I just never got around to them! Still lots to love on the DS without those games though. No doubt: nonetheless, if you have to play one game on the DS, pick Ghost Trick. This applies to all of you, and Jas will back me up! (Also obligatory Meteos plug, even though there's no way in hell it's a classic. ) While I'm here, I'll put Kirby's Power Paintbrush on the list. One of the best uses of the stylus on the console. |

| Argh! My head! Seriously, this is a mammoth task each week. BUT IT MUST BE DONE Right: - Spoiler:
Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney - Yeah Phoenix Wright: Trials and Tribulations - Yeah Professor Layton and the Curious Village - Yeah Professor Layton and the Lost Future - Yeah Ghost Trick - For the love of all that is holy Yes Star Fox Command - Nope - sorry Might and Magic: Clash of Heroes - Abstain Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney - No Ace Attorney Investigations: Miles Edgeworth - No again Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story - Abstain because I don't really know much about the game itself (but I'm glad to see it's got Yesses. I know; I'm clearly not sure of the rules of this) WarioWare Touched - Actually No. I thought the games were a little lightweight, being baseed on just tapping the screen Pokemon HG/SS - Yes Mario Kart DS - No (uhoh) Castlevania Dawn of Sorrow - Abstain Animal Crossing Wild World - YES Tony Hawk's American Sk8land - Abstain New Super Mario Bros. - Yes - because it was the first new one Nintendogs - Actually, yeah Sonic Rush - Abstain Dr Kawashima's Brain Training - Yeah Phantom Hourglass - No. I don't like it. Dragon Quest IX - Abstain The World Ends With You - Abstain Advance Wars: Dark Conflict - Abstain Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin - Abstain Final Fantasy III - Abstain Final Fantasy Tactics A2 - Abstain Mario and Luigi: Partners in Time - Abstain, although I have played it, I accept I don't like turn-based RPGs that much, and everyone else does, so... Hotel Dusk: Room 215 - Yeah AWDS - Abstain JwtB - Yes EBA - ABstain Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan - Abstain GTACW - Abstain KPP - Abstain
The only (very hopeful) thing I can nominate is Art Style: Intersect - Brilliant original puzzle game. Apart from when it was called Digidrive on the GBA. Oh. |

| I'll give a NO to Diamond and Pearl (really didn't get on with them, and I've heard Platinum fixed a lot of issues with the game) and a YES to Black and White. |

| I'm on the Jay side of things. Few series entries have disappointed me as much as DP, apart from Sticker Star, Dream Team, Mario Tennis Open, Star Fox Command... Okay so there have been a couple. BW were a return to form, though; and what I played of Platinum was a tremendous improvement. |

| For me, Ruby and Sapphire were the slightly disappointing ones then diamond and pearl were a bit of fun.
Black and White were the really solid ones though. |

I think it was during the GBA vote that myself and DL were chatting about this - I think Pokéfatigue is a real thing, and it can ruin a generation of Pokémon for you. My Pokémon fatigue set in with D/P, which ended up with me having to struggle my way through. |

| For me, a massive part of DP being weak was because they chopped the number of monsters in the main game down to 150, and only added 70 (I think?) new Pokémon, so the range of newbies to use felt very limited (compared to 200 and 130-odd respectively in RSE). This is backed up by Platinum having fifty or so other 'mons, including several of the new evolutions, and feeling infinitely superior. I also felt that the music was not good in DP.
Don't get me wrong, I believe that Pokéfatigue probably is a thing - I just feel that there were other reasons why DP weren't as good as RSE. (They did at least get rid of the interminable surfing.) |

| Advance Wars: Dual Strike ABSTAIN Jam With The Band ABSTAIN EBA/Ouendan! ABSTAIN GTA YES (reluctantly; I hated it but know I'm in the minority) DP NO (as much as I love them it's because I completed the Pokedex rather than them being truly great games - Defog, anyone? Urgh) BW YES (another reluctant one, to be honest - how many Pokemon games bar you from catching Pikachu for ages?) |

| WarioWare Touched - Yes Mario Kart DS - Yes New Super Mario Bros. - Yes Phantom Hourglass - Yes Dragon Quest IX - Yes Final Fantasy Tactics A2 - Yes Hotel Dusk: Room 215 - Yes GTACW - Yes D&P - No, they're just weaker in general, most of the new 'mon weren't very good either.
Gotta add Nine Hours, Nine Persons, Nine Doors. Surely nobody can turn that down?
Also sad to see all the negativity around SF Command, it's the only good one... |

