| I like this list. Our Chris - well, Our Chris S - has tried to go for exclusives where possible, it seems to me, so you won't necessarily find some of the multiformat titans in there. Clever. |

| It's always a odd one lists as I do love a good list but things like best Wii U games, you want to to highlight the games that make the Wii U the Wii U and a great system it what seems a both a objective & subjective list.
By keeping of things like Batman sure it's in his honourable mentions but Batman doesn't make the Wii U great and soemthign that can be plated almost anywhere, same when I sent my suggestions to Rummy about PS4 games I went for mainly exclusives & Japanese as that's what makes PlayStation to me.
Where Andy suggested some great games but they could be played almost anywhere, I don't know Rummy doesn't have Xbox One and I don't know how good is PC is, but those games don't make PlayStation PlayStation.
Like Batman doesn't make the Wii U the Wii U, Splatoon does. |

| Now I've only took a glance at this but he only says Batman Arkham City is great which I'd agree with & it'd definitely be a game I'd recommend if you were buying a wii U. (Origins not so much) |

| Despite what Chris says, you know that any console where Captain Toad clambers into the top 30 hasn't been in rudest health. For all that it was cute... that's mostly what it had going for it. Saw his comment on SSBU and thought of Mas. |

| @Jas would you really knowing most people buying a Wii U would have had the option to play it already
@Balla sure does as it's true as to me it's about gameplay and for me the gameplay is better in melee

| Also, spotted that Runbow wasn't anywhere on the list. I hope he's played it; it's an alright sort of game. |

Yes. It's an interesting one. Chris seems to have gone for the best Wii U exclusives and put multiformat games in the 'There Are Also These Games' section at the end. There's a cool purity to that. To my mind, though, if you call your article 'The 30 Best Wii U Games', it should list the 30 best Wii U games, regardless of whether you can play them elsewhere or not. Besides, games like Rayman Legends and Shovel Knight arguably have their best versions on the Wii U anyway. |

| It's always a hard one for systems as take IGN recently they did a Top 25 of PS4 and other systems (not sure if Wii I has been done) and The Last of Us along with other remasters part from GTAV which they explain why it's on the list, aren't on it.
As you all know I don't think the TLoU is the best thing ever made but it is likely the best game you can play on a PS4 and is the best version.
Same goes for this Wii U list of Chris' as it has both Zelda Remasters in it they are arguably the best games on the system and then you have Batman, Deus Ex, Mass Effect all ports of older games which like the Zelda's most could have played.
But do those games make the Wii U the Wii U that's the question, that doing a list like this or talk to anyone do you go for right you've played games before and you're looking at buying a Wii U here's the games you need to get or you could go to approach of never played games before and you're getting a Wii U's here's the best games which then Batman should be on the list as it is one of the 30 best games on Wii U.
I think from Chris' list has done a bit of both with the top 30 being these are games that make the Wii U the Wii U and if you haven't played these 3rd party games these 15 are the best as well.
Also it is what he's played he may not have played some games like Runbow which most on here from how you talking about it would be on a Top 30 list. |

| There's another reason why remasters of games less than a year old are beyond stupid. |

| Which was bought for me as a present. (I'd also say that I probably played the ps4 significantly less than I did on ps3) |

| Sure but even you asked for it or not you still played and you can't say it's not been a success both from sales or people playing as that's all I see Dusty playing.

| Regardless of a remasters success I can still be of the opinion that I think they are stupid.

| Unless your playing them cough *Dishonoured * cough.
But on a vote or whatever then it's a strange one as I always vote Wind Waker as the best Wii U game as to me it is the best game on the system, yet it's a remaster.
As like Zero said it should be the best games regardless if a remaster or port or multiformat etc |

| You know full well I never played Dishonoured on ps3. (It's also not a year old game being remastered either)
Anyway I think you have misunderstood Zero's point a little bit, you were questioning why Batman was chosen just because some may have played it elsewhere but if it's a great game then what does it matter? (That's rhetorical btw no need to answer) |

| Never mind that: I think we all want to know why Idol Emblem Hashtag Mirages didn't make it into Chris' list. Could it be that he doesn't enjoy JRPGs about squealing Japanese teens dancing about in glitzy costumes? |

| Dishonoured isn't exactly old either, also rummy for instance is playing the last of us because he didn't have a PS3. So to me it's no different of situation.
I understood Zero's point and Batman wasn't actually chosen but I do agree the best games should be included and yes I did answer. But doesn't mean if gJones asked me what Wii U games, I wouldn't recommend Batman as he likely has played it on 360.
@Balla that could be a reason but alao his VITA thread didn't have Persona 4 Golden in it along with other Japanese games which is basically the best of the VITA. |

Obviously! But I only said "if someone was buying a wii U" that I'd recommend it as they could just as easily not have owned any gaming system before. - mas wrote:

Of course you did because you can't help yourself. Plus I was half joking with my remastered comment and you bite on them every time & take it serious.
