you get attached to Tali, Wrex then when you play another in the series its not the same.
I guess like FF, Atlus can bring quality new characters every entry also I hope we get the PS2 version of P3 on PS4 as a PS2 classic be in OG form or FES.
Prediction Makoto to be best girl from the art book and a few vids, I've seen. |

| I'm now 30hrs in and on the 3rd palace, its utterly fantastic also I think I might be right about Makoto.
If you go back a few posts, I point out this was Atlus best selling game in Japan well it's gone and charted at Number 1 in the UK to be the first JRPG since Ni No Kuni to do that (Whilst writing this I thought of Pokemon, that must of topped the chart, so that fact that chart-track has put out might be wrong) and being the best selling Persona and Atlus game.
Also the game has sold 1.5m copies already and now it's in the wild and peeps like me going on about it, word of mouth will only drive that number up. |

| I beat the 4th Palace yesterday, really enjoying it so far, much more than I expected. Even though I'm not sure the battle system has changed too much I'm really into it, though I get well annoyed when I can't exploit an enemies weakness as it just screws up the whole flow for me. |

| Still that's only 2 days, what you play for like 20hrs a day each day or something also shouldn't you be doing something with the misses if Persona has taught me anything.

| I bought this last Wednesday and I'm part way through the second palace. It's one of the best JRPGs I've played for sure. Everything is oozing with style, from the menus to the UI to the music to the graphics... it's such a cool game to just look at. I think the biggest improvement from previous Persona games is the dungeon level design. Having the dungeons designed by an actual human being rather than procedurally generated like the corridors of P3 and P4 is such a big change. It's fun to actually traverse the dungeons now, whereas before it was a means to an end to get to the next socialising bit.

| One thing that is stressing me out more than ever is the use of days. You miss out on so many reasons because Morgana decides he can't be arsed letting you have fun. I have to do the dungeons in one go because I dare not waste another day and evening on it! |
