| I re watched it straight away. Like I said, the only major issue I had was how rushed this finale was after they spent half a season on shit like Daphne. I think when I go back and re watch from season one I think the ending won't feel too bad. And in terms of the kids, that was filmed in 2006 so that would have been perfect then. They didn't know where our emotional investments would lie in 2014. |

| Yeah it did feel a bit mad to cram so many years into 40mins. I just wish they had decided to scrap the kids footage and make an ending that made more sense for the show as it currently is. |

| - Spoiler:
It would have been weird not to have the kids in the final scene, considering the show's format. Like I said, you wouldn't have to go back very far for this to have been exactly the ending I wanted. I don't think anyone could have predicted how great Tracy would be and how impressively she would live up to eight seasons of hype. In anything else, her being Ted's soulmate would have precluded him from loving anyone else but HIMYM is more realistic than that. She loved Max but found happiness again with Ted. He loved her enough to break down and cry about getting an extra 45 seconds with her, but he found love again with Robin. It was heartbreaking and heartwarming in the space of a minute and it was a much better ending than most TV shows ever get.

It could've been better. The exact same thing happened in Friends, Smallville, LOST; they wanted the "ending" to come in the finale so it ended up being rushed. As it is, it was a much better ending than any of them. I think when I re watch the series knowing what's coming it's gonna be bananas. |

| Yep. Robin dragged her into a football stadium, blindfold, on her knees... BANG. Double - tap to the cerebellum. |

| I dunno about it being a better ending than LOST. I liked the way that ended, with this I felt a bit cheated. I dunno it just felt like it went against what they've spent 9 series trying to develop in too many ways. |

| Like I said before, it's only really the last two seasons that really didn't fit with this ending. I did like the Lost ending, but easily my favourite character was Locke and I hated that they turned him into the man in black for the last season then gave Jack the big heroic moment and the girl. Jack was so boring. |

| I don't think anyone could defend: - Major Spoilers:
How they handled the mother's death. We got the kids saying "You totally still love Aunt Robin" before we get told "Oh yeah, she's dead, by the way". No details, no emotional goodbye, no "big moment" with the whole gang. Just an off-screen death and a throwaway line.
I don't mind unexpected endings that end "wrong" when they're done right - Chuck is a great example of a "wrong" ending being done perfectly. But this was just poorly done. |

| - Spoiler:
It was poorly handled, I'll give you that, but I think saying it ruined the show was an exaggeration. It did give us some excellent moments of Ted and Tracy coping with it, it just spread them into the preceding episodes. The ending they went for was that Ted is telling this story about the mother six years after her death, when the kids are ready for him to move on to get hem to understand the two important loves of his life. It wouldn't have been the moment to bring up and dwell on these old wounds. I would have preferred to see that story told over half a season instead of half an hour, but unfortunately that's what TV execs like finales to do. I don't think it can ruin the series, it just puts a hopeful twist on an earlier doomed relationship and a bittersweet twist on Ted's hopeful future Mrs right thing.

| So I've read the HIMYM spoilers as we knew from rumors what was kinda going to happen. Any way this is coming and there seems to be a second ending. |

| Game of Throoooooooooooones! This is the first season I've watched as it's on the telly, as opposed to binge watching the DVDs. It's nice to be keeping up with everyone else, and having the week's cliffhangers, and basically I didn't want to wait, but the trappings of television don't really fit with the epic, film quality production. Breaking for the adverts, the announcrr talking over the end credits, or any of that tv stuff, just feels really inappropriate. - New season spoilers:
Opening with the reforging of Ice was a nice touch. The guy playing Prince Oberyn seems good, but the new actor playing Daario is a weird choice because he looks absolutely nothing like last season's version. Arya's kill at the inn was good, but nowhere near as satisfying as when she killed the Tickler himself in the books. Also, I'm sure Janos Slynt didn't get to the wall until after the battle in the books?

| I've just watched the first season over the last couple of days. Fortunately the lack of story in Dark Souls allows me to watch things at the same time! |

| How do you play dark souls without giving it your fullest attention? That game puts me over its knee and spanks me even when I don't have the tv on! Also it does have a story, it just isn't does down your throat in cut scenes it's actually expressed through video game. |

| Is that what set Balla off? I know there is a story but it's not a key part of the game like TWD or Mass Effect. There's basically no use of sound that matters so I can enjoy a good TV show at the same time. |