| Looks like the gneneral public disagrees with you, Mas: they think that there are 25 classics on the Nintendo DS. (FFIII a classic when FFIV isn't, though? Some of you lot are mad.) With that, it's time for the last Nintendo wiik (ha), as we vote on classic Wii games! For the last time, I'll start you off: Wii Sports Y 11-0 LoZTP Y 10-2 SMG1 Y 12-0 SMG2 Y 11-1 Xenoblade Chronicles Y 7-0 Okami Y 8-0 The Last Story N 2-4 LoZSS N 7-3 No More Heroes Y 8-1 Resident Evil 4 Wii Edition N 9-2 Kirby Epic Yarn Y 7-2 LKS A 7-1 Donkey Kong Country Returns N 7-3 Rayman Origins N 4-6 Sonic Colours A 3-3 MKWii A 6-6 SSBB Y 11-2 Strikers Charged A 6-2 Super Paper Mario N 5-4 Wii Fit Y 5-1 WWSM N 4-6 Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn A 3-1 Metroid Prime 3: Corruption N 4-3 Red Steel N 1-7 Red Steel 2 A 2-0 MHTri A 4-1 Mario & Sonic at the Olympics N 2-5 Ghost Squad N 1-3 Excite Truck A 2-3 Wii Sports Resort N 5-2 New Play Control Pikmin N 4-2 NPC Pikmin 2 N 3-2 Beat the Beat: Rhythm Paradise Y 3-2 Trauma Centre: Second Opinion N 2-2 NBA Jam N 2-2 Punch Out!! A 3-0 DJ Hero A 1-2 House of the Dead: Overkill A 3-0 Zack & Wiki N 4-3 Madworld N 3-3 Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga A 5-2 Tomb Raider Anniversary A 2-1 Art Style: Light Trax N 1-2 World of Goo Y 4-0 Rabbids Go Home N 1-3 Hydroventure A 1-0 Cave Story FN 4-1 And Yet It Moves A 2-0 NSMBWii N 3-3 Boom Blox Bash Party A 1-0 Disaster DoC N 1-3 Kororinpa Y 2-0 De Blob N 1-3 Endless Ocean 3-1 S&P2 A 3-0 And a question to consider alongside. The Wii U is prematurely drawing to its end, but how many of its games do we think will be looked on as classics in the future? SSBU and MK8, surely, perhaps Splatoon - any others?

| I think it's because the DS never appealed to me Balla after sort of launch peroid bar a few games like Pokemon HS/SS, looking at the 25 gmaes in there are some good games but compared to the others I wouldn't be rushing to get a DS over a Cube, N64 or SNES.
The Wii I do know more about and can
Wii Sports, Yes LoZTP, Yes even though it's a GameCube game SMG1, Yes as I know it is even with those controls SMG2, Same as above Xenoblade Chronicles, I'm going to abstain (really it's a No but I don't want boo this man gif from like everyone) Okami, I've only played the PS2 version which is a Yes and I guess the Wiimote is useful due to the brush that it's a Yes
I'll put forward... The Last Story Skyward Sword No More Heroes Resident Evil 4 Wii Edition Kirby Epic Yarn
We have been talking about the Wii U in the yesterday I bought thread and to me it might end up with about 5 classics Bayo 2 (the best game on the system), Splat, Pikmin 3, Hyrule Warriors, Rayman Legends maybe things like SF:0, SMTxFE, XCX etc will be as well but it's no many at all. |

| Ah, I was waiting for SPM to rear its ugly, tedious head. An alright game that didn't deserve to win the Wii RPGs vote, and definitely isn't a classic! Sorry Smurf.
By the way, LoZSS is on the list, before everyone forgets about it! (Two people have passed it by already...) |

| If it was unclear it was a yes from me. It's certainly not an RPG but I really enjoyed it, it was a novel idea that I feel worked well but hey ho, everyone has a choice. |

| Wii Sports: YES YES YES Resident Evil 4: Yes Sonic Colours: No
Abstain the rest except for...
Mario Kart Wii & SSBB: These are tough because I think they're weaker than past iterations in each franchise. However, I think anyone with a Wii should own these games, so they get a somewhat begrudging Yes
I will contribute: Wii Fit, and WarioWare: Smooth Moves |
